I’m pretty sure the body mount chop was NOT needed to prevent rub mounted to the stock wheels.

Although the Land Cruiser is the ultimate SUV, it’s third row is atrocious. The Sequoia is the only other SUV that’s big enough to carry all your passengers comfortably and still have the reliability synonymous with Toyota.
It may not be as off-road ready as the LC but it’s good enough so yea 64g is worth it
I just drove mine 4800 miles across the SW US and it is a beast, great on road and off. Couldn't ask for a better rig for family road trips!

Finally!! Thumbs up even before I viewed the video. $64k is definitely worth the TRD Pro more than buying a Tahoe, Expedition, and the more expensive Escalade. I just wish they would at least update the front end and interior. Hope the Sequoia would live on for at least 10 more years and that Toyota would not kill it off.

Perfect tire size, typical 35’s are 12.5 wide and that one is a skinny tire which matters to me because skinny tires perform better off-road which I love doing in my tundra. I wish true 35” tires came in a 10.8 wide or 11.2, that’s a good looking sequoia and great job as always 88Rotors.

As a big truck this money is kind of okey but when you check the interior of this big rig, price doesn’t match.
Definitely worth the money that engine is bulletproof,wish he would’ve got black bushwhacker finder flares to go with the built, but it still looks dope💪
Fender flares look good on a more aggressive setup in my opinion. With a stock wheel setup, it would look too sunken in in my opinion. This setup worked out well for the owner of the truck. Practical, functional, and beastly looking daily/family car.

I'm deciding on a 2021 now. This job looks great, but overall I'm just not sure the Sequoia is worth it. No front/rear lockers, full time 4wd with the torsen...seems like it would leave me wanting for 4x4 prowess. For a people mover that's capable enough for tame beaches it would be fine though.

have vehicle running 295/70R18 and does not rub anywhere on the factory TRD pro BBS wheels. not sure why the BMC everything lol.

Why does the new exhaust have a open pipe coming off the muffler or resonator?

Do you need a 7 seater? Do you need a truck bed? Is the $15,000 more in price for the Sequoia Pro worth it? Either way, don’t think you can go wrong. These trucks are definitely solid.
Base your decision on your daily/weekly truck applications.

No solid rear axle?
Cause the Sequoia is a big ass family hauler, not an Off-road SUV. I don't get it. If you have, at least, driven offroad a couple of times, you know that : Big SUV don't cut it. Small spaces everywhere, sometimes barely a Jeep or a 4runner fit. That truck will just won't fit. And second off-road without solid read axle is a lot of headaches and possible broken parts.

What's your opinion on rear coil spacers/leveling kit? I have a 2007 sequioa and recently a toyota technician advised against it and refused to put it on my vehicle based off a few scenarios? Does depend on the age of the vehicle?

Do you guys have the part number for the trd exhaust? I went to the dealer trying to get that exhaust for my 2016 and the were unable to find anything in the system
If you are open to other brands I have Corsa on my Sequoia. Sounds great accelerating and quiet (no drone) on the highway.

The 4runner looks like an aggressive shark, the sequoia looks like a big whale. Not in a bad way though. It looks really good with the bigger tires.
65k price + about another 5K for that work and parts? 70K total? NOPE. It does not worth it. You can but a used Toyota Landcruiser or a Lexus LX570 (is you want a big off road SUV) for about 30K in pretty good shape and low miles. Then expend those extra 40K in adding off road stuff. Both options mentioned above are big, powerful and better built. Plus they are truth world-wide tested and proven off road vehicles.
If you have a large family but still want to do some off-roading, the Sequoia is superior in my opinion. The interior of the Sequoia is much more spacious than the LC or LX570 and they all have the same engine new. LC is certainly more off-road capable out of the box though.
60k is nothing for one of if not the best suvs around . Only thing better would be a land cruiser

Looks great guys. Well done. Curious if the needed chop affected the owner's warranty. I'm about to get a TRD Sport Sequoia and want to put 3" lift on the rear and 4" on the front. I like my ass end down a little bit. Wanna put on some Nitto Terra Grappler 33's with 20" blacked out Fuel outset spokes. Curious what specs I'll need on the wheels to avoid rubbing. I didn't want to chop anything, so I'm curious how I can avoid that and still not go above the warranty void limit height. Thanks again 88. Nice work on the vid. ~ Chase in Texas

Wasnt there a SEMA act that was imposed for vehicle warranties. The manufacturer has to prove that the modification that was made to the vehicle is the purpose of whatever broke.
