financing wheels is a terrible idea. it's only mentioned here as being 'recommended' because it benefits their company. save your money and buy the wheels cash.
How do they repo wheels if someone stops paying?
Let’s say The person financing has good credit and gets 0% apr does that still not benefit the buyer?
If you can't afford to buy it cash, don't finance it, easy as that. And if opportunity cost needs to be mentioned as an argument in this discussion, then the person can't afford it. It's a set of wheels, not a full on car or house. Simple as that.
Hey buddy, I'm just saying you have no idea how the credit system works if that's what your end opinion is. Even with a small percentage of interest if you don't mind the end term extra cash spent financing wheels can easily boost low credit. Just saying, if you can't afford it and actually know how to run numbers, it's not terrible. They suggest it as well because you may not be able to afford the wheels you realllly want. I work at a garage and they send their wheels in great condition, never damaged, and they use painted weights when they can. Mounted balanced, shipped and installed it's often cheaper to run through fitments financing then through my store straight up. Hope the advice isn't considered hostile, but I like helping people love their cars.

Just wanted to say: 17x8 et18 is the perfect meaty fitment for a bmw e46 when running semi slicks for meaty summer tires where you can run lowering springs without rolling the fenders

My process is find a general idea of fitment , i figured out 15x8 with 35 offset is what works , (25 on some wheels) my front end just uses 5 mm spacers I used 25 offset wheels with a flatter face then I thought but one of the wheels I like a lot for certain cars is the black on black av19’s from avid one they’re extremely light for the size , wheel and tire weighs less then the stock rim standalone , but I’m also using a light car so not as much stress on the wheels

I’m interested in the Vossen HF-5 wheels either 19”-20” rim. Which one would look better? I have very simplistic wheel tastes. Not a fan of the complex directional stuff. Function over form type guy. Imo good function creates good form.
You don’t need to spend 600 or more for tires unless you track your car. I have under 100 dollar per tire on my car and they are actually fantastic. They are uhp all seasons with a 189 mph speed rating, Super grippy and quiet.
But.. but.. race car…
Tbf just do some research on lower end quality options and pick one

OEM look FOR ME, hate rolling quarters and fenders.
That's why you get the right size
@@ja195 I go as wide as possible without fender rolling. Nothing against staggered cambered wheels. Everyone has they're prefence and fitment industries is the perfect one stop shop for wheels etc.
Rolling fenders is easy as hell and you can rent the tool or borrow from a friend.

i have a question. i got 17x7 5×114.3 ET52.5 wheels on my ride. i d like to change them for some 17x7 5x114.3 ET 45. I know that because of this offset my wheels would stick more out of the car, would i mess up the stability of the car? or is it harmless?
