I like this theory, but Kortopi's death kinda puts a plot hole in it. We're already ignoring the time frame that Neon's ability accesses with the theory, but Kortopi's death already makes it wrong. In the poems from the Phantom Troupe predictions it was stated that they'd lose half their legs. That being Pakunoda, Shizuku, Uvo, Shalnark, and the last leg to leave wasn't a death it was Hisoka. Hisoka changed his poem to say he would die rather than betray the group. We could also interpret it as Chrollo who could've been the real 6th member to die if Kurapika didn't get involved. Hisoka mentioned the changes to fate after leaving Chrollo on the platuae. Kurotopi wasn't any of the possible death predictions. Not only that, but even in Hisoka's original poem, Kurapika was described as a customer with scarlet eyes, an angel, and death. This means that if the poem was still accurate, Kurapika would still likely be her killer. Finally, Togashi already spoiled things by saying that the Phantom Troupe and Kurapika were all going to die sooooo
He did not say Kurapika would die, he said: "in any way to write a story, those who domt stray from the path of revenge would always die. So , if kurapika keeps getting consumed by his revenge, only death awaits both him and the troupe members.". Imo, this means hisoka is as good as dead, just like the phantom troupe members, since i feel like he either changed his mind and choose hisoka to take Kurapika role,or always planned for hisoka to be the one on the revenge troupe.
@@Randomshahahahaa AH! Love hearing this so often these days. Is you still mwad that Steller Blade got Censored :< Little boy Gon isn't real so you can stop pretending that dildo is his.
I took my hands off HxH mainly because I didn't like how they humanized their villains. The Phantom Troop 'doing the Itachi's and digging a bunch of purple eyeballs for money, only to show off brotherhood and camaraderie isn't exactly moving. In fact, all I wanted to see of the Phantom Troop was Kurapika hunting down the guilty one by one. Hate to see the Phantom Troop recruit new and 'innocent' members, only to have them implicated in the sins of their predecessors. I really hate villains who employ a bunch of normal people as a kind of narrative 'meat shields' to force the characters driven by righteous retribution into the Antihero corner when they do take their vengeance. I really hate how much screen time they get. I generally don't like how much screen time and wiggle room for redemption arcs the villains in the series get. Even with the Chimera Ants, Ant King Meruem who lived his entire life eating people for their skills and memories, just casually developed empathy and humanity because he was beaten by a weak kid in a board game. It's a wasted redemption arc, because while he managed to make such a moral tutn-around, he went through all that only to get nuked. I also hate how Hisoka got his redemption arc. Meruem couldn't be blamed for how he was born and raised. And he could even be praised for recognizing the value and potential of non-ant life. But Hisoka was set up as some child predator deviant early villain who should've at the very least spent 5-10 years in prison, only to unapologetically join the main cast at some point. I also hate how Gon's dad abandoned him, only to play a big game trying to assemble a team by slapping talented people with ungodly amounts of cash like a douchebag. The author is always inflating/hyping up his villains too much. To the point that the pressure of fan favorability makes him whitewash their characters or extend their arcs because the fan base would riot if he dared progress the story.
Arguably, good writing. Villains don't have to be cartoonishly evil. There's also no clear picture of what happened to the Kurta's. Without spoiling much, recent panels give hints that *someone else* was far more involved, than any actual evidence of Spider involvement beyond interpreting Uvogin's words a certain way.
What blows my mind is nobody saw this coming and they all look at him like he’s the ultimate baddie. Dude, he told everyone his reason for being in the troupe to begin with, was to fight and defeat powerful opponents like Chrollo. Then string girl acts like she needs to get revenge on him for mercing anyone who gets in his way of his Chrollo fight. He warned everyone, don’t get in the middle of his fight!
Kinda sick that Neon's ability is technically picking off the Troupe due to either not fully understanding it due to being stolen or simply ignoring her brief warning about it being bad luck for the fortunes to be read out loud. Can see her getting her ability back in the end.
My thing about the fortunes, the fortunes only tell your future up to a month, of course yes paku and shal both died, but the fortunes don't really have anything to do with shal, he died with kortopi because they both shared their abilities with chrollo, so it was more shalnark and kortopi were at the wrong place at the wrong time
It's too bad though not long before heavens arena battle, chrollo lost his lovely ghost writer ability so there's no way shal could find out this would happen
chrollos condition is to follow the owner's beliefs such as the sun and moons owner. but chrollo didnt follow neons beliefs which is that the writer shouldnt or rather dont want to read the predictions which he did reading the fortunes meaning not following the condition is not having the correct use of the nen, in fact chrollo's ghost writer eventually dissappear from his book most likely returning to neon, wc.
Years ago I made this... "Theory," or more like a wish that Leorio would be the one to kill her. Eventually Kurapika will know about the troupe being on the ship and will go nuts. He has A LOT on his plate right now and it's clear all of the plots in the ship are destined to intertwine soon, and that's too much for Kurapika to handle on his own. So he has no choice but to have help, like the other hunter bodyguards AND Leorio. I really don't want the series to end without him having a fight with someone. So I was thinking, who could he fight? I also had the thing present about certain members dying. Pakunoda, Shalnark are dead. Out of the ones who didn't have their fortunes read, Kortopi is dead. That leaves Feitan, Phinks and Shizuku. Shizuku seems to be the weakest out of those. I don't really remember her fighting style, I saw the anime too long ago. But anyways, that's how 13 year old me decided that she wanted a Leorio VS. Shizuku fight :) Though I also considered Bonolenov as another option.

