Weems you are a god dam genius, the way that you made that battery tray was a thing of beauty. Gonna use this design on my shovelhead I’m currently having built by a mechanic/bike builder.
You remind me that you can do a lot with very little and I haven't forgotten that but I have forgotten the satisfaction of it. Thank you for the reminder I appreciate every video. Put that music still makes me angry LOL
Jared Sir, I see I'm not the only one that holds metal/ steel by hand on the vise while drilling! I also see my prayers for you work since you didn't get hurt or damage anything when it took off. You are a Craftsman and your daughter will be all smiles as you both ride together. You are in my prayers Hoka Hey
I'm jealous. That bike is going to look great. Is that a Podtronic reg/rec? I put one of those on my 64 Triumph TR6 and I've noticed it has a slight parasitic draw on the battery. I put a bullet connector on the red wire so I can unplug it when the bike is sitting for a few days. With that wire no longer attached to the battery it doesn't draw any power.
Awesome video, as always. I love videos like these. I wanna get a welder and learn how to use it. I'm getting ready to build a 72 ironhead. I'm excited.
Hey Jared! Cool video, as usual. I love the handlebars you've got installed on the bike. What are they? They seem higher than the standard US spec ones... Would look great on my 1950 6T. All the best. Ric
Well jared my old mate , the trumpet (triumph) is going to look well smart (nice ) when she is finished. I think your daughter is going to be as pleased as punch (happy ) with the bike 👍. Here ends todays lesson in " speak proper english like i does " 😁 See you later mate . Peace out ✌
Make that battery a tray.
Batteries love trays.

Good Morning Weems Motor Co!
Nice. But the music is making me angry. The build is great.
That was really rad and totally enjoyable! Thanks Jared!
Very cool, now I know how to do that! I've got the same square
Nice fab, thanks for the tips. Also learned that coils can be wired in series.

Great video!
Looks good man, nice tray
Thanks 👍
I made one very similar to this, but I left some wiggle room at the ends so I could stuff foam in to cushion the battery.
Great idea!

Yes they are! Those bars are actually factory high bars from a 1972 Bonneville!
Nice, clean compact setup. Looks great can't wait for the finished bike! Any updates on the Harley chopper build? Take care and be safe
Coming soon!
