Not using it does mean not getting as much Critical Eye as possible, but that's not so important if you aren't speedrunning. You can use an Armor Set Searcher to find comparable sets. Just slot in the skills you want, and either input talismans you have or let it find talismans that work so you have goals for farming (don't try for God charms).

Valor is supposed to give you a tiny bit more s than standard when charged. Its not enough to evade some multi hit attacks usually or long roars even if you have god timing.

Mhw feels like it has better s and many monster's attacks are much swifter in world so dodging is easier in world my dude. Maybe the world s are the same but the tv screen makes it easier to dodge, but either way world dodging is much easier. I can personally attest as I've been trying to teach myself to dodge in the older games for a couple months now.
