- Hello everyone!🥰Today I'll continue swatching autumnal colors, this time on the muted and moody side of the color spectrum and all created by the lovely company Deep Deep Light 🍂🎨💛
After I have swatched all the lovely colors that Deep Deep Light so very kindly sent me, I'll be curating a limited autumnal palette using some of the colors...and I'd love it if you could help me choose what colors to include in the comments below! 🥰❤️
A HUGE THANK YOU to Deep Deep Light for their incredible kindness and generosity, their colors are absolutely divine and I am so grateful to have found them 💛🧡🎨
They also have very generously provided us with a discount code for 15% off to be used at their online store! ❤️
The code is: mooncolors
and can be applied at checkout to their store here:

I would pick all of them.
whispers*: so would I 😁🙈❤
@@lilymoonart 😂😂😂
Can’t decide - any but the two grays. Can’t wait to see the final palette!
❤️😊❤️
Prickly pear, fern, burnt sienna, and the umber color. Gorgeous!! I don’t think you need both of those cool pink/purple colors. I would definitely add a yellow! Fall leaves are yellow! And red, and orange. You need brown and pink too.
Re: slate, it would be rocks showing through as the grass dies back in autumn.
Lovely suggestion! 🥰🥰
I can't decide between Fern and Cassel Brown. They're all pretty, though!
I can’t choose between wood cal wheat and indigo they seem quite unique and very different. I definitely love both the greens and the pigeon blue in fact, the whole top row is perfect in and of itself again I do not envy your position in having to make a pallet as much fun as it is to have the colours choosing would be a nightmare.
They are all so lovely, if I could I would include them all! 🥰❤️
These are all so good, how can you pick just one? My “one” would be row one plus the chocolatey goodness of burnt umbra. Although, slate and indigo could make a lovely, moody, autumn sky. I look forward to seeing your choices. Thank you for sharing😘
Caput mortuum for the win. It's so versatile to have that rich opacity. Mixing and granulating. Love it in so many ways!
Although this is almost the perfect palette for me. Just want a bit of a muted yellow or ochre to match my painting style.
these are gorgeous, i love a good caput mortaum ❤❤❤
❤️❤️🎨🥰
Deep Deep Light have such unique names for their colours. I would have to pick Cassel Brown for my favourite.
I'm caught between wood cow wheat and pigeon. They are beautiful for autumn. They are all lovely though.
Many lovely colours!🤩 Wood cow wheat is my favorite🤗
I love forest green, pigeon and burnt sienna ❤❤
Burnt sienna. I can imagine it being a lovely mixing color giving all sorts of glowing autumn varities.
Totally agree! ❤️🥰
I would just want them all in a palette :) but I definitely would choose Ancient Red, Caput Morteum and Indigo C . Are these colors available yet? I didn’t see them all on their site.
Susan hi! You can request these colors using this link: deepdeeplight.com/product/your-name-set/ 🥰🎨
Lily do you know when this muted Autumn set may be available please? Thank you for sharing…I thoroughly enjoy watching your video’s, your voice is so soothing to listen to and I love seeing all your swatches.
Hi Susan! You are so very kind, thank you! ❤️ I do hope to have a date for their launch on the DDL site very soon. 🥰
I have the bend grass, thats a beautiful colour! ( I am so lucky I have a small DDL palet😊)
Now I also want the wood cow wheat, pigeon, caput mortum and the partridge❤
❤️❤️🎨!!
Ok, ok, ok……… one color- FERN. But Pigeon is a close second. And I still want all of these and all of the other ones that you swatched. Does this company ship to the US?
Lovely selection! ❤️🥰 Yes, they do ship to the US!!! 😊🎨❤️
Burnt Sienna for the win!
Love the Ancient Red.
Wood cow wheat, I love the color but also the range that would be possible between mass tone and diluted. It would make a wonderful color for monochromatic studies.
Stephanie, that's a wonderful recommendation, thank you! ❤️
Ancient red and prickly pear! Sooo lovely!!!
I love all these colours but if I had to choose one it would have to be burnt umbra, closely followed by caput mortuum.
🥰🥰❤❤
How many colours are in the limited palette that you’re creating? And how many would be in a bigger set?
Love the ancient red. The pigeon is also fantastic! burnt sienna would be most useful for mixes I think. They are all amazing!
Where can I obtain your sketchbook?
I would say the indigo. It’s so nice.
It is a beautiful Indigo! 💙💙
Hi Lily, wow 🤩 just beautiful colour’s, My favourites are all of them but if I had to choose it would be wood cow wheat, pigeon, forest green, prickly pear, partridge and fern. I love the names of the colour’s just stunning I much prefer the darker warmer colour’s than the brights. Hope you are doing well. Sending you lots of love xxx 💗🥰
I love them all!, I want them all❤😂
😁🥰🎨❤️!!
I agree with you about the browns. I think the burnt umbra is gorgeous and very autumnal.
They would all be great in a autumn pallet, but I think fern is my favorite. Prickly pear is also a favorite... ;)
I have more than one favorite too, so I can relate 😊 Lovely choices! 🥰
They are all so beautiful. So hard to choose. Love the Forest Green the best. I think. I knew you would love DDL!
I have fallen head over heels for them Monique! 🥰❤️🥰
They are always sold out, so I can never get any.
You just have to ask for the colours you‘d like! The two owners are so lovely and helpful, you‘lll see!
2nd 😂
