    Those who say that The Assassin gets free hits on a full path with Call to Arms, I'm sorry but the survivors you're playing against are just bad.
    I've tested it to the point of insanity. Good survivors get the banner every time.
    Mindbreaker and Dried Horsemeat, it's the same outcome.

      bro, good survivors get the banner when Knight isn't also chasing them down. Even good survivors will avoid the banner to avoid being pincered and two-tapped.

      If knight waits for the guard to catch up, the survivor runs through the knight and gets a pallet/window

      @@americaneaglez1182 it's not so much the part but the whole. any smart knight doesn't chase the guard so if he sees you go for a defense he's going to take the free hit, then poop out a guard and rinse and repeat. do this with lethal pursuer vs a survivor in a dead zone at the beginning of the match and bam! you have the first survivor who will be camped to death with ease. since it takes 3 players to rescue against a camping knight (without trading), the knight merely needs to slug, then tunnel the fuck out of the unhooked survivor, creating pressure and going for easy kills. Knight is dumb easy to play and it's mostly because the AI does all the heavy lifting. skull merchant was a better designed killer and let's be honest, she was only nerfed because survivors couldn't think beyond gen rush meta...which she countered hard.

      as a knight main myself i think this change keeps his strength in the spot you just have to play him differently. i do agree he needs some buffs

    What I really don't understand is why they removed the separate cooldowns for guards which made the knight feel really good. Shit just feels so clunky and unfun still

      Probably because they couldn't work out how to fix the spawning a guard while a guard is out while they were on separate cooldowns so they just stuck them all back on a global cooldown.

      @@JCglitchmaster from what I’ve heard that was bug that you could send another guard while the other one was on cool down, but then again I can see why they removed cause it rough on survivors pretty bad but I think they really need to knock down the cool down to like 6.5 or 7 seconds instead of 10 cause that’s just ridiculous

    the knight fucking sucks. so many things are awful.
    I cant believe BHVR actually had this, tested it, and thought "this is what people want" its like this entire update had no quality control

    Fun thing is how some people will swear how much knight is better to play now, which is false because I was turned from him. I was fine in seeing a shift in some places to allow surviviors to have fun and improve the knight experience for the players, but those last sec changes were the most random thing that could happen given the PTH feedback. It's like someone looked at it and said "shit, what is this? This isn't compliant to my standards, gut him". They encouraged the knight to use different guards to their intended situations, but those changes just pushed him toward his most hated playstyle and just using the best guard between the three. Luckly I have PH, Nemesis, Vecna, Singu, soon the unknown and some others, but man did I enjoy playing tactical games with the knight.

Though I'd say that among the whole knight discussion isolating that single phrase that I either forgot to complete or I outright didn't think much about and putting some skulls after it doesn't magically make go away the analysis provided in this video or by other player

The only topic you brought up is that they "gutted" him and now he has the worst playstyle, but you didn't really give a reason, you just said that he bad now.

      @@pastorlul2384 And you are totally right in saying that I don't have a point or an argument, it's more of a "gut feeling out". I tend to write REALLY long comments and because no one wants to read a 2000 words essay from a no name on how he thinks the knight is bad when there is is already plenty of in depth discussion about it. Beside I don't think I could have added much more than what was said in the video if I presented and honest to god argument, especially because I agree with all the points Choey present. All in all if you want to look it from that prespective, the comment is essentially useless, but it wasn't meant to be full of depth and engaging, I just tried to convey my feelings in it without devolving into ADHD rambling.

    I have not felt the change to the guard time when too close to a chase. Probably cause I already tried to go around the outer edge of the chase. (But I'm sure in more claustrophobic maps and tiles I will feel it.)
    I do say I feel like I'm not using a variety of guards as much as I used to. Like I only use carni when people stay at a pallet that does not have a window or other pallet option nearby. (And thats not if my power is already on cooldown.)

    So many RUclipsrs have been trying to say that this was a buff and it was upsetting me. Thank you for being honest and calling out BHVR for only making a game for survivors.
    The 2v8 is only for survivors. They literally introduced an anti tunnel mechanic that gives survivors extra gens for each dead teammate (we all know it's not a bug). There's just too much.

