Lol, I’m ur twin! I’m a total beginner but I’ve fallen in love with sketching, art and buying supplies! Sketching/painting/coloring with diff tools has become therapeutic for me, a must daily! I also journal every single morning over coffee, lovvvvvvve coffee! Love ur channel, new sub! Will buy your book for sure!
Love the video but found the music distracting. Music can compete with what you are saying and you have such a lovely voice. Thanks for the great content!
Ah thanks for the feedback. Yes - some people love music gently in the background and I agree for others it can distract. Ill try to set it at a lower level in future. Thanks though
I really like your video and I had a look to your channel and I’ve seen you work mostly on sketchbook ( ref to your banner). Do you sale your art as well ? I mean outside your sketchbook ? I love love love journaling (all type of journals) but sometimes I feel it’s not real art and I’m no real artist. That I have to get out of my sketchbook, like paint on canvas or sell stickers. Can you give my your advices on that ? 😊 thank you
I mainly use sketchbooks as my way of expressing and creating on a daily / regular basis. I do also make paintings and prints that I sell via my website but 90% of the time, sketching is what I do - it is my foundation. Art I sell is like the tip of the iceberg - tons more work and sketches and thoughts go into sketchbooks first. I mainly try to just enjoy sketching and if you want to do something outside of a sketchbook - go for it. Certainly don't pressure yourself to.
"There are no sketchbook police." Love it, Susan! Do you have recommendations on pages that you might "mess up" on and what to do? You mention just turning the page but I've realized I tend to abandon the sketchbook often or end up tearing away pages. :/
Ooo - this is a great topic for a future video. I guess my first instinct is always tun the page and start another one. But you can also use white gesso (white paint) over the top to start again, collage over the top or use the original sketch as a basis for something else…. Ill have a think and maybe do another video
I wish we lived in a peaceful world where governments were less evil, wars were nonexistent, and sanctions were unnecessary. May things get better for the whole world. Very sad.

I heard from another artist, that she uses a Sakura jelly roll pen in White. She can go over the mistake and it becomes much less noticeable.
You're right. It's unfortunate that I can't buy your book because of sanctions

Oh no. Sorry about that
