Just just saying man, you’re gna rub with those specs in the canyons. Either gna have to raise the car or swap out those wheels with 17x9 235/40 (most common specs for the 8th gen community)

I have an 8th gen with cosmis mr7’s that are 18x9 +25 and I only rub goin up driveways
My buddy is on 18x9.5 235/40 and he tracks his fg2

Dustin, buddy, if you were serious about this car being good on handling you'll camber the front of the car to negative 1.8-2.0 degrees and in the rear 0.00 degrees. Max grip for the back because its a front wheel drive car. If you plan on keeping it more stance and just cruising and not doing track days then the lower arms will work.
i get what you're saying but plenty of race cars had camber (and yes i mean more than 2 degrees)

If this civic's goal was to be a canyon car, would it have more performance oriented specs, like smaller wheels for less unsprung weight, bigger tires for grip, and not be overly concerned with fitment?

No bro you are right. The back tyres should have 0.00 degrees of camber because that's where the most grip occurs. The front will need 1.8-2.0 negative degrees of camber. The front suspension should be stiffer than the back so the back rolls. He said its for autocross but this car is skipping that and going straight for stance.

I’ve always run skunk 2 camber arms on my 8th gen and never had any issues with them. They’ll give you plenty of adjustability for what you need. I was able to get mine to -12 just removing the locking rings

Rear camber kit, adjustable front ball joint if not arms as well. Wilwood front brake kit, supercharger, stage 3 clutch, hondata tune and exhaust. If it was my whip. Definitely loving the new wheels.

I’ve got an 8th gen sedan, but if I had yours I’d probably look into some retrofit headlights, flashpro, and then the carbon hood vents would look awesome against the blue

Stock mugen are 18x7.5 with 225/40/18. Looks better with the mugen wheels imo 🤷🏼♂️
Me personally if this was my car, suspension wise... 10k front spring rates. 14k rear. 25mm rear sway bar. Stock front bar. Camber ball joints and plates maximizing at -3 up front with hardrace rear camber arms at -2 in the back. 255 40 tires up front and a 225-45 or 235 45 rear.
i would check out SPC rear camber arms, they are a good quality and they are a huge name in the Honda community. I run them on my DC5 and no complaints
1.) Add a better and louder exhaust 2.) More aggressive rear 3.) little more power

Could also be that grey 2017 nsx that west coast exotics just recently sold they have only sold 2 r35's recently and their colors dont really match for the blue to be much of an option imo but they would sick on the nsx plus he said he had to search for months for this car and r35's arent that uncommon, where as an nsx is that's what I'm leaning towards

Great wheel choice and specs I’m running same 18x9.5 with +22 offset on my fg2 but got 215/35 tires i don’t rub at all with camber and rolled fenders
i love the wheels but for gods sake please go down to a 17, i have an Si and 18's just don't work, 17's are no headache when it comes to fitting them on the car and they're better for the track/canyon. Anyways love the build regardless, I wanna see a track day or canyon run soon in this thing!
