- Today I count down the top 10 WORST Marvel Legends figures. This list counts down from 10 to 1 and includes figures from the ENTIRE Marvel Legends run, meaning Toybiz & Hasbro are fair game.

Emma frost (hasbro 2008)
Rock python
Kitty Pryde the ToyBiz version.
Banshee from the first Hasbro wave.
Cannonball he has no legs, just that blast effect base... Stupid figure. More Marvel Legends videos are cool.
I hate Rock Python too. So generic looking.
Agree all around! Thanks for watching!
Rock Python
Hydro Man
Skrull BAF
The Doctor Strange was comic accurate to a certain look. Also that wave wasn’t a movie figure only wave.
Yeah I’m not sure why I thought it was haha
came here to say this. It's incredibly accurate to his look during the time Brother Voodoo was the Sorcerer Supreme
Also the first trailer for the movie came out nearly a year after the release of the figure
This is his defenders varient
Strange should not be on the list. That is a comic version where he was no longer the Sorcerer Supreme.
That makes sense. Still not a fan of the likeness though
@@Nerdzoic Not only that, there weren't too many dedicated movie only lines then, it was just a comic version in a wave that vaguely tied into a movie. Maybe.
It was a boring figure.
Even it was the representation of the comic book version the sculpt was terrible.
the sculpt reminds me the face of orson welles. maybe it's useful for a welles custom hahaha
If we were being completely honest about top 10 worst Marvel Legend figures and including both companies it would be a list made entirely of Toy Biz female figures.
Sadly your right
Still the worst female figure was made by Hasbro lol
Lets be honest, toybiz lack the proper posture. I mean every female is skinny. If they did somehow went with hasbro's current mold then later maintain the aesthetics they sell, every toybiz figure would be expensive.
The cannonball figure should be higher on the list. He's literally HALF an action figure.
So true
Perfectly balanced as all things should be
He's shooting off like a cannonball. He's not supposed to have legs just like hydro man.
When Doc Strange was wearing that costume in the comics he didn’t wear the Cloak of Levitation a whole lot.
This Doctor Strange doesn't have the cloak because in the comic book, he didn't have the cloak when he was wearing this particular costume (which was the one he was wearing in 2006)
That makes sense. I was wondering how they could have such a big miss
dude they put comic book figures in every wave
Yeah somehow I overlooked that like a dummy
Only thing I disagree with is Doctor strange, though the cape not coming with him is a bit sad, the costume does exist in the comics, google "Doctor Strange Black and red".
Why does his mouth pronounce 50 words for a 5word sentence lol
It’s a gift
I'm saying...its like watching an old kung fu movie
@@Nerdzoic And he's cute too dont forget that
That Wolverine is one of the worst figures I have ever seen.
V crotch is when the figures legs don't go straight up and down and arnt on a "t" shaped ball joint. Instead its almost cut to look like a "v" shape. So basically those crappy dollar store figures that whenever you move the leg up it its swivels outward and almost inside out.
Makes sense!
"Why would you do that Hasbro?" Oh, how many times I have asked that question.
Right!?!
I can name so many more worse figures than that Dr Strange
Idk why but it jumped out at me
No offense but his reply is just dumb. Should have said he just didn't like it.
Hasbro announced a new Fantomex just a few days ago!
Yes!
Now we best of Marvel Legends ;)
You know it!
I hate that complaint for Cannonball, if his lower body were regular legs he would be so generic and if given a choice most would choose the blast off legs
I think the point of the complaint IS... That he SHOULD have had legs and the blast effect SHOULD have been an added accessory... So that EVERYONE had the option according to how each person might prefer to display him...
Personally, I think he SHOULD have had legs, on the Spider-Man 2099 buck (for dynamic flight poses...), AND the blast effect SHOULD have been able to attach at the waist, enclosing the legs. NOT difficult to accomplish.
Also, I hate to say it... BUT his head sculpt ALSO SUCKS...!! I appreciate what they were going for there... But NO.
I’m surprised that there was no Bucky cap reuses after the year 2017
HAHA Venture bros refrence. Now I know why the figure struck that familiarity chord. Can't unhear his voice that way now. And thank goodness I only own 2 from this list. They make good fodder.
Liked and subbed and look forward to future content.
Personal Top 3 worst Marvel Legends.
3. My 80th anniversary Iron Man. Came with 2 left repulsor hands and loose joints.
2. Cannonball obviously. Half a figure with limited arm articulation lol well at least on mine hence fodder.
1. Dani Moonstar/Aurora. Even my replacement figures came with fragile left arms. Meh just more fodder for the pile brethren. Have a good Sunday and hope you all have a great week. Cheers.