I love me some hisoka..that man is too good at being an interesting bad guy. He's a threat to the threat
Between Hisoka and Kurapika...they are cooked 😂
Hhhh and kurapika has to be careful too
I tought hisoka only liked children not woman:(
That goes my idol
💀💀💀💀🗣️🗣️🗣️💯💯💯
Hisoka doesn't like children but strong opponents. He hasn't shown any sexual preferences for children. He is excited to experience a good combat.
The only scene where he shows sexual or romantically preferences for a person is when he flirts is with Machi (an adult woman in her mid twenties) in Heaven's Arena.
@@sayther01 yes, but asking if he can grape killua is pretty fucked even if he didn't mean it.
@@IkariNoiwhen did he say that? All I remember is him asking his brother if he could kill him
@@sethotto2826that one scene from the greed island ark where Gon and killua asked hisoka to walk in front of them
This cannot distract us from the fact that bungee gum has properties of both rubber and gum
NOOOOOO 😂
Maybe because I have a thing for girls with glasses (Velma Especially), but I really hope of the ones destined to die of the Phantom Troupe, I hope Shizuku doesn't buy the farm! : O
Hisoka is, not in fact, hunting them. He's playing some gambling
She is so hot, i hope she dont die. Must protect.
Its wild how killing them is kurapikas goal, but hisoka is the one doing it
Is the reason people want her to survive is because she’s a good or because she’s hot?
Mostly the second one, tho she's genuinely a well written character
Any phantom troupe member are not kind people lol
@@dellee4793 a good character doesn't mean a good Person. For Example, in One Piece Arlong Is an awful person, but he's One of the funniest and most compelling characters, as long as you don't forget they're still in the wrong
No I love hisoka to fu..... Here 2 piece's
i’m literally going to cry when shizuku dies she’s literally my favorite member 💔 when she dies i die
No!!! not my mommy Shizuku!!!
NOOOOO NOT THE BADDIE
She is kibda stupid
hisoka went from a pedof to a hero never knew he can avoid the police
Did you know that Hisoka's ability has the properties of both rubber and gum?
EDIT: He is going to use the ability on her in the room to make the prediction come true.
Marvelous! Jolly, good show dear chap this information has filled me with such joy
I thought his ability is the powerhouse of a cell
Did you know that Hisoka’s other ability, texture surprise, has the properties of texture and surprise!
Yup, he is definitely going to need rubber in that room
putting aside diddy behavior, hisoka is a phenomenal character especially with his very cold and calculated demeanor. and in the tower and heavens arena (i forgot what rhe tower is called) when killua and gon were getting ready to register for floor 200 hisoka prevented them from moving forward. i think its blatantly obvious he didnt do this out of consideration or concern for their well being but most likely was for a longer plan and for the fun of the hunt
Not the goth girl 😭😔
Phantom Troupe is not ready for the Dark Continent
No one is ready
I never understood why is he hunting them? Did they do something to him in the past?
Mb because they are in the way to fight Chron, or mb because the start hunting him after he show he's real intentions
@@Tsukasa1929 but he joined group after killing one of their members long before wanting to fight chrollo so it must being a bigger picture than just fighting chrollo.
@@BigpopsMcGeebasically after hisoka revived himself he vowed to kill them all and not let any more opponents fight in preferred conditions, so basically he is going to catch them all off guard
@@zelandy1628 I get that part. My question is more center around why was he interested in the first place? If he simply wanted to infiltrate and fight the strongest nen users then the higher tier of the hunter association would have been the place to go. It seems like some of the story narrative doesn’t make sense if you really evaluate the story so far when it comes to hisoka’s motivation. Part of me thinks since hisoka is so popular among fans, Togashi wanted to keep him in the story.
@@BigpopsMcGee I guess it’s because Chrollo uses their abilities , so by taking them out he’s basically weakening chrollo. Also you might be right about the second part not gonna lie
Hisoka aint letting anyone escape
Damn why the hot one

What if Hisoka vs. the Phantom Troupe was the real HunterxHunter all along.
So are you saying that you don’t know anything? Saved you a few paragraphs
"hisoka is hunting them too" is cold as hell
I think EVERYONE is going to listen me out..
I'm all ears
Imagine looking for Hisoka in the warehouse and you hear his pleasure grunts in the background echoing into your virgin ears
BRO WHAT 😨😨😨

Little man she aint real

@@Randomshahahahaa so?
@@Randomshahahahaa AH! Love hearing this so often these days. Is you still mwad that Steller Blade got Censored :<
Little boy Gon isn't real so you can stop pretending that dildo is his.
"Destined to happen" only in a universe where this series isn't on eternal hiatus.
I was all ears until you said whitewashing 😅
@@eomin It is a story, and there is a threshold for everyone until the story doesn't become interesting for them
Arguably, good writing.
For the longest time, I've always seen her as Velma
That thumbnail made something snap something inside of me
"My bungee gum (that contains the properties of both rubber and gum btw) will snap your vacuum cleaners neck"
Can't wait to know what happens in 10 years!
Wasnt the fortune less likely to happen if the writer knew what he wrote accdg to Neon herself? I mean they did discuss it with themselves
Funny thing is Hisoka pay Illumi to kill him
That is why I want to read the manga
chrollos condition is to follow the owner's beliefs such as the sun and moons owner. but chrollo didnt follow neons beliefs which is that the writer shouldnt or rather dont want to read the predictions which he did reading the fortunes meaning not following the condition is not having the correct use of the nen, in fact chrollo's ghost writer eventually dissappear from his book most likely returning to neon, wc.
if the manga ever actually gets there. Don't remember last time the manga got updated.
S tier waifu. I hope she lives
It isn’t a fate if it can be avoided. It is why the trope should never be used.
I could see kurapika ultimately being the one who seperates her by going after chrollo while hisoka gpoes for the kill on her
Cooked” is crazy
True 😂
Shizuku is bait for Hisoka, since he knows she can drain his blood if she isn’t taken out first. And helps buy Chrollo time