    This Knight nerf is as bad as Myers not being able to drain more Evil from Survivors after the first time he drains them. Or the Pig not being able to recover her reverse bear traps after Survivors remove them... Which makes the Trapper look better since now his traps don't get deleted after Survivors interact with them...

    Singularity was clunky and hard to play. They fixed that and he feels better to play. Despite Knight being simple to play, he wasn't really strong. So they swapped him with Singularity. Now Knight is clunky and hard to play while Singularity is easy to play.
    But here is the thing. I'm seeing people claiming this is a buff to him. I played him for two matches and he just feels clunky and unfun. Am I missing something? I feel like I'm playing a different game, or something, when I read or see videos saying this new changes was great for him. And I sit here like...huh?

    And here's why I'm not excited for any of the incoming reworks for Freddy, Myer and Dullmerchant. This kind of stupid decision making. I heard nobody complain about the individual cooldown on Knight. Why did they even remove that ? Are they actively trying to not be taken seriously ?

    Yea the vecna nerf two weeks later after his release made me drop the game/ take a massive break. Knight was my main because of his aesthetic and love the concept of him. Tried the ptb and liked being able to cancel my guard anytime and each guard having their own cooldowns. Was going to come back for full release but after trying him now for a couple matches, he’s awful. They nerfed him into the ground and that was the final straw for me. I’m just sick of bhvr nerfing killers into the ground for “survivors fun” as their main priority. Any new killer that comes out just gets hit with nerfs later so what’s the point. I’ll watch RUclipsrs play but as for me I’m done with DBD. Won’t get any more money out of me.

    This sucks so much because what they essentially turned them into is old twins they want him to be played as a split pressure killer but you're better off just slugging a couple of people and sending your guards between different hooks. They want you to switch between guards but whenever you need to issue an order it puts your guards on cool down making you punished for using the secondary part of the power.

    the 10 meters things is just like a mild annoyance honestly. the main problem is the cool down when i was playing him. it should be like artists cooldown when you don't use the birds. maybe a recall button would also help this massively.
    I don't like going against knight that much as survivor still tbh but there's more annoying killer powers to worry about. he's definitely over hated considering what's in the game.
    also what happened to chucky, that was like so much worse. completely obliterated him. or blight hug tech just like used a syringe and drained the fun straight out of the killers.

    The problem with alot of bhvr balancing is they balance around killers being fun to face for survivors but the problem is most survivors find killers fun that they can easily stop, they gutted knight for the sake of making him more fun for survivors, however they DESTROYED everything about him. i was having fun with knight before the patch now,.... i can't i feel like i wasted my money , the only good thing about the knight is still nowhere to hide, but who knows how long before bhvr comes for that. Knight you deserved better

      knight was never strong anyway but was unfun to play against and kinda still is, the problem is with knights power. billy is right up there with nurse and people enjoy playing against him same goes for wesker

      Yep. Survivors only like playing against a killer they can loop for 5 gens like Pig. That's why they all loved old Billy cause he was the easiest killer to loop in the game and now they hate him because he got a nice buff

      TBH, the only playstyle that I saw many people complaining about, myself included, was pincer Knight. Which was boring because you'd just get herded into a dead zone and one-two hit for down.
      Which just made Knight extremely boring to play against because it was one of two strategies Noob or Lazy Knights would use to force for "easy" wins.

    I think it’s obvious to give each guard their own cooldown, but I’d also want him to be able to summon multiple guards at once (and make it so they can’t hunt a survivor who is already hunted). Risk is that you will have multiple guards on cooldown at once. Reward is the extra pressure you would get.

    At least I can say I enjoyed my one and only game as knight after the rework. I definitely noticed the hiccups while trying him out but I somehow enjoyed myself, even managed to get a pincer double attack off on a dude with Carnifex lol. Also got to use that jailer/assassin pallet breaking trick

    Separate cooldowns, An instant location drop button (I.E. either just drop the minion where we're currently standing and activate it and for five seconds it would follow us unless triggering a hunt, creating its own patrol route via our own route, drop time should be less than a second [Even half a second] or let us set it to patrol between a designated generator and our current location instantly, spawning it on the generator), Maybe allow us to use all three at the same time (Might be a bit busted)
    Idk Knight needs a lot of buffing to be good. Right now, I'mma be honest, Skull Merchant feels like a better version of knight. Permanent minions that can be deployed in stationary locations to either guard the location against an unsuspecting survivor or used in a chase by firing and forgetting, forcing survivors out of a tile. We don't need a second skull merchant, but we need a better knight.

