I am forced to read to read this for school. But with an audio book that free, no wait time to borrow, and has a way to show pictures. This makes me actually enjoy the book. Thank you.
Wow what a brilliant little group you have. No one can touch hugh Fraser of course. But this is very nicely done. I've set myself a reading goal for 2024 and it seems your little group is going to help me out with many of the titles on my list. Thanks so much. While Hollywood is collapsing it's nice to know there are those who simply want to tell a good story well. Kudos all.

Ya'll here for school and I'm here to enjoy some of Agatha Christie's best books... This one was really boring. I only had 7 pages to finish it, but I stopped 🤮🤮 I know it sounds idiotic but it was boring af I've read several books by Agatha Christie. I liked Cards on the Table, Murder on the orient express and And Then They were None. This one didn't really speak to me. It's my opinion I can say whatever I want

Would it be possible to get a list of links to the images displayed throughout the book? It would be nice to be able to create a PDF for myself to use while listening to the book, or even for me to look at when I'm not listening to it.
There are exactly 4 illustrations used in this book (scans from Project Guttenberg were used in the video): www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/863/images/ill_001.png www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/863/images/ill_002.png www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/863/images/ill_003.png www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/863/images/ill_004.png
This narrator runs rings around H.F. - no irritating falsetto's. Anyone enjoying this listen to The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, it's brilliant.
Absolutely no way! 😂
Team HUGH FRASER forever!
I am looking forward to more Agatha Christie. Thank you for letting us know about the illustrations
I really enjoy this narrator - he is excellent.

Do you go to school in UK?
Forced?
Asked, I think.
You had a choice, I think.
Are you a tad lazy??

Arthur Lane, you have the most interesting narrative voice!
I'd say, better than David Suchet and Hugh Frazier
I absolutely love the ending.. love Agatha Christie.. second book of her that I've listened to.. looking forward to her other books..
Thank you do much for notifying the listeners there are things they must see.

Same here summer audiobook!!
You don't appreciate classic Agatha Christie and Hercule Poirot. It's an acquired taste.

Some weird mispronunciations/misunderstanding of text by narrator… but overall, he could be worse.
Yes, there are some weird inconsistencies in the reading and in pronunciation. I find it all rather okay but it lacks consistency.
Agree, but still better than AI reading!
@@shellyoleary2920 That's a low bar. I can't listen to AI. Ridiculous.

If it isn't read by Hugh Fraser I ain't listening
Well I guess you ain't listening 😂
Give this man s chance why don't you?
Your loss.
What about David Suchet? He also has read first book, and that's available on RUclips. Gosh, I enjoy his French accent so much.
