I went absurd and have my Space Type riding the Build Divers Machine Rider in its bipedal mode. I was looking for a display stand and that was the first thing I could reach.. I'm not sure why, but I don't have the heart to separate the two. The only real customization that I did to the Space Type was swap the base grey Portanova unit with the white Portanova (aka the RX78-G3 colours). The dash of purple adds nicely to the scheme.
I just bought two of these, I love this design and the customization potential is huge. I can't wait to build them up and maybe work on some hand painting on the second one.
As someone buy 2 of these for the four leg form I would like to warn ppl looking to do the same. The connection is very weak due the fact that you need to connect the backpack into the butt armor. And only two 3mm is holding it together.
Definitely true, I'm planning on gluing mine but considering painting first since that connection area seems hard to reach. The butt armor on mine is also pretty loose so I glued it.
Cheap enough to be disposable Robust enough to be an action figure Compatibility with HG and 3mm Fully customizable kitbashers dream Bruh... Take my money
When mine arrives, I'm making mine a space explorer type as I think many will. I wish this included smaller claw style hands that could be used to collect rocks or other samples from space. The big claw is unique but I think it takes away from the overall feeling this kit seems to have. I just don't see this kit as a warrior looking type especially with those legs. I look forward to be proven wrong by other kit builders though! Mine will be exploring ice planets though!
I can't decide whether to buy two of the space types for the customization potential or buy just one and get two separate long arm kits to match the the light grey.
Love some of the 30 MM designs and the easy customization you can do, but I wish Bandai made plugs to cover up some of those hard points. Too many open holes in the completed build.
Imagine this set but on Red Portanova, and maybe repaint the armor kit in chrome. But white with red could be cool I think, especially with a red eye in the middle of the white head.
I kind of like it but I dont know, its a bit too white. Would definitely need to add some grey to the legs to balance it out a bit. Also The weapon might also need some light grey so its not just black. But way too much effort and worry it might spoil it :P knowing me.
the new leg units reminds me of a Michael Bay Transformers movie robot legs but in a good way because Bay's Transformers designs looks messy on-screen.
I know one thing you don't like about these kits is how many hard points are on them. well Bandai has a solution for that. included with the 30MM Option Parts Set 1 you can get caps to hide the hard points. so if you're going to customize these and you're not going to use all of the hard points then you can get a bunch of these option part sets and hide all of the hard points. www.1999.co.jp/eng/10645862

Getting some bionicle vibes!
Also some Titanfall strider titan vibes
I'm getting bayberry star scream vibes with those legs.
Gundam lego. That's what I thought. Though the bionicle pcs aren't very good at making mecha.

Thanks for the heads up
These are such cool kits, fixin' to order some at USAGS soon!
Do it! 👍
Definitely going for a more scientific/exploratory style with mine.
I want to see some pics
@@laurentj04 sounds sexual..
@@laurentj04 that’s what she said
This kit is pretty awesome. I can see this being something straight out of Gundam Sentinel.
Got that reference.
This is the first 30 minutes mission I like, thanks for the review
The armor at the back of the arm is neat on the shoulder
Cheap enough to be disposable

Yep that’s about right!

the most awesome 30mm as of the moment 😁😁
Actually look like a moon robo
I swapped out the grey parts for the armour of the white Portanova. Made it look more like an astronaut.

if i'm not mistaken the plugs cover is included in 30mm Option Set.
The Bandai set comes with like 2 plugs. There's a Kotobukiya set that comes with a couple dozen of them.
And wave detail parts have those, its not known to be used for that though, but it is for that
Have any plans on doing an armored core?
Zup Zack, thanks for the video bro. This one looks a lot nicer, to me at least. 😎👍🏼

I'm just curious but do this kit and the alto flight type but did they include the regular rifle
Nope
Cool kit!
are the stickers waterslides ?
Nope

And... it’s sold out. Lol.
Good for USGS though. Still keeping in business in these troubled times.
will the USA Gundam store ship to Canada?
Yes

Smash like if you understood why he put 2001 for the chest decals!
3 people were left outside in space.
Very cool.
This variant just reminds me of the strider titan from Titanfall.
Don´t you think that a 4 legs robot in space is kind of pointless?

That has like 2 plugs in it. Kotobukiya's Detail Cover A set comes with a couple dozen.
@@TsorovanZero it comes with 12 if you count the big thrusters. which is enough to cover one kit. they're all different shapes though.
i have it,i have not built it yt though,so not sure what im doing with it.i do know i dont really like the chicken legs.
A weapon to surpass Metal Gear
The eye for this kit, will only fit this kit and unlike the other 30mm, you lose this eye (lens) you won't replace it
Mmmmm chicken legs.
Why can't they just produce this line in 1/100.

I love 30MM in concept, but they just look like toys out of the box to me, and they’re so blocky that their weapons look out of place on gunpla.
