Man, a friend of mine finally got his, and as G Ranks are always scaled to max players, he uses it and we just go high Greatsword DPS as he stun/sleep/stuns/KOs/traps the damn thing. It made farming deviants such as Silverwind MUCH easier. I've never landed so many Valor Charges without missing in my life. Blessed be God's Isle.

I became a LBG main in GU. A funny thing was that, as I was still learning how to play using the gun, I somehow got God's Isle very early in my MHGU playthrough. So I had the best gun in the game without even knowing it. 😅
I do recommend trying to get all worn weapons from ancient shards because when worn weapons are upgraded, they produce decent weapons. God's isle is a good status light bowgun to have that is also obtainable from ancient shards which you can use to charm farm or generally just keep a monster in place, so I highly recommend that. That being said, ancient shards rarely drop from mining or doing quests that has a chance to drop ancient shards so it would be hard for you to obtain worn weapons immediately. Just keep playing and you will eventually obtain worn weapons. Also, thanks for watching my video. I have watched some of your videos before and they are entertaining. Keep up the good work!
I remember my days playing the 3DS version of MH Gen. If I'm not jumping around on my IG, I'm essentially a Support Player with this weapon. Asking the others to bring Large Barrel Bombs while I keep the target at bay with Paralyze and Sleep. I really wished this thing was in Rise or even the upcoming Sun Break. I just love this gun so much!

God's Isle is a really good status LBG so definitely try it out when you have time. It's used to keep Brachydios in place in charm farming or generally to keep any monster in place for a certain amount of time in any hunt.

God damnit... I have all the other Rust Shard and Ancient Shard weapons, polished them and everything, and I still can't get God's Isle. It's the last one I need. (Although I do wanna get another Worn Bow just to test something I heard about ...)

The only worn weapon I used was the gun lance sold that gun because I thought it was useless....welp anyway only used the tigrex lbg. Wonder if I am missing on something.
Maybe I will use it but canon is just sooo hmhmhm to use on monster idk maybe, maybe I will farm for it..but i already got sleep build with the great sword and paralyse with the lance. Quite the decision I have to think about in the future.
God's Isle and Demon's Isle are both status light bowguns, but God's isle is better than Demon's isle because God's isle has more internal ammo, 20 more raw damage than Demon's Isle, has very fast reload speed, and is able to fire level 2 status bullets.

Yes, you can chain CC monsters and make some really hard fights significantly easier and 1 is required for the best charm farm in MHGU (the brachydios dlc quest). The way it's done is Sleep -> shock -> Para -> pitfall -> craig for KO and you can make more ammo and traps and repeat this chain 1 more time if needed then you can focus on damage. It's free damage and the execution isn't terrible difficult - I bring it to hunts that I know have a high chance of people carting, like deviljho
It's more of luck that gives you the chance of acquiring God's Isle rather than it being hard to get. Just keep playing and hope for a chance that you will acquire God's Isle. It took me a while to get God's Isle, but I was able to get the chance of acquiring God's Isle after a lot of mhgu gameplay.

I had that with my golden rathian gunner armor as a final set for hard hunts and boy does that thing get the job done

Don’t forget you can get a KO with triblast ammo.
I actually never used triblast ammo to KO monsters because I was always using level 3 crag. Thanks for the tip.
