My channel is about September 11th 2001 and before happened the event. I recorded what happened those days, from Twin Towers Collaped, people singing, Hospital, Empty Streets etc... I have a lot of material too, about image twin towers in 1999 and fly over manhattan too, during the evening. I recorded September 10-2001, because to me was really impresive the rain that day, and storms, (it was a really bad day) and never thought it will be worst the next day on 9-11-2001. shocking to me and for everybody who were there on that horrific day
    * May my 9/11 videos awakens people around the world for what's not right to do and condemn all kind of violence in any of it expressions. God Bless the victims and families who lost their loved ones on 9/11.

I've never seen the Twin Towers in person, so I cannot register their size or height.
However, I've seen probably well into a thousand photos of the Twins...
    My God, they were beautiful.
You are extremely lucky to have not only seen them, but to have gone inside them.
I can't get over their magnificence.
I nearly lost my honorary uncle in World Trade Center 1--he worked for Dai Ichi Kyango on floor 50.
He left the building mere seconds before it came down.
I wish I were lucky enough to see the Twins.
    I'm not.
    You are.

Hello Emperor, If you watch all videos on RUclips, it's like putting together a mosaic of what it was like except for 1thing. You can here a buzzing noise on the sound track of all videos filmed on the outdoor observation platform of Tower 2. It wasn't like that. The Towers were so tall, it was completely silent up there. I can't believe that place, where I was 2years before, no longer exists. They were as magnificent as you might imagine

@@AndresBarrila The tallest building I have been in and looked straight up at is Devon Tower in OKC. That building is 50 stories and 844 feet tall and I went to the Vast Restaurant on the 49th floor and was 725 feet high. I had a beautiful dinner and the view was spectacular. That tower was gigantic to me and it hurt my neck looking up at it. The Twin Towers were 110 stories and over 1360 feet tall.

Out of all the deaths on 9/11 there is something so much more disturbing (in my opinion) about the deaths on windows on the world restaurant.
I love going out for breakfast. There is something so juxtaposed about the happiness of a simple breakfast, going out with friends and family, just enjoying a meal on a beautiful morning. And then suddenly...
I sometimes think "what about the people there who just randomly decided to eat there that day?" They could have saved their life with something so simply as choosing a different breakfast location or eating at home. Something about it haunted me and I tried to find the names of customers who died that day, simply because of choice of meal. The ones who worked on a lower level, who would have otherwise lived but died due to a simple and seemingly irrelevant decision. One woman, Karen Lynn Seymour, normally worked on a lower floor. She decided to go that morning because she was interested in a conference occurring up there. Her boss told her it was a waste of time, that those conferences were "informericals". She went anyways.
I think of tourists and others who could have literally chosen anywhere else to eat. I imagine myself, my husband and daughter enjoying coffee and pancakes on the table. Then I imagine realizing my whole family will die because of such a random choice. People having fun and laughing on what was said to be one of the most beautiful mornings. Only to be met with the realization that they would die. After South tower fell, they probably knew nobody was coming for them. Imagine just waiting 20 minutes to die, simply because of where you chose to eat. Terrifying. Imagine the guilt and anger of those who ran the conference, knowing that they had indirectly doomed so many.
What a terrible way to die.... to have a normal healthy life and suddenly in the span of a few hour grow ever more aware of your impending mortality.

This video is so refreshing to see. The laughter and merriment you can hear in the restaurant is so wholesome. This is exactly how I like to remember those buildings. Even though I was only 9 when they were destroyed I’ve spent my entire time since fascinated with them. I visited the site in 2016 from the uk and it was an amazing experience and toured the interior of the new tower twice and it was stunning. The whole time wondering to my self if the new experience of OWO did justice to what once was.

Wonderful video. I was lucky to get to go to NYC with my now wife in the late 90s. We took a bus down for the first time in 1996 and what a sight those towers were over the hill from the New Jersey turnpike. The real NYC.

If it's not a bother could I ask a few questions? It's for research for a story I am writing. I was born in 1999 in Spain, so I never got the chance to visit these beautiful towers and there are a few things I am curious about and can't find anywhere.
First, do you remember what the waiters and waitresses' uniforms were like at Windows on the World?
And second, I can't see very well the elevators. Where they all metallic like the panel you were focusing? Or did they have mirrors?
Thank you if you read this and answer, it would be a great help :)
