This Steadicam shot turned out really cool. I learned a lot by doing a shot this long and a lot about shooting in a difficult environment.
Take a look at all of my gear

This is a steadicam shot I did and had some behind the scenes footage of it so I thought I would do a voice over describing some of my thoughts and actions. this was for a for practice. Hopefully useful for other steadicam operators, directors of photography, and camera operators as well as anyone into movie making, filmmaking, cinematography, gimbals and camera stabilizers. Shot with a insta360 one x, a (black magic pocket cinema camera 4k) BMPCC4k and M-1 volt steadicam with a g70-x arm.

Yeah, kept me safer in the sketchy plants 😀
Wow great !!!!

Brilliant work, could watch that sequence over and over. Exceptional timing and spot on framing. Congratulations.
Thanks so much 😁

I appreciate it
Incredible work on that one shot!! Great BTS commentary too!!

Rad!!
😁
Very nice work SteadiRed! Fantastic steadicam work!
Thanks, I appreciate it
This is great, makes you realise about all of the thought that goes into video productions that we take for granted. I somehow missed this when you first put it out.
I had a 1/4 x 20 bolt snap today, top half of my rig hit the ground, luckily only bent an audio connector. Unfortunately it was 1/2 hour before kick off and I was 20 miles from home, ruined my day really, but we won the match.
Thanks so much 😁
I have never had a bolt brake but that really sucks
take love brother🖤

This was so different from what I've seen from you before. I really liked it, I'm not sure if you decide what to film or not

Thank you so much. This is very educational. I always wanted to learn how to do this type of shots in film school, but they refused to teach us because of the dangerous of using the equipment. 😆👍😆
thanks so much! definitely experiment but stay safe😁

thanks so much!
nice shots
Thanks
love from nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
Thanks 😁
Wow, this really makes me want to shift from gimbals, is the choice of framing yours as an operator on the fly? or is it pre-planed as a team?
awesome! i often make up the way the shot will look as we are rehearsing but its not really on the fly ether. for this to really work it needs to be timed with the actors. i have the shot planed (although changes happen) before i ever pick up the camera.
✊✊
😁
Wow! That was AMAZING!! One question, who’s the other person with you (other than the actors)?
I think this could be the guy who pulls focus all time?
Awesome! Glad I could help
Nice
Thanks
Greatly done dude..Being an Op myself..its really difficult in Don Juan...i always use a spot for with me in any situation..but looking at you...it gives me chills...well i would love to see how you dynamically balance and specially how you Tune up your arm for both a lighter camera and a heavier rig like Alexa SXT or Even Mini.. Please make a video on both of them...Have sent you a request as well. Do check. Its Faraz Alam.
His dynamic balance is so on point....cus there no how I would done the frontal movement without the camera going off a bit
Thanks so much man! Good idea!
Where did you send the request?
What lens?
What was the focal length at 4:02?
What is frame rate of this video?
24 but the bts is 30
Bmpcc 6k ???
its the 4k, i like it a lot
I Trying to find where the câmera is to put kkkkkkkkkk
Sorry, I don't understand
u know me
do i?
@@SteadiRed i am your friends 😁😁😁
It's really cool pictures! And horrible place for operator! I'm so sorry, but in 1:07 i can see the "photographer's ears" (screen bottom) :(((( But of course mine "like" is for you!!!
thanks man! it was a difficult, but beautiful, place to shoot.
Can I borrow number phone?
