Dizzy at first did vote against Pippa which made sense.
Pippa was really a huge risk but she is extremely greatful to Sakana for giving her a chance and keeps doing her best because she feels that she owes Sakana at least that much.
Hiring Pippa was a risk that ultimately paid off and with Muumi's support is able to get far.
Dizzy has admitted that Pippa proved her wrong but Pippa also admitted that she knew that she was a huge risk.
Pippa bullies Sakana but she won't let him down.
(Plus let's face it, if she was at hololive Pippa wouldn't have been happy as she is now.)

She had like a collab fucking overdose not that long ago, doing collabs almost every day, sometimes several times a day, even with totally random people (on their channels, so you might not have seen it). Let her calm down a bit lol, I was afraid she was going to seriously burn out and lose it, she was clearly pushing herself intentionally to practice. She's doing fine with collabs now, she's actually gotten pretty good, way way better than two years ago.

When I first heard of Pippa I'd assumed she was independent. I was floored that any company found her to be brand safe.

Sakana strikes me as an extremely pragmatic and ultimately effective CEO. He finds out his company is struggling due to talent issues? He comes to terms that he can’t handle the girls himself and hires somebody with experience that can. Most of what a great CEO/president is being able to delegate basically everything in the company but still hold delegates accountable to ethical and performance standards.

Nijisanji has way less of the corporate restrictions and supervision that Holopro has, and Nijisanji has something on fire constantly BECAUSE a lack of restrictions or supervision led to someone doing something they shouldn't have. It's bad for both the streamer AND for the company. And yeah, the restrictions do, to some extent, stifle some creative freedom, but I think it's honestly better to err on the side of caution if someone could get hurt

I think Pippa would have been miserable in Hololive the same way Kson was when she was Coco. There’s a ton of pressure to perform when it comes to the Hololive brand. The talents there stream a variety of content, pack their schedules with sponsor events, collabs, singing and dance training, hold/participate in concerts, plan and execute major projects like festivals… it can be crushingly difficult and stifling. There’s a reason indies, small agencies and Vshojo tout creative freedom

I remember her Backrooms collab with the other Phase girls.
Half way through, Pippa goes all quiet 'gamer mode' while all the other girls are running around and screaming. I remember thinking to myself, "is she mad? Is she annoyed?" If she was or not, it don't matter any more. She's absolutely been a lot better these days, and even takes charge sometimes. Her character development makes me happy~

To each their own. Phase gives a lot more creative freedom than HoloLive and that's fine. I think that HL being more strict with their brand ends up pushing the girls to making higher tier quality content, as example, the idol show collabs. On the other hand, Phase is the house of schizos like Pippa, who can be their weird gremlin selves.
Some VTubers work best in the HL framework, others in PC, some will go to VShojo, and some work best as indies. Regardless of choice, I'm glad we can appreciate their content
Sakana is the schizophrenic’s Yagoo. I think PC is like the brutal internet version of HL. Everything else kinda feels like trying to not look like they’re copying notes.
It’s more like Sakana looked at what Hololive does right for the western audience, and then what they do wrong for the western audience (idol culture) and made a group that was much better for the west.

I just don't have a hobby that leads towards any social interaction either, and manage to put those thoughts in a box if I'm operating at an acquaintance level. Short interactions let me focus on the immediate. Repeated or prolonged interactions... tend to drive me insane.