Your making me glad I never got the 80th Ironman!
1 The Toad from series ( poseabillity very limited)
2 Daredevil ( Ben Affleck version)
3 rubber hand Hulk ( wave 1)
I’m hate that daredevil
Just found your channel, very fun and informative. Love the references and clever digs at the figures. The botulism had me rolling! Nice to see a fellow "mature" collector... (LOL).
Hey! Welcome. Thank you for watching my channel. I’m glad you’re enjoying it. I like adding references where I can to keep it light and fun for everyone.
@@Nerdzoic Well, you're doing a great job, man. I've been binging during my free time!
I think you should’ve added the Wolverine figure from Toybiz series 2. He had his torso locked in a weird pose and his claws were trash. I know it was super early in the line, but he was still trash. Magneto came out in the same wave or before and somehow had more articulation. And the reason that Toybiz had trash women was because of Electra. They reused her body. But her body was done that way to achieve high pose ability while still looking sexual. It did not work for that figure. But they shouldn’t have kept using that body. But Toybiz loved reusing bodies. And I noticed Hasbro is getting bad about it too
You have a great vibe dude, keep it that way 👌🏻
That Dr. Strange red and black suit looks so cool
uuuh, you're off a year there buddy. ToyBiz released 7 waves in 2006 - Face-Offs, Young Avengers, Monsters, Onslaught, Giant Man, Mojo & Modok
Toybiz focused on aesthetics and details. While hasbro prefer the best posture they could provide. And each other lack one another.
That’s one of the best analysis I’ve heard!
My list would include every deadpool and venom and carnage and every 1990s onward character created. Thanks.
Captain America from the IW wave looks like Liam Hemsworth. Also
also that Punisher Shape Shifter Gun *yikes*
lol I never thought of that but it does look like Liam!
You forgot the black suit Spiderman from the Spiderman 3 Sandman BAF Wave
Hey nerdzoic Ik this is about marvel legend but my question is about blackseries. Have you gotten any of the new clone wars figures yet, if so which one/one’s?
Unsure yet. I assume you mean the admiral cardinal and friends figs?
But yeah Strange gets a pass. As does Cannonball. He's good for what he is, but Definitely needs legs. Plenty worse than him
wrong on Dr Strange. this is Comic Book accurate and it is not a MCU only wave.
Lol, I was waiting for that Scarlet Witch. Literally fell apart in my hands trying to pose it recently...
Oh gosh....terrible.
2:12 looks like a white Terry Crews xDD
That Toybiz Rogue could be used as a future version where she is much older. Food for thought.
The worst Marvel Legend of all time is Hasbro's Namor from the Ronan the Accuser BAF line.
Oh man I was rolling with the Janice joke, I can’t unsee that now.
Haha
I think whoever made that Doctor Strange wants to work on the GI Joe Classified line, because he made Crystal Ball.
Two things: I love that five-panel Falcon on your wall... gorgeous.
Second: I am SHOCKSHOCKSHOCKED that the Ronan wave Namor not make this list. That thing is the standard of horribleness that all things horrible are measured against. Not in the realm of MLs, or action figures as a group, but ALL things. In life.
And thirdly, great video.
Ok, three things.
lol thank you, and great comment!
I think an added layer of 'WTF' for the Wolverine listed is it's Being 'Ultimate' while in the same BAF as the 'movie inspired' Jean...
- quality Control aside an 8 figure BAF with such an 'erratic' roster practically screams "we're here to take your money"
Ironlad (Toybiz - Young Avengers Pack)
That Wolverine is just the worst 🤣
Oh yes
Congrats on your first video. Charisma and delivery are good. You might want to be a bit more thorough on researching the figure source material (Doc Strange) as you may get raked over the coals by viewers. Cheers! EDIT - Apologies, I coud swear I thought you said in the video it was your first.
Haha first Marvel Legends. I did the need get corrected about it being a comic version when he was no longer sorcerer supreme. Was I wrong about anything else on it?
@@Nerdzoic I'll have have to watch agaim. I think there was something that could be misinterpreted That was probably a joke if I remember correctly but otherwise you nailed it.
Cannonball was the peg warming king at Walgreens, LOL.
The Karen joke had me rolling on the floor.
Thanks man!
I actually really like that doctor strange, and I think that costume dosent work with a cloak
Im surprised bigtime let down spiderman didn't make this list
I’m honestly shocked that Ben Affleck Daredevil didn’t make this list.
“IT’S A TRAP! THOSE OLD FIGURES ARE CHEAP ‘CAUSE MAYBE THEY SUCK!” Got yourself a new subscriber! Awesome vid man! 😂😂😂
I'm surprised no honorable mentions. Six Armed Spidey, and most of the smaller figures (Spider-Ham, Hit Monkey, Puck usually get mentioned here as they have limited articulation.)
