I honestly think they get too much of a bad rep.
You know what you're getting into and know why you watch them.
It's why people have been able to follow those shows for so long.
But to each there own.

Tbf i've never been a fan of phase being called the "sad girl company". We like it when these girls are crazy, but not sad. If pippa ever shoots up a walmart i want her to have a smile on her face.

She's been pretty sad on stream a bunch of times, but you just look at older VODs and now and she's clearly trending to a more joyful attitude and like she feels more fulfilled.
I don't think of the "sad girls company" as in a literal meaning of girls being sad. They are just a bit deffective here and there, unfixable probably too. I can't imagine them being so free in big corpos. But they seem to be happy together in their fish tank. Just don't put your hand in it.

@@DeReAntiqua that's not quite it. To put it another way, say I am the star salesman at a retail company. I earn the bonuses, and kill it with the clients. But for one reason or another, I am forced to leave that company, and switch over to a rival company.
Instead of having those business relationships I built prior, I start from the ground and have to rebuild everything. My coworkers may see me as a threat, because of my prior history of success at the other company. My bosses may levy a higher demand on me simply because of that prior history. So, everything is several levels more difficult than when I started at the other company. Sure, some of my customers may follow me, but not all. Sure, I built up those skills which allowed me to succeed. Yet, I still am stuck at that starting line all over again.
@@youngthinker1 Depending on the product you sell costumers usually have more loyalty to a good salesman/representative than they have to a brand name, especially if the rest of the company is less competent. No personal experience but some relatives of mine that are into "corporate culture" managed to keep a great portion of their costumer base IN SPITE of their former employers' big brand name because they were competent and managed to cover the costumer in cases of corporate fuckups.
@@DeReAntiqua Yes, he is still stuck at the starting line. New business, new codes to follow, and new relationships to build, will change what he can and cannot do.
One company may allow him to do lunch with clients on company's dime. The next tells him no, and he would have to pay for it, or it is illegal and he will be fired for trying. Happens all the time from my own experience with moving around to different companies.
Sure when I did it as an IT guy, I did receive higher pay as compensation, but the company had different technology, different rules, and more importantly, different management. Means I had to start from scratch, again, to build up to that expertise level I held at my prior companies.
As for board members, and the like, yeah, that is a special case of incest. Many boards end up sharing members or relatives of members, so many fingers in different pies in different organizations. Outside of this specific case, everything starts over again.
New academic with popular support ends up at a new college, then you can bet the existing power structures will want to put him in his place.
Have you dealt with unions before? Because every part of Western entertainment is infested with unions, which makes any sort of change difficult at best.
Even middle level management men tend to have to start over, or else they screw up the business. I keep hearing that leadership qualities transfer over, so a Captain of soldiers ought to be able to manage a department for a company, but that rarely happens effectively anymore. Instead, new management enters, breaks things, blames his underlings, and costs the company a huge amount of money to fix. Otherwise, he starts from scratch learning his new company and how his role as a manager will differ.
When you have a family or family member that forces you to emotionally detach yourself from them is totally normal to feel like other people are more family than your own.
It happens a lot.

Having a job you enjoy, in a place you enjoy, with people you enjoy and that pays the bills enough that you aren't in need of more money to survive is something that is literally priceless.
