Please don’t worry about whether or not you should show what you’re working on. I find everything y’all do interesting and watch every episode you publish. You’re my favorite channel 💕
Hahahah Cat in a Pot at 5:50 🤣 Laughed so hard... no head or body, just a rear end and a tail. Cat on a pole at 8:37 I love that he makes an appearance in almost every video. And a Benjamin cameo 😊 He is so cute..... Everything looks great all organized and spiffed up - that is always such a great feeling
I wonder what “tired Laura” looks like 🤔 in my 5 years of watching this channel I don’t think I’ve ever seen her. 🤣 Even while pregnant, she wasn’t tired, she was inconvenienced to not be able to bend down or do heavy lifting as much. She’s the real life energizer bunny! 💪🏽
I’m trying to analyze what it is about GA that we all love so much, and I think I hit on it today! It’s your complete lack of stress that is so encouraging. All those plants sitting there I would have been panicking and stressing and not enjoying. But you just relax and take it easy and know that you have confidence in your own ability to winter them over, and if not you still don’t choose stress. That is such an encouragement to me to keep on gardening.
It’s an all around stress reliever for me... there is so much negativity around GA has none of that. Not to mention the quality of the videos, sound, content, filming, the whole family it’s just a really nice place to visit. Laura could film paint drying and I would watch!
That's because we don't have space to overwinter plants and we bought them with our precious dollars so can't afford to lose a one. I was panicked several weeks ago trying to get several shrubs and perennials planted before winter. Now I can leisurely take my time cleaning up spent flowers, mainly due to our unusually slow approach to winter this year. I can't wait until next year to see my shrubs grow. Blueberries, 'Bloomstruck' hydrangeas, grasses and perennials.
when I hurt from working a long day in the garden, the next day I veg all day on the couch... Laura spends the next day working all the harder... I guess that's the difference between being 30 something and being 70 something... but, thanks so much for bringing back my lifelong joy in gardening - I was truly missing it!!!
It is so hard when the body doesn’t want to cooperate with our plans. My mind keeps telling me I’m 30, but the candles tell me I’m 60 something. Kudos to you for getting out there!
I'm helping my daughter with new landscaping at her home. While at a local nursery, I HAD to check out the clearance. I managed to pick up 12 hostas for $3.75 each.....winner, winner, chicken dinner!!! She has a large shaded area and they hardly made a dent but man I couldn't pass that deal up.
🧡🍂Good morning to all. It’s so great to see the Laura and Russell and Cheddar organizing the plants and pots. But first, coffee. Enjoy a safe and happy day everyone 🤗🍁🦃
It looked so good! You are such a rockstar!! You always think “oh they won’t want to watch this” but we do!! I don’t know this stuff, so anything you show is a learning lesson for me. Thank you for sharing and opening my eyes to the things to do! Also, side note, the arbs look AMAZING!!
That feeling when you could landscape your whole yard with just the perennials Laura is over wintering 🤣🤣🤣 that’s city life for you though! Thanks for showing us your stash. The plants look so lush all snuggled up for winter.
I find it fun to watch Laura do things I’ve been needing to do for years. Gives me motivation to get moving on these projects. Thanks for the inspiration to actually get them done.
No matter what the specific thing(s) being organized, I love seeing the before and after. I find it motivating to get my own mess straightened up, so thank you for that! ♥️
So inspirational! I need to get my organization groove on. Did anyone else realize Benjamin did the math of 3x5? "It's 15 feet tall" your kid is brilliant Laura 😃🥰🙏
Laura you cleaned house today and it looks soooo good! I also love the fact that you show the realism of gardening and that everything is not always in its place just yet. I learned a lot about the winter over of plants today, and truly feel confident now, so when I catch those deals I can do the same without driving myself crazy for a season of where the plant should go. Your space is amazing, and ready to learn more. Thanks for sharing your gardening world.
How long did it take you to do clean up? That was a lot! Benjamin 😊 is getting to be very knowledgeable. I see him imitating you and Aaron and think it is so sweet.it truly is a pleasure to watch your channel as it sets a positive note for the day. Thank you both.
Great job Benjamin!!!! He’s totally ready for Benjamin-taking-the-reins Fridays! Haha could you imagine the cuteness of seeing Benjamin taking over the camera for an entire episode.
Always a pleasure. Doesn’t mater what you do. I have kidney failure and am limited to working small amounts of time. I was always in my garden from sun up to dusk. I miss it so much. I love watching you and the family plant and grow beautiful flowers and a cute little girl and boy.❤️❤️❤️ Organizing is part of the process. Love seeing it.
