As a part time Airsofter who works a boring desk job for a 9-5 I appreciate the love and admire your knowledge. My local shop makes a point that every "real" miliary helmet, gloves ect purchase gives you the option to donate to a miliary charity. It's something, so I proudly support those charitys and get to enjoy a sport that gets me out the office and in the mud :)

i know people have a chuckle at airsofters but the little man loves it and i quite like that the little fella gets mucky, stinking dirty drive home with your windows down on a monsoon day. I'm looking forward to to his mum finally giving me permission to take him to the range, Being in England there isn't the range of weapons but you can shoot and get a cert, i think he might like to join me on a deer stalk, or grouse

I also appreciate the comment on the Airsoft guys spending and therefore creating a market. When I was wearing green, we were wearing gear that just come back from Vietnam and it was a bit primitive compared to today. Love your videos, I have been binging a few to catch up. Cheers

Coch, awesome content! Can you do a vid cover battle dress uniforms that you wore throughout your career? The idea of the RAID BDU is intersting and I've seem some pictures of SEALs, especially Team 6 SEALs, wearing an all-tan uniform, circa 2001-2006. Love to hear more about that stuff. What did you wear on ops in the Balkans in the '90s? Would love to learn more about this stuff. Keep up the good work!

SF & other commandos, wore baseball hats, boonies, beanies for decades, the K-Pod didn't get used alot, but some of the first cool guy helmets were also custom CVC helmets,& then custom high cut Mich or ACHs, besides the bumps Delta popularized in the 90's,those IBH
also but were low numbers tho, the need for comms, nods, IR strobe identifiers,& O2 for jumping, then ballistic for CQB is nice

In the movie Blackhawk down unfortunately a Delta Operator gets shot in the head and I always wondered what the point of the head gear was if not to protect from bullets