      The idea of him people able to point at a gen and send a guard out is the only good idea I've heard so far. You do recognize however that if no one gets chased, that guard is wasting a lot of power time. Also I wouldn't consider the Knight weak, but ig the stats speak for themselves.

    I main the Knight, and after this update, I'm a bit mixed.
    When it comes to negatives, I don't like the cooldowns being shared across all guards, it makes the Knight turn into an M1 killer for a majority of the chase. Also, I haven't played Blight or Nurse but apparently the cooldowns for those killers are faster than the Knights, which makes zero sense when those killers are hands down the best killers in the game, so why does the Knight have a longer cooldown compared to those killers? Also, idk why we can't just use multiple guards like I saw in the PTB, that bug would of been the perfect change to add with the guards, allowing him to feel more smooth and consistent.
    For mixed, the penalty for being near the guard in chase, I haven't noticed it too much. Even when I'm really near, by the time I am near them, they're already about to get hit by either me or the guard. However, it was extremely noticeable in RPD. I got a guard to chase someone upstairs, while I was chasing a different person downstairs, but as the guard was chasing the survivor, the penalty kicked in because they were literally above where I am (which again, I was chasing a completely different person), and there was nothing I could of done to avoid that.
    And I wanna say this is mix but it can also be good, but now the Assassin can pretty much guarantee a hit. I use Call of Arms and the other yellow addon that increases the hunt by 4 seconds, and almost 98% of the time, my assassin would get the hit. The only time it doesn't is whenever the survivor has lithe or sprint burst. Its good because I find using guards to split pressure to not work like...at all. It buys some time but its usually not enough to add that pressure I need. With this change, I have this pressure now. However, this now creates a problem where now I can't use other guards because of the cooldowns like I said previously. And eventually people will notice this and will run those perks to counter it.
    The only two good things were the longer the path is, the longer the hunt is, which is nice. And the addon rework was actually great. Though it sucks that Call of Arms is needed still.
    Three things need to change:
    1. Separate the Cooldowns for the guards. idc if a different DLC character has that feature, I like it on that DLC character but I want that change to be applied to the Knight.
    2. Make the penalty only apply if you're near the survivor, that is on the same floor. Because like I said, I couldn't avoid it in RPD.
    3. Make Call of Arms also base kit.

    If you had to remove 1-2 nerfs from Knight which would it be? I think it would be best to remove universal cooldowns shared by all his guards, Arguably best part about Knight was multitasking with several guards but now most knight mains will only use one guard most of the time since it's not worth it wasting guard power on say, the pallet breaking guard

    I described those problems even before the PTB but people called me crazy, the lack of information on the Dev Update was what upset me, certain thing wheren't mention, those things where take out that people called broken.
    Even Hens said, the people who are calling the Knight dead, don't know how strong he really is, and I predicted that these changes didn't go to the Live release, but okay, don't listend to me, he is now in a decent spot, the PTB Version was overkill.
    Shared Cooldown is what he needet to be not too oppresive, but problem is certain action, depending on the guard, take longer or not which hinders his gameplay. The cooldown between each guard should not be bigger than 3 seconds.
    Escpecially when after a Jailers failed patrol. Oh and btw... You can keep the Jailer hostage as a Survivor, I've told plenty people of that, but their answers was: "How likely will it be that a Person will take away 50 seconds (good timing is even 60 seconds) your power away? Mains know that this can happen easier than you think. YOU ARE LEGIT FORCED to chase the person with the jailer, so you can get your Power back.
    Problem is also, you can't get Bloodlust while a guard chases a survivor. So If you are on the opposite side of the map, you have 60 seconds no Power and no Bloodlust, which hurts this Killer as well.
    And now to the last part, that dumb addon that the thought being basekit is okay. Just because certain people consider pillaged mead a fan favourite doesn't mean that this thing should be partially be basekit. Buffing all guard breaking speed, it insane and crazy, it was not a buff, the only reason to run it, is to get Carnifex value out of broken pallets easier, but you already had enough value of him beforehand, because afterwards came the assassine and you could just set him up for a chase If you really missed the opportunity for a hit.
    But by doing so, giving the Knight a part of pillaged mead basekit, you took one second stall of the breaking action of other guards, like the Jailer and assassin, which means you can't block pallets 1 second less, and also block generator 1 second less. Knight hat 6 second corrupt intervention in his kit, now those are 5 seconds and yes, it's bothering me, because that is a Shadow nerf, it took them over 6 months to revert Ghost Face shadow nerfs... By reducing his cooldown time due to addon changes...
    So yes, I can be very specific about those Changes... and I can be upset about those, but like I said I showed some people these problems, but all of them, forget that this is still bhvr we are talking about, the same guys that nerfed Pig without giving her compensation for over 4 years... maybe I go a bit overboard with those 4 years but you get the point...