Keep on noticing how big Benjamin is growing! I love how you and Aaron never talk down to him and ask him his opinions, and let him know that he is being heard🤗 Thank you for sharing your love of gardening, decorating, cooking, and your beautiful family with us❤️
Your channel is the MOST consistent with adding in snapshots or updates while you’re talking about a certain topics. I love that! Like the topiaries, I really wanted to know what cheap was and when I saw, $39.99 I got my answer! So many good things about your channel, this is just one small part!
Timely video. Thanks for sharing your ideas on overwintering. That's exactly what I am doing this week end. Your energy is infectious and goes through this channel. 🤣🤣🤣
I learned what my marigolds need that I planted from seed. Thanks for the info. You never know the tidbits of information you provide for your viewers. Also inspiring to "button-up" a few projects of my own.
I have to say, and hope I dont sound like a total weirdo, I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!! I truly enjoy watching, you all are such an inspiration. I have done so much to my yard because of you, my neighbors tell me all the time how beautiful my yard is and its all because of you all. Thank you for all you do!! Ps, you could post about anything, and we GA fans would be here watching every second.
I, like most viewers of GA, love every video for different reasons. These chore-type organizing videos, however, are some of the most satisfying. There's nothing like living vicariously through a screen to feel satisfied with work that isn't yours! 😅 Thank you for sharing!
Good morning, Laura ☕️ Great job. There’s something so satisfying about a button-uped project. 🙌🏻 Thanks for the over wintering tips! Have a Blessed Day 😊🐈
There is something so energizing about getting everything sorted out and organized. It changes the energy of the area. I like to think it’s because the plants feel cared for as they settle in for a winter’s nap.
I got here earlier than usual! It’s so nice to see your videos so promptly ever day. It makes my day start off on a bright and positive note! And seeing your beautiful garden is so cheerful! All the beautiful plants in containers. Looks like an extension of the garden center. 💚💚💚
I love trying to catch the cats exploring and enjoying their day in the background! A cute little orange butt appears out of a pot at 5:20 and I grew the biggest grin! ❤️🐈
I just love them. I remember her plan to have them and then the planting of them- it was so exciting to think about them growing and getting bigger & it seems like it was yesterday, doesn’t it?
Personally, I appreciate the organizing, decorating, and planning videos just as much as the planting ones! It's all a part of the process! Looks great!
I love to watch everything you do. When I got old and not able to move anymore it is so nice to watch you doing all the things I used to do. Helps me not miss it so much. Thank you.
Fun video, I love when I get projects like that done. My favorite part was in the beginning as Laura was talking the cat was behind her upside down in the flower pot😂.
You hit the mark again this morning. I am trying to figure out what I can still get into the ground and how I can winter over the remainder in their nursery pots. Thanks for the tip on the bags of soil. I usually cover them with leaves, but the bags of soil around the edges of my hoard will surely help things survive the winter! We have a stretch of warm days, too, so I will be cleaning, organizing and putting things to bed for the winter as well as planting bulbs! Thanks for keeping me on task once again!
Organazation is not my strong suit, so it is great to have someone actually show me how it’s done. Every thing y’all do is important! Thank you for teaching us.
Laura, it seriously doesn’t matter if it’s your “normal” thing. I think I speak for everyone when I say we like watching anything you do. It’s somehow super motivating even when it’s just organizing things! 💙💙
We got our first frost last night here where I live with lows in the upper 20’s for the next few days (that’s like -2°C) so my weekend is going to be in cleanup mode. I have an entire mailbox covered in morning glories to disentangle. It’s nice to see those little buttoning up for the winter types of chores. It’s part of the seasonal rhythm of gardening because without winter there is no spring.
I really love these videos, for a beginner like me, and a visual learner, they show me when I should do the fall cleanup, they encourage me to take out whatever I didn’t like 😅 in the previous season. Most importantly, they motivate me to get outside and saviour the last bit of not-so-cold days. So thanks, Laura!
Laura you are my kind of girl! Nothing better than a good clean up and organizing day!!! It sure helps to see things clearly and begin the dreaming of next year's garden.
Watched first thing this morning, as usual. I don't believe it at all that you speed up the tape. I think you are just using your super powers!!! You mention that outside pots need to be watered...even if there's snow on them or if they're frozen? LOVED watching Cheddar growing out of the pot. You are a true inspiration. (My husband is getting sick of hearing about what Laura is doing.)
No - Laura is speaking from her experience in her climate. If you’re in a cold zone that stays frozen all winter, you do not need to water. If you’re in a zone that gets regular snows that melt before the next snowfall, you do not need to water (unless it’s an exceptionally dry and mild winter). If you’re in a zone that gets periodic rain, you do not need to water (again, unless it’s an exceptionally dry winter). As long as they’re getting some kind of moisture every 4-6 weeks they’re fine.
