You sir have built a exceptionally quality structure. You're presentation on why you chose the design, the reasoning behind that choice, the templates & jigs use used & that only takes all but a minute or two to prep up, yet so few give a minute in lieu of quality, you won't.
You should be a teacher, whether it be vocational school, workshops for construction company's, etc etc.
Presentation with clear explanation is key to the minds retention of knowledge.
I salute you sir. Well done.

Hi friend love this series one little tip for lining up to fit a hinge rather than using a piece of plywood or something similar. First fit your hinges to the door in the position you need them, then I prefer to use a screwdriver to balance the door on, this way you can "seesaw" the door into position to get the exact position for the top hole on the top hinge. Screw it to the door frame then you can remove the screwdriver from underneath the door then its really easy to position the top screwhole of the bottom hinge by lining up the edge of the door with the door frame by eye then just screw in the other missing screws into the frame. Easy peasy lol.
I think I'm definitely going to follow your idea for building my new shed very soon perhaps as we move into the spring next year I love the simplicity and strength and versatility and usefulness of you design thanks for your videos mate 👍👍👍

Hi Jeff, I have just watched your how to build a shed series. bloody brilliant mate. I am building my construction inside our shearing shed becourse I need a secure and weatherproof area for my picture frame hobby. I was interested in the frame construction and door hanging ideas you have. I will adapt to suit the fact that it will be basically a free standing room inside the shed on a concrete slab. I have been dry walling our bedrooms in the homestead, your videos on that subject where also Brilliant. Thank you so much for your generosity in giving of your talents so us mere mortals have the balls to take on these projects.

To help when installing large eye bolt anchors (like at the end of this video), run a large and long screwdriver through the eye after the bolt is initially started. Then, you have a great "T" handle to help turn the bolt into the wood. Of course, tighten down to exactly 1/2 millimeter as needed.... ;o)

Really great looking shed. One aspect I am not sure about is the skirting board. It looks pretty although rain water is likely to gather there no matter how well it is caulked, thus rotting out the base of the shed. If you insist on this method, perhaps a bevel on the top edge to throw the water off would help. Just a thought!!

Was a Joy to watch..!! But I can't find any videos from anyone who does the same shed with corrugated steel sheets.
I love the lean-to style roof.. Just like I want to make....!
Love your wit also..!! Damn nice work..!! I almost pulled the trigger on an 8x10 from home cheapo, but when I looked at the one set up..???? Accordian like from the inside..!! Lol..
I want to make a sliding barn door 48" wide for big rider mower. Thanks!!

You sir are a very intertaining showman with great skills. I have learnt a lot watching your videos.
I watched the 4 hr version of this shed build.
I feel you missed the opportunity to create a more invisible mower door. The hinges could have been almost invisible and all latches could have been on the inside only. Also creating an emergency exit incase the wife locks you in while she eats ice cream in the shade 😎 .

Thanks! I like the custom made door. Is it much different if I want to make double doors & have one slightly overlap the other so the center gap is covered (or maybe just add a small metal trim piece/ to overlap)? Would the 2x4s on the edges where the doors meet have to be notched or angled to not bump one another? Any videos on this sort of DIY door in double doors?
We used a flexible metal wire with plastic coating for our gate latch to open from the inside of a door to a covered area outside the workshop.

    Phenomenal! One question please.
If the roof overhang at the front is shorter would you need the posts? I'm trying to use these designs for a Tiki Hut