    I've been playing this guy enough and you know what's the worst part after I realized this he is just a more complicated version of old twins now geared towards splitting pressure but you're better off just slugging a couple people and hooking one and then sending your guards back and forth between hooks and then getting Downs there's no point in issuing orders because it just puts everyone on cooldown too making the switch between guard update useless

    After playing nerfed new Knight, I can say that I haven´t felt so miserable and at the mercy of the opposing team, ever since I played my first (and by now former) main. Clunky, slow, extremely limited mess that can't even summon Carnifex from a close distance to break the pallet (still).
    Knight mains, save yourself a trouble and just switch to nurse or something. I feel so sorry for you.
    I can only pray that BHVR will never feel bothered enough to touch my main to make her more "fun for survivors" like Knight.

    Out of all the changes they made.... objects and blades of grass stopping you from summoning the orb was not one of them. It's wild.
    Every other killer regardless where you standing you press the power button your power starts be it licking a wall or in a bush!

    I swear behaviour really can't rework anything nowadays, just look at the maps, look how they rework some of the Killers like the twins, and now the knight.

    I played like 3 games on reworked knight, firsti tried doing what behaviour wanted to do with these changes, i sticked to the now narrow playstyle. i couldnt do shit, gens were poppin, i couldnt apply that pressure, i felt useless (im not god tier knight BUT this felt a lot worse than before). In the second match things were the same. in the last match i disconnected after i couldnt end the first chase in 3 minutes (again im not a god and i should leave her sooner but i wanted to test how much it would last trying to work with these changes). I just feel useless, and i feel bad playing him. I was hoping for better rework, now bhvr made me hate knight, and im maining singularity
    thats just sad

    Survivor: You should be punished for mistakes
    Survivor: DS, DH, windows opportunity, off the record, 3 hook states to die, etc.
    I feel killers should be punished as well, but not as severely as a survivor. Stats show a 60-second avg community chase time, which doesn't show the time to hook and find survivors. Granted higher mmr survivors generally are easy to find, but gens are 90 seconds, and the goal is 12 hooks. Generally, I am between 8 to 10 most games, but the point is that the numbers dont add up. Also, it doesn't take into account afk players, people giving up, throwing at Hook in Endgame, or tunneling the numbers are actually a lot worse. But also remember survivors are 80 percent of the players in a match, so naturally, a game will cater slightly to the majority .

    Nothing to address the hacker problem was my strike 1. They limit gens kicks and that was my strike 2. They nerfed all gen regress perks and that was my strike 3. It's clear who BHVR want the game to be for so I just don't play it anymore. After seeing the new meta and all Sabo build SWF, I'd just slug anyway. Use to love this game, now I'll never come back.

    I'm cool with the "hunt less time if your near" thing, but the fact I can't spawn a guard close to me is just straight annoying. soneone was obviously running an anti tunnel build (had ds) so they just had to watch me back up and fumble around, wait a sec for my damn guard cooldown to go away, and then place a guard. by that time someone already fucking picked them up bk I had waited a bit beforehand bk I was unsure of how long they had left
    just not being able to place a guard where you want and wasting precious time in the sending a guard phase trying to figure out where I acceptable to place while the survivors already ran to fucking timbuktu. not fun :[
    I also really want a separate guard cooldown, reduced cooldown, and the ability to go forwards And backwards in the queue, and also have the switch be instantaneous, bk right now theres a weird delay so if a survivor drops pallet and I need carnifex it takes an extra second and I just don't like it
    however, map of the realm basekit and the ability to switch between guard is great. my guards actually fucking hit people now which is very nice. although I'd like call to arms basekit aswell because it feels like ass to play without it

    Damn! As a Knight main, this is actually incredibly disheartening. I wasn't paying attention to BHVR's updates and announcements, so when I saw the changes in-game, I was hoping they were just bugs and not full-blown nerfs.
    I'll still be playing Knight as my main, I'll just have to sweat harder to compensate for these changes.