Loved this, very satisfying. Question; might you store some of your large pots in the greenhouse underneath the tables? That way they’d be accessible late winter, early spring to plant up in preparation to move out for display…a bit more protection for them as well.
Good Morning!!! Watching how you cleaned up around the greenhouse and moved the tables around had my back hurting for you. It does look so much better, I couldn’t imagine having to worry about a plant inventory like yours. Love these early videos!!
It’s always so satisfying to see an area you enjoy working or being in, cleaned and tidied up. I joke with my brother that until my lawns are mowed and my shop is swept and tidy- I can think straight. I need the calm of order before I can start a new project. Oh and a cup of coffee. Lol
The idea of organizing, cleaning and buttoning up at the end of the season seems such a daunting task but is so satisfying in the end. Love how everything looks so tidy and attended to. Never worry about whether these videos are appreciated Laura! They are actually incredibly motivating and inspiring! My husband has been working long hours on a project at work so I’ve had to manage all the inside and outside work this Fall myself. So as the week is coming to an end, I’ve been feeling tired and run down but now feel a renewed sense of “I need to get this done before the snow flies!” and feel motivated to just power through! Thank you for that Laura! You are a treasure!
I stumbled upon your channel about a month ago and have not been able to stop consuming your videos. I don’t have anywhere near the amount of yard to play with that you do but I’m so inspired to make the most of what I have. Thank you! I’m a fan!
Love St. John's wort for floral arrangements! We still haven't gotten a killing frost in our part of Ohio yet. I still have 300 dahlias to dig and 3000 bulbs to plant! But I've done all my other garden clean up, weeding, etc in preparation for bulb planting next week. We're in Montana this week.😄
Loved this video!!! If I had all those plants waiting for me, I'd be like "look at all those plants I've got to plant" (insert sigh) and "look at all those plants I've got to plant" (insert excitement). You are a working warrior woman!!!
It’s so satisfying to watch someone who’s actually good at organizing. Whenever I try to organize anything I end up making more of a mess. I can’t believe how much you get done in a short time. Thanks for continuing to inspire us!
So satisfying watching you organise, Laura. Gives me the confidence to tackle stuff in my own garden which otherwise will get neglected due to my procrastination. Where I live ,it is going to be Summer very soon. Looking forward to lush growth. I have mild wet winter so no winter overing plants or tidy the garden. Plants just go dormant but will still look good. I cannot imagine the amount of work to be done during fall in preparation for winter. I learn from every video of yours. Keep it coming. :)
Us "I'm quite sore after drilling hundreds of 9in auger holes yesterday" = Today I'll sit and watch TV Laura "I'm quite sore after drilling hundreds of 9in auger holes yesterday" = So today I'll move a ton of plants, lift concrete blocks, manhandle a few tables, rake and rearrange the greenhouse!! I'm aching and exhausted just watching you!! Love from North Wales UK
Nothings better than getting organized in the fall. Russell wants to be a topiary. Replay and watch Russell land in your pot and pose. Super cute. Hey want to ask you were you going to decorate your church again this year? Many blessings and thank you for sharing your family with us. God bless
Good morning Laura! Watching you organizing all your plants and greenhouse was so great. It’s like watching one of those organizing channels where they declutter and reorganize their pantries. Looks so clean and put together!!
I am new to 'The Garden Answer'. I have been trying to landscape a blank property & trying to start a small flower farm so, I've been almost obsessively searching RUclips for advice. Your channel is by far the BEST channel I've seen. I hope you're really proud of what you're doing because it's awesome!! Thanks for all the info & inspiration.
I am so excited because I asked for this greenhouse organizing video. I love organizing especially when it isn’t my stuff. I am can’t wait to see the greenhouse over the winter. I loved the potted cat tail at 23:40! 🐈
Hi Laura! You are such an inspiration to me. You are the reason I have success in my garden. My daughter just adores you! And we adore your family! God bless!
What did you just say? I was watching the cat take a potty break behind you about 6:11. He's so entertaining. It's somehow comforting to watch people organize.
I watch your channel no matter what your project or activity is each day. I always learn and appreciate your generosity in sharing your knowledge . . also love the fun times you share with all your family! Thanks a bunch!
You are an amazingly hard-working woman! I would be overwhelmed with this project facing me; you not only take it in stride, you make it look easy! You definitely have earned and deserve all the good things that come your way!