I disagree with your #10 pick. Sure, it’s a ugly figure, but comic version characters are in movie waves all the time. That Hulk buster wave, five out of the six characters in that wave are comic version characters. Only one figure, War machine, is the only figure in that wave is a MCU figure. The Doctor Strange figure was not intended to be the MCU Strange as that film came out a year later.
In that hulkbuster wave we should have gotten instead mcu quicksilver, iron man mark 45, Ultron sentries , and winter gear Hawkeye from the raid on hydra scene but no we got awful blizzard, marvel now iron man, thunder and Valkyrie with awful body mold. The reason I don’t have mcu vision and scarlet witch in the figures we should have gotten the hulkbuster wave is because we got scarlet witch in the abomination 2016 wave and vision was in a pretty rare two pack with scarlet witch from infinity war and phasing vision in fat Thor wave. Hopefully we get mcu quicksilver, iron man mark 45 and Ultron sentries
I like that Dr. Strange is on this list. I get that it's based on the comic line where he isn't the Supreme Sorcerer, but then they released him later on Dormammu BaF wave where he was the same figure, but with the cloak making this figure even worse.
Vindication!
I wait for the day we get an 8-ball marvel legends. My mans deserves the world
Hey man do the best marvel legends next, my top picks so far are spider man ps4 version, captain america from the civil 2 pack, and ant man from ant man and the wasp
I will be some!
I was expecting for Spider-Jam, from The Venom BAF, released a couple of years ago. That was an insult!!
I prefer to pretend that figure doesn’t exist!
Can’t believe rock python wasn’t in there. He’s the most boring ML
So in fairness, he was on the shortlist. But I felt bad since it’s not so much execution it’s just a boring design
I wouldn't count any with odd designs since that's more on Marvel than Hasbro. For what it is, it's a passable effort, Hasbro did they best they could.
I actually have that Doctor Strange, and I got him on Ebay WITH a cloak. Huh?
Good thing is we are getting a new fantomex fig in November so yay!!
So I hear!
Hey nerdzoic when are you going to upload top 10 best marvel legends figures of all time because my favorites are hulk figures with 80 years body, 2020 retro spider man, and mark 85 iron man
Soon!
Sadly I owned both the Ultimate Wolverine and the Rogue on this list.
If you're happy with them, then it's totally worth it.
My top 3 worst
1. Beetle from the Spider-Man homecoming wave
2. Cross bones from the black widow wave
3. Captain America from the avengers movie wave
That cap was crap!
I love that cross bones
What's so bad about Beetle?
Hasbro has been making Marvel Legends for over 10 years and has yet to make a classic Doctor Strange
I’d be down for that
Man I really miss Toy Biz. Only one I have on the list was Cannonball and that was because I got the case. Didn't really want the case but I knew trying to get a Nightcrawler and Mr. Sinister was gonna be a bitch .
Sold, uh not sold, uh declined
Lol
Great vidz man love it im from indonesia btw 😅
Thanks man, cheers!
Great video. Btw, didn’t toybiz end in 2007, Not 2005?
Yeah I def got that wrong in the video timeline. Thanks for keeping me honest!
Nerdzoic can’t wait to see more marvel legends videos 😁
That gamora is struggling lol they should have given her thicker thighs like the she hulk figure
Hasbro took over the line in 2006 or 2007, not 2005. And that Doctor Strange is very comic accurate, he wore a black costume without cape for a while a few years ago, good list tho
Yeah I had a few fails in there
@@Nerdzoic It's alright! We all make mistakes
8.59 Janice friends lol i was just thinking that right before you said that
0:02 me a Funko collector who still watches his videos because I like his attitude and energy:
👁👄👁
The Dr. Strange looks EXACTLY like the comic book version. The comic book being 'The Defenders'. It's actually very page accurate and a good figure.
Wolverine looks like he's making a face from avatar animation.
You forgot the leader from the hulk face off two pack
Arg yeah I didn’t even think of that one.
Wolverine looks like my brother with terrible face prosthetics,
(My brother is 170 pounds while being over six feet, yeah he is a twig)
Haha lucky him
NOT 2002 - 2005. Toy Biz officially did Marvel Legends from 2002 - 2006. Toy Biz went bankrupt in 2006 and sold the license to Hasbro in 2006. Hasbro released Spider-Man: Origins figures in the end of 2006 (circa November/December) and then officially released their own wave of Marvel Legends in January 2007.
Cool, so the Spider-Man origins were released by Hasbro but made by Toybiz?