    Hoping the shared cooldown thing is a bug. The add-ons don't support the shared cooldown angle, so hopefully it's fixed with the rest of these bugs.

    Knight was my first P100 and granted I've not played the new Knight yet as I've not had the interest to play the game again. But if what you're saying is the case then this is gonna be horrendous as I loved the different multitasking you could do with Knight and interrupt many things the Survivors would be doing. Now I'm not sure if I wanna main the killer anymore if that's gone.

    The worst thing to me is still ai manipulation and making guards take long turns, looping a loop is fine like a window to buy time, but a rock or running up to a window and not catching up is just dumb. Cooldowns are way too unforgiving now, guards should have separate ones and I guess they should kake them longer by 50/ for each guard for that so you use the same guard over and over again

      Yea I missed the old guards that would run right through a pallet or window and be on a survivors ass. Now they pre drop a pallet and the guard will take the longest route possible to get around it 🤦‍♂️.

    Knight used to be my favorite killer. When I played DBD, I usually picked him, I even planned on getting him to P100. This feels like a massive slap in the face from behavior. They took our favorite toy, showed us a new one, and broke it before giving it to us. I no longer have any confidence in my willingness to continue maining knight, which feels even worse than he does to play right now. Worst part is that I can’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. The knight community is small, not all that vocal compared to other communities, and those who dislike him are everywhere, and won't shut up, so any hope of any good changes for him has been more or less extinguished.

      Yeah, this unironically feels like an update made for the toxic players that actively insult you for playing Knight.
      Whenever someone tries to defend the changes, they'll eventually just say he's a "zero skill killer so it's good he's worse", "you have AI do your job for you" "You're just mad you can't get free hits" and things like that
      And it's clear BHVR actively wants to reward these people by now.

    The knight didn't need longer hunts, he needed better AI, instead BHVR made the bug where if you simply touch a vault location, guards will literally NOT hit you, a """"feature""""
    The tripled global cooldown just streamlined him into a boring, slow, repetitive killer. You now decide which guard you think is the best and you just spam it.
    It's boring, brainless and feels so so bad.
    Before I would down someone, try to figure out what other survivors would be doing (Hiding for a save? Gen rushing? Healing somewhere? Waiting around to unhook immediately?) And use his power accordingly.
    They gutted him for no reason other than survivors hating him, his cooldown is now longer than Nurse's, to put it into perspective, and they haven't even acknowledged the Knight mains' feedback.
    That says all I need to know about this game and the way they'll handle things in the future.

    It's the same situation with 2v8, In the recent devs gameplay survivors were just laughing and not paying attention just having fun and still " winning " while killers were sweating their balls and still not coming close to winning. It's always like this fun is only for survivor , for killer even fun techs like hug tech are removed.

    The pillaged mead basekit and how bugs were treated was a huge blow to my confidence in BHVR.
    Pillaged mead is a nerf and they call it a buff, and BHVR says it was because everyone was picking it. No knight ALIVE uses pillaged mead, it nerfs knight. Everyone made it loud and clear this was not a necessary change let alone a buff. But then we hear nada about it and it gets implemented. Makes me think BHVR is straight up gaslighting people, maybe to get ahead of backlash or something? Either that or they do not understand their killer AND do not listen to the community. There is not a good interpretation of that action.
    And the bugs... the window touch glitch is adopted, with vague language that clearly intends to imply it was always an intended feature and not the awkward AI pathing bug that everyone, surv or killer, knew it was. But the glitch with canceling guards and putting more of them on cooldown to shift pressure on the map was fixed instantly after the ptb, even though it balances itself. And the pallet stun bug, which everyone who plays knight knows about, the bug Otz dedicated an entire video to, was never mentioned at any point of knight's entire update! Hello?! It's not a super secret bug, it's extremely public, and I thought this update was to fix knight's biggest problems? BHVR is willingly ignorant at this point.
    One bug implemented and pretended to be intentional, one bug fixed ASAP, one bug never addressed at all. A nerf meme addon made basekit and gaslighting knights that it's a buff. Adding a surprise global 10 second cooldown to his power the day of the live update. BHVR clearly just wanted to kill his pick rate instead of balancing him like an a dev team should.

