We invite friend of the Pinoy community - Garbo to join us on this episode as we tackle a full weekend of feasting. We go to the top Philippine restaurants in Auckland, New Zealand as confirmed by the Pinoy community.

Another one of the top Filipino restaurants in Auckland, New Zealand. I can't rave on about their sisig enough. Flavour, texture and deliciousness on a plate. The sinigang soup is also spectacular.

Just like the people of Philippines, Gold Ribbon is a joyous restaurant full of flavour, fun and happiness. Boodle fight is the best way to eat with a large group. We highly recommend the experience.

Yay!!! I’m Filipino and this was such a joy to watch. My favorite Filipino dishes are kaldereta, palabok, and ginataang alimango. Love Lechon too. Nothing beats my mom’s cooking. I always try to cook with my mom to learn her delicious recipes so I can pass it down to my kids one day. Filipino cuisine is so hearty and comforting. Lots of love goes into it! Everyone needs to try it at some point. Thanks for posting this awesome video my friend. Definitely loved watching this 🤗😘👍🏼❤️

Looks so good. I'm so blessed my sister inlaw is Filipino and she's a great cook! Yes they do love their desserts. My favorite soup!! I love the sourness. My sis made this feast on New Years...So good. Pork so good!

My ex was Filipino and I remember food is all she talked about even wanted to be a cook.I have some Polish friends who live in Philippines and show the local Food partys its amazing how much they eats and never put on much weight it must be something to do with metabolism or things they do . The foods in this video spoke to my heart... anything fried banana, Im there... desserts, I love... it was made for me and Ive never even tried it :( Its cool to see that there are dishes they eat with their hands, my parents are from central America so thats the way we’re used to eating a lot of our dishes as well. And it was great seeing Yen in this one!! I didn’t know that she’s Malaysian, that’s a fun fact! She looks exotic, I wouldn’t have guessed what she was :) My favorite dish (well...meal) has to be the one served on the banana leaf! 👌🏼
Totally know what you mean! Filipino food is definitely made with love cause you can taste it with every bite. So many flavours and colours. I love desserts too so the ube was hitting the spot. Eating with your hands is definitely the best part of boodle fight 😊 yen will appear more in future episodes 😂🤞 she is part malay and part Chinese which might explain the look 😁🖖

Yo Felix hahahahaha G is an old friend of ours and it is a long standing tradition that we come up with as many variations of her name as possible. Filipino food is soooo friggin amazing right. So many different flavours and textures and always made with love. Made us so happy putting this one together ^_^ If you have a chance to get some local Pinoy delights take it for sure!

I can't pronounce half of these dishes to be honest, but I guess the presentation and the taste of the dishes are the most important - didn't disappoint at all! From the sounds of it I would prefer the pork kare kare the most with the peanut sauce and shrimp paste! The Sisig sounds pretty unhealthy but I guess it's one of those guilty pleasure food items haha.

Once again man the food looks delicious and that concept of group eating at Golden Ribbon is something we'd definitely want to try, but we think the standout in this video was Garbo! What an absolute true kiwi crack up - "Mild, medium...and whats the other one?". haha that set us off right from the start and she didn't stop being entertaining, so we say a big HELL YEAH bring G back!

You guys will love these restaurants for sure when you visit 😁✌ there is another place also called homestyle kitchen on Elliott street which makes lechon but we haven't tried it yet. A lot of the Filipino community recommends that place too 😊👌
