A simple morality play, but executed expertly. Both actors did quite well. The woman gets extra props for not even flinching a little as the mascara brush gets close to her eyes... :)

Your dead chicken analogy is flawed, because he wouldn't be arrested for rape, he'd be arrested for desecrating a corpse. However, within the story, it's possible that she wasn't really dead, in which case, consent would still apply. Yet another possibility is that the guy has some feeling of guilt for his actions, and is imagining all of it. Ultimately, it's just a story. You don't have to accept the writer's point of view...
This made me feel so uneasy at first. Something about staring into the eyes of a dead person really disturbs me, and this horror film did a fantastic job of pushing that with her lifeless eyes. I half-expected them to suddenly blink.

You would be suprised what Morticans have been caught doing. My brother worked security for a corners office in Brazil. He said there were 3 different men who were fired for impromplery handling a corpse which in reality is just what they say so they don't have to call the police and get bad news coverage for some one doing something nasty to a corpse. And plus a good majority of these guys were the weird never had a girlfriend type of guys so when some young womans bofy comes in they tend to look at it as there opportunity because they know no live woman would want them well thats a common story they tell there employers when getting caught balls deep in a corpse. Its honestly so much more common then society realizes. Especially when you work with many bodies through 0ut the day they tend to stop seeing them as people but more so as objects. People always talk about h how taboo Necrophilla is and act like its really fucking bizarre. I gurantee if you look up people who have been cjarged with Necrophilla you would be shocked. Even my wife told me how uncomfortable some of the male Nurses made her feel when she was feeding our daughter. They just stared way to long. And this happened in a Marentiny ward do it shouldn't be that uncommon or shovking to see espically when the paient is in there own room

I'm probably overthinking this but metaphorically this is a piece of art. In some sort of way this shows how some/most men like women when they're at a disadvantage or incapable of protecting themselves/standing up for themselves/ fighting back. In the end when the woman gets up and is clearly capable of moving (protecting herself or standing up for herself etc) the man says that she isn't beautiful, he crawls back in fear/disgust.
I'm not easily grossed out, but oh, man. That aside, what a great short! Very fine acting, and the effects were nicely done--and great make-up. Well done!
James Warfield is a natural. At no time did he appear to be 'acting.' Every mannerism, every action, every reaction was 100% authentic. This short is brilliant. It never gets old. Elwood Quincy Walker gets serious respect.
This actually has deep meaning. It shows a universal truth. Men tend to play and lie with women’s heart but after he’s done, he has no intention of actually returning love and respect

I was watching it late and almost dozed off. Not because I was bored, but because of being old and weary. Great job of luring the audience in! Also, the drowned girl did a wondrous job on her part, and had well done make-up. Two thumbs up.

So, true story: I knew a guy who worked at a pizza place in Austin. He worked with this girl who was out sick for awhile. Turns out the poor girl went to the ER, concerned about a green discharge from her vagina. The doctor takes a sample and I guess runs some kind of in-hospital analysis. Doc comes back into the examination room with a police officer. Tells her she has a parasite that can be treated, but can pretty much only be contracted via necrophilia. Then she breaks down, as she realizes in horror, and tells the officer, that her boyfriend works in a morgue. Since then, whenever we wanted to freak each other out, we would hide notes that read “green discharge” around for each other to find randomly. This film reminded me of that. Chilling. Anyway, great job, cheerio!

This is easily the best Alter video I have ever watched. The actors are fantastic, it's well-written, and it is as straightforward as a horror short could be. It's going to be tough topping this one.
Actually the actress literally killed herself to provide excellent realism and the director loved it and filmed her corpse. The actress was suddebyl brought back to life everyone in the set was scared shitless but the director thought this was a good scary scene and kept filming
I love how it starts with that good old happy swing music, then it slows the music down until it stops, thus subverting the happy sounds and giving it an eerie vibe. 👍

This is easily the best Alter video I have ever watched. The actors are fantastic, it's well-written, and it is as straightforward as a horror short could be. It's going to be tough topping this one.

Actually the actress literally killed herself to provide excellent realism and the director loved it and filmed her corpse. The actress was suddebyl brought back to life everyone in the set was scared shitless but the director thought this was a good scary scene and kept filming