    He definitely needs more of a ground up change imo. I was hoping they would choose a different direction for his character with this rework like the skull merchant rework a while back. I think it would be neat if he had a different main ability (maybe a special attack that leaned more into his swordsmanship) and the guards worked more like a pinhead chain hunt or trickster main event. If you hit enough of his special attack you would build up progress for an "ultimate ability" that would cause all the survivors to be hunted by guards or some wacky shit. I just feel like his gameplay concept as of now is inherently unhealthy for the game and on some level unfun for both sides no matter what.

    There's no incentive to use anyone but assassin now that the coolodown is 10+ seconds between summons.
    If I need to use the jailor that means I am not good at predicting survivors enough. A survivor getting chased for 24-32 seconds is okay, but them getting hit and grouping with people to get healed is worth more.
    If I need to break a pallet with Carni and waste 2+10 seconds that means I have failed to use assassin.
    Assassin still has a chance to get a hit with his high movement speed instead of having the standard get yoinked, making it so I get my power back sooner.
    Patrolling with jailor works okay if it's 2 hooks/ 1 hook + high progress gen / exit gate.

    I'm so upset with these changes. I've screamed under every tweet or update for the ptb to not do this to knight because WE knight players KNEW what was going yo happen.
    This isn't the same killer we love he's just a shell about to turn into dust. I'm ashamed that the devs approved of these changes and they should understand we need killers in this game

    No idea what they were going with here, playing him feels like I wanna lay down on my bed, like nothing I do really matters to much with him and I just don't feel any joy so I'd rather sleep it off, playing against him still feels like the old way, but tbh, I never minded playing against Knight as a survivor cuz as you said, having a understanding of the character would make for predictablity so yeah, doesn't feel too different but for sure, fun has been sucked out of the Knight, and for me personally, I just wish they had a bug fix update with him awhile ago over a rework, Knight felt like the second most buggest killer (First one being Twins).

    There's a lot of falsely claiming that things are overpowered in this community. It's almost funny to see people complaining that knight was broken when I refused to play him because his ai guards were so bad at pathing that he felt unreliable. And rather than fixing the broken pathing they just claim it's a feature now.

    I don't understand how bad are the survivors the devs go against for them to do Knight like this. The ten second cooldown is horrible and stop all snow ball potential because you're a basic m1 killer with a power more punishing then nurse missing five blinks in a row. The cooldown is so bad like I played two games with it and got off because it annoyed me that much. He needs love and their is so much potential. This isn't even mentioning how horrible the exploits are against knight.

    I want to like knight, but when they change something for the best, they also ruin my poor boy.
    I'd hope the community finds ANY way to make him good again because at the moment, besides being weak AF, he's also boring and frustrating. I dare say it's as weak as Myers, but withoht the fun that comes from the vibes and the instadown ability.
    Knight now is like playing Singularity against coordinated survivors, except every single match.

      He’s definitely better. Most people just don’t know how to play him and understand truly what each guard’s purpose is. The Assassin isn’t optimal for mid-chase anymore it’s the Jailer as you can use him as you could with old Knight and sandwich very easily. The flag being much harder to get makes Jailer S tier in time waste and being able to use the same guard over and over if you need it is amazing. You can cancel patrols with no cooldown which is also extremely helpful. Call to Arms is a must need add on though. It’s like old map of the realm in value. Also you can mindgame anti loops by faking a patrol when the surv is cornered and watch how many of them will instantly try to leave the loop. Knight seems slower and weaker to play at first but he’s much much stronger.

