I just commented on a different video of yours. I am not a singer or public speaker. Your video just showed up in my feed. Thankfully! For several months I have trouble speaking. My throat is tight and the voice isn’t always smooth. It stops and starts in the same breath. I struggle to speak and it is exhausting! About 2 months ago I tried increasing my water intake. This worked so well I thought I was cured. But the second I got lazy, my voice started acting up again. I’m trying each day to get enough water. I just watched a couple of your videos and my throat is so relaxed. First time in months I’m actually experiencing relief. Thank you! - I am a nurse in a family practice setting. I have to speak to patients in person or on the phone and my elderly patients have trouble understanding me on some days. Your videos are a lifesaver!

    Hello Katarina.
I've just recently discovered your channel and I'm blessed to say that you (may) have helped me find the issues I have been dealing with for more than 1+ year. Basically, I saw some of your videos regarding Muscle Tension Dysphonia and I nevertheless also researched a bit and found the symptoms which all match my symptoms... My question is now, would you recommend I call my ordinary doctor or should I try and find a voice specialist or something of that caliber - I live in Denmark btw.
    Thanks,
    Kian

What are your thoughts on Himalayan Salt addition to water. I read it helps the tissue to maintain hydration better than water alone. I had vocal surgery with an incredibly gifted surgeon. There's a lot of factors as you said that effect vocal chord hydration.

I'm not sure how much I drink exactly, but I think I'm doing pretty good with the couple of cups of coffee and tea along with maybe 4 or 5 glasses of water a day! Thanks for the info!!❤

Thanks Katarina. I use a water 'Hydrogen Generator' for a pint or two every day. Anything I drink including my coffee is organic. My house water is highly filtered. So what I do drink is as pure as I can get it...