I laughed when your cat, Cheddar or Russell (I couldn't tell which one) was in the background playing in your pretty urn!!! He is such a funny & loving cat! You sure are a hard worker Laura ... and Benjamin is a great little helper! I love everything you do!
I love these kinds of videos…showing organizing and cleanup! That’s such a big part of keeping a yard/garden looking nice. And I think it’s fun! Thanks for sharing your process. There’s always stuff to learn!
I was kicking myself for putting everything in the greenhouse 3 weeks early. It makes for lots of watering. Then we had horrid winds and 3 days of rain. Back to being glad I started early. I would not have been able to lift things water logged. Still a few to go but almost done. Expecting our first frost or close to it, tonight, I think. Then back to 70's. Still glad I started early. Everything looks beautiful at your house. I love every video you post. Looking forward to 'spending' the winter with you and your family. Many of us living vicariously through you. 😉💜
All tucked in for a long winters nap! Hope it goes by quick and we can get back at it all!! 😄♥️ “& the years just flow by like a broken down dam” J. Prine ♥️
Please don’t worry about whether or not you should show what you’re working on. I find everything y’all do interesting and watch every episode you publish. You’re my favorite channel 💕
I am really loving the Cheddar thriller and spiller you had planted in that beautiful concrete pot! 🤣🥰🐈
Probably my favorite part, too! Kept rewinding the video to rewatch
Yes! Hilarious! Around the 6 minute mark 🤣
So funny!!
I wasn’t even paying attention to what Laura was saying. I just kept watching Cheddar and wondering what he thought was so interesting.
Cheddar may have found his new favorite litter box.
Thanks for the time stamps! Russell is by far my favorite Easter egg to find and I saw him on the pole but didn't see him in the pot😻
The funniest part about Russell was that Laura had no idea he was back there mooning us!🤣😳
@@kelleywright486 Right?? I keep going back and watching it, sitting here by myself with my coffee laughing my head off.

Isn’t it amazing how spaces just swallow up plants 🌱 🙈
But what a lovely thing to do with your daughter! Enjoy!
When amazing things like that happen I just have to think it’s God’s way of showing us His love for us specifically.
Good girl on your shopping deals!!!

we changed to wintertime here in Germany/Europe ....so i can enjoy your videos an hour earlier than usually 💃💃💃💃🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
What a lovely Russel plant you have in that basket weave container! It seems to be really flourishing this time of year. 😂

Love these videos, keep-’em coming!
Watching Laura organizing in this video is like plant smr for me!
Oh my!! Benjamin smelling the gladiolus was so funny!! He tried very hard to get some smell out of it! 😂❤️
Us "I'm quite sore after drilling hundreds of 9in auger holes yesterday" = Today I'll sit and watch TV
Laura "I'm quite sore after drilling hundreds of 9in auger holes yesterday" = So today I'll move a ton of plants, lift concrete blocks, manhandle a few tables, rake and rearrange the greenhouse!!
God bless
What's the time stamp for that?
Laura is growing a “cat tail”. Lol

Wow! My home needs a Laura. Everything looks so neat and organized. Ready for another season.
Organizational videos are so interesting. And of course a visit from Benjamin is always a treat.
First ever real clear how to winter plants over with visual...after years of not understanding, I get it!
There's Russell first thing....love that cat !
You are an inspiration to tackle those less than thrilling tasks. And yet the end result is satisfying!
Laura you are so hardworking and really make everything more beautiful!
I watch your channel no matter what your project or activity is each day. I always learn and appreciate your generosity in sharing your knowledge . . also love the fun times you share with all your family! Thanks a bunch!
Good morning! 🌻🐝
Dang Laura! Yer such a BOSS!! I wish I could clean my house like you handle your chores.
This greenhouse conversion is going to be so useful to you guys. Good you are able to organize and get ready for winter!
Soooo many plants, but so much landscape to design. Glad you have a space to overwinter.
I love these kinds of videos…showing organizing and cleanup! That’s such a big part of keeping a yard/garden looking nice. And I think it’s fun! Thanks for sharing your process. There’s always stuff to learn!
It's so great that a gardener have a green house praying that someday I can have also thank you for showing I'm a new friend here few days ago
I’m glad to see that you also need to reorganize the plants and areas now and then.
Watching you organize is so satisfying since I am an organizational neat freak! I’m sure it feels great to check this task off your list.
Hi Pam how are you doing?
All tucked in for a long winters nap! Hope it goes by quick and we can get back at it all!! 😄♥️ “& the years just flow by like a broken down dam” J. Prine ♥️
The topiary tree would look super cute with the little string lights in the Hartley
Love when your kitties join you😃Not sure what you said from 5:30-6:30 kitty was in a pot 🤣