      @olympiuh Hey dude, just letting you know I tested the 'cancelling a patrol eliminates the cooldown' thing you said, not only is that wrong but you can't remote cancel a guard also. You still in the PTB or something? Also, being unable to use your power for 10 seconds for breaking something (this is the base universal cooldown). 22 seconds for a Carnifex/Assasin Patrol, and that's with the universal cooldown. 34 seconds for a Jailed patrol, again that's with the universal cooldown. And even more if your guards are chasing a survivor for their max duration (yes I know this isn't going to happen all the time, but the fact that it can happen is dumb)
      Why they are saying Knight is bad now is mainly his horrid cooldowns, and you don't seem to realize that. I ran into lots of moments playing my first and so far only reworked knight match where I was like "damn, I could use a guard right now, but it's been on cooldown for 30 seconds!!" Because I tried playing him how I did before the update, setting up paths and patrols, but now I get punished for it if they don't see anyone and have to wait half a minute to get my power back, and even more if they start a chase. Also it's not fun to rely on the same guard over and over again, and only using him can put you in odd spots. Sometimes you need to get a hit, sometimes you need to break a gen/pallet from far away, sometimes you need to waste peoples time. Literally your only points is that Jailer is the best because he wastes time, and you can fake your power (which fun fact, knight could do before the rework)
      Again, are you still on the PTB somehow?

      @@olympiuh okay, and that only applies to the loop stuff you mentioned, and besides if you actually read my comment you would've seen near the end that i said Knight before the rework could do it also, so him being able to do it now literally makes no difference other than wasting time like 50% of the time, and if that fake out trick starts getting used he'll become predictable (ehem, his biggest weakness like the video said, and with this 'rework' he is Uber predictable), survivors are just going to adapt counterplay it over time, making this advantage pretty much worthless

    Imma be completely honest with you (I'm a survivor main, occasionally play killer), I feel pretty bad for knight mains, does this mean I like the knight no. Fuck the knight. But they did not deserve the nerf he got, i was thinking a similar thing to what you had said in your video, have a longer cooldown on the guards, not this bs that the people who are "struggling" say. Both sides have their difficulty, but knight did not deserve that nerf.

    I'm a knight main that been playing him since day one. I had a moment where I like the rework but now after a couple days I'm just now stop playing him really now. This is the 2 killer they have ruined for me because of survivors. I'm just don't want to play anymore. 18k hours played and trickster rework a fail the knight rework had hope but nope it a fail

    Honestly the PTB knight is fine and the slower banner spawn time for snipes should have meant a long guard snipe would most likely get you a hit, rewarding cut offs and skilled predictions. Them removing the ability to dump a guard at your feet was good because every knight would just drop guards at loops which required 0 skill. The big issue is they added a global cooldown on call guards for some reason, if they just removed this then knight would be fine.

    the knight feels even more boring to play now, the global cd and bad ai just make the killer double team the survivor and the counter play as a survivor is just abusing the guards when they are alone.
    they should make the cooldown separte like in the ptb fix the ai pathing and give each guard a differente hunt abilities, some ideas.
    the Carnifex breaks pallets on the hunt path but it takes 2x as long to break and can´t vault windows.
    the Assassin can vault pallets and windows and follows the survivor pathing.
    the Jailer can´t vault at all but blockes the survivor being hunted from vaulting within the 10m range of the guard.
    i think that way the survivors can still have a fun counter play as long as they adapt to the guard, and it would make the guards more reliable against survivors.

    So I just started playing DBD again after about two years. I got sick of the toxic behavior and I just don't need that...but like LoL you end up getting sucked in again at some point. So I play knight, think he's bugged as hell because I've been enjoying him for a few days. Find out he got reworked so I read up on the changes. Decide to give him another go after understanding what was changed. I hate it. Why would I ever play the Knight over another killer right now? IMO there are worse killers still, but at least they feel like they're working as intended. Knight feels super clunky now, gets punished for taking chances, and is way worse against SWFs. Like people seem better at survivor even at lower tier, compared to when I played, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I'm seeing a lot more SWFs which doesn't feel as bad as it used to, but my boy the Knight just can't deal with them nearly as well since the rework. So that being said, I'm gonna go play other killers.

    Like how the hell is this a not "Us VS them" situation when the Killer Players are cleary, without a shadow of a doubt, getting over nerfed because knight is too good.