@@Nerdzoic Yeah. Most of them were. A few of them were made by Hasbro, though. Especially the 8 inch doll figures they did for that line. That was Hasbro.
*_Hey my friend! Love your channel name/logo! I saw you in Cathrin's comments and wanted to swing by and say hi! Wishing you tons of success on your RUclips journey! Like # 239! ^_^_* 👊😀
Thanks man that means a lot! I wish you luck on yours as well!
Original AOA LINE WEAPON X figure needs to be on this line. Maybe remove Strange
Probably, he just struck me as bad as I was making the list lol
Ultimate wolverine for sure can’t believe I bought that one
Thank goodness I only collect Hasbro legends and not toy biz figures. Hasbro has some awesome figs that come with accessories. Nice video.
People have a serious love/hate with Toybiz
@@Nerdzoic Toybiz compared to Hasbro, I mean come on. Thanks for the response.
@ted mic I was not just knocking toybiz. It's just my personal preference to Hasbro. Thank you for the feedback.
"Whys he in a movie wave" why not? His movie wasn't even out yet.
I honesty never noticed until it was just pointed out in this video.
@@Nerdzoic k. When?
Love the pop culture references, and figures #4 thru #1 were so bad I couldn’t stop laughing 😝
Haha thanks so much. I’m myself when using pop culture references. I used to have a game at work that we’d only communicate through movie quotes and see how long we could go through the shift.
Im surprised there wasn’t a spiderman figure on here 0-0
I would kill to have a Costume Nemesis!
Great Video 👍👍
Thank you so much!
No Problem, Keep up the great work
2007 ultimate wolverine was my favorite marvel figure as a kid, and he doesn't look that bad in person in my opinion, just maybe claws are not straight but rest is decent and acceptable
I was hoping to see the first Big time Spiderman figure
Banshee from hasbro,
As much as i loved toy biz some of the figures just look so god awful and then age bad like the morbius one
so true, but they did some awesome BAFs
I disagree with that Dr. Strange. It's not the best but it's not anywhere near the class of these other releases.
As for my bottom three Marvel Legends, it's hard to say. Most MLs are either average or extraordinary; it has to really suck given the price-point to make the cut:
Cannonball: This could have been amazing if they had figured out a way to give him alternate legs, or tool the blast effect where you can port him in. Having him constantly in the blast off position basically only gives you half a figure and limits what you can do for displays.
Emma Frost: To put it bluntly, she looks like a sex doll. Odd proportions, a frozen face, anky articulation, the only reason it's not my worst is because it's from Hasbro's early days with the line and there's one worse. Well, 5 worse...
The OG X-Men Toysrus box set: Look up Glenn Webb's (RIP) review of this set and he can better put into words my thoughts on how butts it is.
Lol you nailed Emma frost!
@@Nerdzoic Thankfully the Walgreens fig is leaps and bounds better so you have an alternative.
Funny how there’s always a couple crappy ones in a run that you still gotta buy for the BAF...genius Hasbro!
The BAF creator should be the employee of the century at Hasbro
That mean grey last stand figures head looks like john cena wearing a bad eva marie wig
That dr strange looks like the strange supreme
Dude you forgot about the x-23 figure from the apocalypse toybiz bad wave. It looks like one of those stupid ass bratz dolls from back in the day, that should be#1 it's so bad that I bought it only for the bad piece and threw that crap away, that's bad. And before you ask, this is my real name.
ToyBiz Black Cat
Toad from series 1
Ben Affleck Daredevil. Not because of the movie or the actor, but the figure was as articulated as Red Skull.
6:10 I am glad that I passed on that toy.
The Wolverine reminds me of A night at the Roxbury.
LOL!
3. Ben Affleck Daredevil
2. Toybiz Mandarine
1. ANY FEMALE FROM TOYBIZ
Thank god they redid that Fantomex figure
Dude.
That black-suit DOCTOR STRANGE figure is an absolute FAVORITE!
Others in the comments have already explained that, at the time, he wore this outfit in the comics (and
It's my 2nd fave look of his), and that (at the time - though it happens waaay tooo frequently) he was not the Sorcerer Supreme, and gave away the Cloak of Levitation.
I will give you the point that having a comic figure in a movie wave is weird, but I was happy to have it. I was WAY MORE PISSED when they re-released this figure shortly later WITH the Cloak. The cloak paint app irritates me, as does the static sculpt. It was just a lazy re-release that I was "contractually obligated" to purchase (multiplies of).
OK. I've been typing while you've been rambling on the rest of the list. Now to rewind it and watch.
Stay nerdy.
#10 looks exactly like the Dr strange variant in Dr strange 2
