So many great finds. If I could go mudlarking there are so many things I would love to find. I would love to find paste pots, jam jars, tiny bottles, some bigger bottles, tiny dolls, doll tea pots, cups, and saucers, beads, marbles, sea glass, and so many, many more things that I don't know about but would love to find. 😊
Wow!!! You guys, that beautiful green jug is amazing! The Santa and the blue poison are equally incredible. Thank you for letting us enjoy your joy. If I were to be able to dig(mudlark) as often as you do I would love to find a ginger beer and any doll items. Where we live we find many bottles from the 1800+.One time I found a doll leg in the river. Yep, it's a fun addiction 😊
Ian, you found a lovely hand painted pitcher. Louise, I think you meant to say the pitcher was done in the Art Nouveau style. Art Deco has a modern angular art style. The Art Nouveau art movement was active from the 1880s to World War I, with its peak between 1890 and 1910. The Art Deco style was popular from 1919 to 1939, but its origins can be traced back to the mid-to-late 1910s in France: Great day of finds! Thanks for taking us with you! 😊
Happy Birthday!!🤗🎈🎉 Your collection of finds from this dig rival anything found in stores and carry with them a great memory of a fantastic outing! I hope you both are doing great, have a wonderful weekend!!
Hope you had a great birthday Ian 🙂What amazing finds, love the vase - stunning colour! If I could find anything it would have to be a codd bottle or a printed cream jar oh or a ginger bottle 😀
Some brilliant finds today, Louise I loved your poison bottle and Ian I loved your santa bottle. We dont visit many places because we don't drive but we're yet to find a complete clay pipe bowl so that's top of our bucket list. Also yes it would be lovely to see Louise's collection of milk glass jars. Take care 😊

Fab new intro music, bravo to whomever did that for you. 👏🏼 What super finds you had, so many great pieces of history. Do you know what would of been held in the Father Christmas? Would love to know. Yes would love to see any of your collections of items, especially ideas on how you display them cos I’ve only currently got a few items, (can’t find a dump local to me,) however if I was to bring items home I know hubby would soon be saying to me display or get rid 😂 I’ve got loads I’d love to find even basic stuff like a glass bottle stopper, or a Victorian bottle I’ve found rather than bought but right at the top of my wish list is a frozen Charlotte.

I have been searching high and low here in Sweden for some sort of "tip/dump" every time I'm out with my dog in the surrounding forests, which my property sits in the middle of. Considering this whole area is an old Iron Age settlement, which is protected by law, I am not allowed to use a metal detector. Granted, no one would be able to see me but... If... I'm to old to feel that I'd want to "do time"... LOL I have managed to find 2 small oldish bottles which I found in a caved in root cellar but, other than that, nothing. I would love to be able to go on a proper mud lark and my favorite find, is nothing pretentious, merely a large stoneware jam jar/kitchen utensil jar such as the two toned one you found in your latest upload. Yeah, an old coin would be nice but, knowing me, I'd most likely loose it... 😂
its bad that they dont let you use a metal detecter or dig what a shame. we have found a few full jam jars we dont keep them we put them on our ko-fi shop they are great for utensils i agre .

Love that pitcher from the Arts & crafts movement. So cheerful. Finding lots of great treasures. Arts & Crafts movement was from 1853-1907. Art Deco 1919-1939. I once had a friend who loved Art Deco. I found him a cane that folded into a 3-legged seat. He gave it to someone because it was from the end of Art Deco. Art Nouveau period was from 1890-1914. There were a few other movements in between some of these. Dada 1915-1920. Surrealism 1924-1966. The last two were used in paintings.
Awesome day in the dump!! The vase is gorgeous, and the Santa is so cool. Hate I missed the live. I'd love to see both of y'alls collections. I would like to find a medieval coin, a torpedo bottle or ginger beer. Take care, you two, and have a great weekend!
