Damn, 23 minute video. We gettin spoiled out here. Extremely informative and honestly, ill probably use this as a mini tutorial for getting friends into barony, even if it's geared towards doing this ridiculous challenge run. you covered the basics as well as some more challenging things that you can do for a normal run. As for run suggestions uhhh, go fight baphomet, don't really see anyone ever go that route. as for who, what, and how you fight him just do that fight in someone elses suggested build run
I tried the challenge and it was pretty easy for me tbh. I collected a shit ton of torches and farmed blocking to lv 40, used trolls to farm ranged because they can tank a lot of hits from the slingshot you have. I also played as a skeleton because the magic resist is necessary if you don't want to die in gnome mines. if you manage to kill everyone there the rest is pretty easy (you can max out your ranged or farm melee from the ghouls in the haunted castle)
Bro i loved your ror2 content, just so happened to get barony yesterday and a 4 am RUclips search led me back to you, i hope you start blowing up man because you deserve it!
@@JonoHasMono Its an Elder Scrolls, like Skyrim. Its an RPG that basically lets you do whatever you want within the game. Like, you can be OP at level 1. I suggest watching a review, like Sseth's. (That one is kinda meme, but it explains the mechanics very well)
Took some melatonin but was too hype for new vid. In a loop of passing out and waking up in a cold sweat to Jono screaming about the run. 10/10 can't wait for a tinker box run
I would love to see you do as "normal" of a clear in barony as possible. I just picked it up with the steam sale and have been loving it. But get my shit pushed in solo when I get to the ruins/temple/desert w/e its called. I know of some secrets etc, but seeing a run with as much min max would be super appreciated for my own sake, and for entertainment purposes. Everyone loves the stacked out build
I just bought this game a few days ago and on sale, I'll compare it to Minecraft and terraria on how cool it is, I've only gotten to level 2 dungeon. This games pretty awesome
Hey man I just found your channel because i´m looking for Barony content. I just watched your godrun with the goatman and I would love for you to upload a good Barony guide, mostly about how to get your character stronger and what you should focus on a run. Because most times with my friend we just die on the first boss but we tried everything we know and it feels like we are clearly missing things. There are very few Barony guides on youtube and without trying to be rude, they are really not good. They explain things that are beyond basic that one finds out by themselfs after a few days of playing but none of them dig dipper into what you should look for and the different possibilities of the game.
To make this even harder, I find that disabling hunger is actually more difficult. Because disabling hunger also disables passive HP regen and now you have to eat to heal miniscule amounts per food eaten, and also lose much more when you eat something bad and hit the vomit percentage chance. If you don't get lucky and get a healing spell you can actually use early on, turning off hunger always makes the game harder in my experience. Frankly, hunger does nothing but take away a few inventory slots for the food. You are never short on food in this game if you actually play properly, explore and kill stuff. So hunger is not really something that adds difficulty in my experience. So since hunger isn't difficult anyways, turning it off and losing HP regen for it is a pure negative. Even if you play something like the healer or cleric and start with healing magic, you don't always have that mana. I guess you can go afk to regen mana and heal as much as you want with hunger turned off in those cases. But if you don't play like that, hunger being turned off will always be an increase to difficulty. TLDR: Turn hunger off, it disables passive HP regen and actually ends up making the game more difficult.
I personally find hunger more difficult because I find healing far too often for it to be an issue in runs with hunger disabled. That, and I can just chug my rat meat when I'm in danger :)
@@JonoHasMono In my experience, the food you find never makes for nearly as much healing as the passive HP regen would have healed. And also, when hunger is turned off, it feels like the chance to vomit SKY ROCKETS for me, across so many runs, I seem to have a 90% chance to vomit on mouldy food instead of the usual 25% :^) And I never ever find healing spells in my runs and only get healing potions through the tedious alchemy system, I'd like to exchange our luck good sir xD
Maybe try goblin wizard, spellbooks becoming a limited use item and them taking up inventory space could pose a decent challenge. Or if that is too similar to the goblin merchant run try skeleton wizard due to lower mana regen.
Hey Jono, I have watched your all your videos on Barony since I discovered this ridiculously hilarious game and your amazing content to it. Can you try the "Boots of speed" achievement with your friends again pleaseeee 🥺🥺
Pretty hard... But this is still not the MOST HARDCORE challenge ever in Barony. I dare you to do this all the same except that you also go through hell 😈 (I have personally done this already)
Sanity is dead, masochism is fuel, the dungeon is full.
Challenge Accepted :)
P.S. Blindfolded Hunter Run ;)
Lyciant what is wrong with you lmao
👀
I've done it before though :
@LyciantYT when is the hardcore Joker run happening? 👀
Great choice of music for this one. TBOI really fits barony surprisingly
Dude I am so glad somebody caught the Isaac music, it's full of bangers
The Binding of Isaac music is awesome here! Great video, you keep the Barony community afloat!
Ayy thanks homie I appreciate the kind words
As someone who plays barony, I like this video. It’s very niceeee

Very good editing man
Pretty hard, BUT...
Automaton Accursed
Automaton accursed isn't really too hard when you try it
Insectoid accursed is where it's at
@@JonoHasMonoInsectoid Accursed is a surprisingly great combo actually since you can eat everything you find. Now Insectoid Conjurer…
jono cooking a video damn 22 MINUTES? GONNA BE A GOOD WATCH
Idk why I do this
@@JonoHasMono keep doing it, shit was BOMB
This guy would have a good time playing Morrowind
Gonna be honest, never heard of it :0

"This joy is about to end cause we're traveling to the sand labyrinth. And boy, do I !!!!!!" Can relate so much
Love the Isaac music. Fits well for yet another game of descending into the depths (of despair)
Awesome video and great watch. Keep it up bro, I'll have to catch a live stream soon.
Your editing is insane
A little late, but God damn, did Downpour's theme fit so well with Citadel.

I love this games, I also emulate the game in mobox and it's beautiful new sub.

nice one
yo that was some good shit 🗿
I've only beaten the game once. It's nuts people are trying to make it harder than it is >
Nice, now do it as an incubus joker :)
Is there a name for this type of game? Like really hard games with math and require a lot of thinking
What score did you get man? Just finished a run got #23 all time but i could never do that shit XD
boomerang only?
now do it as gobbo
How long did this run take?
The final run took me around 2-4 hours I'd guess, while the entire challenge took maybe 16-20 hours across many attempts
@JonoHasMono dang I must really suck, I spent like 4 hours as the conjurer and only got to the desert labyrinth
@@TeamPerilous I doubt it. The amount of practice, deaths, and experience for this challenge is insane, and shouldn't invalidate your achievements :)
where new barony vid?
play brewer (whilst drinking irl)
Just recently got the game and holy crap my friend and i made it to the second boss when tf does this game end we were playing for like 4 hours 😂😂
jokering
