He is without a doubt the best MC in anime ever. Assured, straight forward, knows how to read the situation properly and acts accordingly to it, and most of all, loyal.
Well he is the best Slice of life MC . But usui ( maid sama ) Hatchiman ( oregairu ) are tied with him . But in general there are better MC in other genre .

My head hurts from how much science related stuff are in there.. i cried so much in the movie especially when mai-san said she wanted to live with sakuta forever and when that train station moment, and then she sacrficed herself- but things got better and I cried even more knowing they didn’t ever kiss 😭

Damn this is real romance compared to other animes because usually in anime, the girl just over reacts and about to kill the mc. Well, not all anime romance and some romance are just so good it makes your heart warm
And unlike most anime, their relationship is established early and gives us a place to build off of. We never see progression past the confession stage
harem like but i like how pure and real their love is. the mc guy may have a lot of girls around or connected to him but he only has 1 girl in his heart. i admire the girl as well, having all those around your bf is ok with her. i mean who would'nt be jealous right.
I don't know the synopsis cause I still haven't watched the whole anime, and the last time I read the manga it's titled Seishun Buta Yaro wa Petit Devil Kouhai no Yume wo Minai
