Your content is STILL relevant in 2024! I live in an old farm house and my CEL lock would just spin. I could not figure out how to get to the screws. Amazing how simple it was after seeing your video. This is GOLD information. Thank you!!! I didn't know it was a CEL lock. It's that old. Your thumbnail helped a lot to identify.
That was so helpful, saved me a ton of time! I'm in the process of replacing a regular dead bolt with a key pad one and it's an Arrow. Long live RUclips!
Arrow double-cylinder deadbolts conceal the screws in the exact same way.Anyway, thanks for sharing as many locksmiths would have been flummoxed as to how to access the screws and likely might have done the same lol.
Thank you so much!! Mine became loose and couldn't figure out how to get to the screws. I took the screws off the side plate but you can't pull it out. Now the outside is tight again. Thanks!!

Thank you Kilo, I had to pick the lock to take it apart.
That’s something I have never seen. I learned something
Thanks.
Yep! You'll see this style on Arrow's as well!

Glad I was able to help ya out!
Now this is a handy thing to know how to recognize that you are dealing with this type of hidden screws. Thanks for this video, cheers
This one stumps a lot of people lol
We learn something every day. Thanks Kilo.
Knowledge is power!
It’s just savedme a whole lot of time and effort, thank you!
You sir are a gentlemen and a scholar!!! I have the exact deadbolt and was wondering how the EFF was I going to remove it. 🙂
Awesome. Just bought a house that has these and I was scratching my head as to how the heck. So before I got aggravated I found your video. Thank you.

Yes! I planned to do a video on Arrows by themselves haha.. I made this as a one off quick video as I tend to see this more commonly lol
I don't have a key for the one I'm trying to remove. How do I "pick it"?
THIS is what I needed to know!! Perfect, thanks so much I would have never figured that out without destroying it.

It can help to use Blue Loctite on the screws as well just to keep the screws from backing out again over time! :)
@@LockandKilo I will do that! Thanks for the tip.
Do a Lori deadbolt, my first time running into it was definitely fun 🥲
The Lori’s are awesome locks.
@@odinslockllc not when you first start out and no one shows you
@@ItsMicobs if he doesn’t do one, I think I did a vid on one about 3 months back that covers everything.
thx a million !
Arrows work the same too.
Yeah, I debated mentioning it or saving it for it's own video when I do Arrows lol
Nice info. Thanks…
Good video ty
Can you just drill out the covers if you don’t know how to pick locks?
You can. But, they are very thin and if you put too much force/pressure you can damage the screw head, so be super careful.
No not helpful. If I had a key I wouldn't need to remove the deadbolt.
