Flyers vs Bruins 3-0 Comeback 10th Anniversary

- This is the 10th anniversary of the one of the best comebacks in all of sports. The flyers rallied from 3-0 in the series, but also in game seven.
At the end of the video I accidentally said the flyers were the 8th seed, but they were actually the 7th. Sorry about the error.
This video is a remake of another video of the same series. For the anniversary, I thought it would be perfect to recreate it.

What’s even more crazy is the fact that Jeff Carter and Mike Richards would go on to experience the same thing with Los Angeles Kings in 2014 against San Jose and eventually win the cup!
Love to see it. Not only did Boston blow a 3-0 series lead and lose 4-3, they blew a 3-0 game 7 lead and lost 4-3. Poetic
Every few months I come back to highlights of this series, such an amazing comeback, especially scoring 4 unanswered in game 7. That Stanley cup finals series was truly heartbreaking, would’ve been so awesome to cap it off with a title, hopefully this year’s team can pull it together.
As a hawks fan I remember how intense that final was. Two unbelievable teams, and this is further evidence of that
Only thing is i think with a good goalie the cup was our leighton was awful in two of those final game
Leighton should've kept his paddle flat along the ice. Ugh! Well, still one of the greatest comebacks in all of sports. Down 3-0, force a game 7 on the road, down 3-0 in game 7, but manage to dig out of that hole and take the game and the series 4-3. Not to mention, they needed a shootout win over the great Henrik Lundquist in the final game of the regular season to even make the playoffs. Epic!
I just want to see a cup win as a flyers fan :(. But this was epic!

Boston is really an underrated team in terms of choking. Letting go of a 3-0 series lead, then choking a game 7 3-0 lead! LOL
I may despise the Flyers, but I must admit, their 2010 run was amazing. They clinched the playoffs after a shootout victory and then there was this series. This and the Canadiens upsetting the Capitals were highlights of the 2010 playoffs. Definitely one of the best playoffs I’ve seen.
This is why I love hockey. You never know what’s going to happen next. You can score three in the third to tie it. Series comeback. Last place team beats first place. It can be so unpredictable, which makes it so fun.
As a Boston fan, and a big Red Sox fan, I knew what it meant to me being on the winning end of this same kind of improbable comeback (as an underdog as well). Pure elation. In this instance, it was obviously pretty bittersweet. My B’s collapsing like that was absolutely heartbreaking and I’ll never forget the name Simon Gagne. But holy hell what an insane comeback by the Flyers. They had to come back from 3-0 just in Game 7 too! Unbelievable. I’m sure everyone who played on that team considers it the highest point (if not one of the highest points) of their respective careers. Much respect.
Great video! Absolutely loved it. One thing, Flyers were the 7 seed. Montreal was the 8 seed. We jumped over the Habs with the shootout win over the Rangers.

@@Quole1234 honestly we could care less about 2013 Chicago should thank us for torturing the St. Louis that year in the World Series. Also, it's the biggest choke job for now. It's definitely going to be broken sometime in the future. Every single team has to rebuild. Also, there was a real chance we might've missed the playoffs this year we made it but we couldn't go further. We had to see what we could improve on so for now beats us up but things in the future do not stay the same way
I still remember watching that game and Knowing that the flyers were going to win, even though we were down, three to nothing! Friends looked at me crazy, but when they Did win, they were like " how does she always doooo that"

Correction to your end graphic: The Flyers made the playoffs that year as a 7th seed. They played Montreal in the ECF, who were the 8th seed. The flyers actually had home-ice advantage for that series. Also, couldn’t finish the video off with “final bell”?

Sucks ass that they didn't go all the way, that Flyers lineup was iconic with Pronger and all the other studs. Like most people wanted the Panthers to win the Cup last year but that's what makes the Stanley Cup playoffs so iconic.

I'll never forget this series. Game 7 was insane, coming back from 3-0 in the 1st to win the series. I hooked up with a cute girl later that night.

As a Hawks fan, I always come back to watch these videos of the Flyers run in 2010 and how impressive it was. I’m glad we beat them lol but man truly their run was special as nobody would have thought, at the time, the flyers would pull off something like this.

Best thing that ever happened to the Bruins. We came back the next year more focused and not only swept the flyers but won the cup. Sometimes you need to lose to learn how to win.

No doubt. I was so pissed after it. Many people in Boston were calling for Claude julians head. Then 2010 happened and it turned the entire franchise around.
Sometimes in order to win big, you gotta lose big.
The dominant Capitals lost two years in a row to Penguins before finally beating them in 2018 and going on to win the cup.
The St. Louis blues were in last place in the league in January 2019 before getting their shit together and winning the cup the same year.
The lighting set an NHL record for wins in a regular season but got swept by the blue jackets in the playoffs. And they bounced back by winning two consecutive cups !!!!
I guess you could provide the same analogy to pretty much anything you do in life. just don’t give up :)
