@Ribbat Ali Phantoms are basically undead mobs (They take extra damage from Smite) which are attracted to a player’s insomnia.. Obviously they spawn when the player hasn’t slept for days 🙄

@Ribbat Ali Jeb’s description of the phantom at the mob vote mentioned that they’re _attracted_ to insomnia, so they don’t just appear out of nowhere when you haven’t slept, they still exist somewhere in the world, at least during the night. You should watch RetroGamingNow’s theory about the phantoms as he talking about this subject at one part.

You definitely correct, unlike creepers, cats hiss at phantoms that are pursuing a player, meaning that they’re intentionally warding them off. (This only happens in Java) It could that creepers are scared of them for the same reason, since ocelot hunt down and kill creepers in Minecraft Dungeons. Also, I think the reasoning behind why cats hate phantoms is because they “keep the nightmares away”.
That mean the reason why phantoms only come when you don’t sleep because the cat can’t kill it
But when you sleep, how do cats get phantom membrane as a gift?

the phantoms appear when you didn't sleep for a while , so the cat found a way to find and kill phantoms . so in minecraft we're not alone

Phantoms also won't attack if you look at them (pretty much the opposite of enderman, which DO attack if you look them in the eyes) which is why I'd stare at the sky (if other mobs aren't around) whenever phantoms spawn

Dragonic i have a theory about where the soul energy and portal energy comes from and they came from heat energy let me explain. When we want to go to the nether we had to light up the nether portal we need flint N steel which is an item that can produce fire after we light the portal up the heat energy is absorbed by the obsidian creating the portal energy now for the soul energy is pretty simple if there's life there will be heat so i believe that souls have some kind of heat energy in them it is why when we use flint N steel on a soul block(soul sand and soul soil) it produce soul fire and to make it more believeable since souls already have heat it adds up the heat more and eternally burns since soul blocks have unlimited souls which means unlimited heat. Now i would like to talk about blaze i believe that the blaze is made out of glow stone, how you ask? if we look at the blaze's color it is yellow and bright similar too glow stone i believe that the ancient builders used glow stone as an energy to add this up glow stone are used to light up respawn anchor which means glow stone also produce heat which is why the respawn anchor have the portal energy inside of it and the reason for why blaze rods are orange bright while that before blaze was killed it was yellow bright is because i believe the blaze roads heat spreads around the blaze and it also make me think that heat energy is the energy for the mechanics inside the blaze to be activated now back to the blaze rods i think after the we kill the blaze all the heat goes to one or two blaze rods which means it had more heat than blaze again since it isn't used to power up anything. Now to the ender eye it's also pretty simple since it is mixed with blaze powders it had heat which is the reason why it glows and can open the portal to the end, I would like to add up to my theory about how souls had heat energy let's take a look at mobs i believe that every single mobs that have glowing eyes have souls which is the reason why zombies and skeletons eyes don't glow at all now even tho i said that anything that doesn't have glowing eyes doesn't have souls they can still be risen by heat as evidence well soul energy have heat which means you can bring things to life using heat which is the reason why the undead are risen during the night they got heat energy from the moon also creeper's eyes are a little bright which means it could have some soul energy? idk but anyway what I'm trying to say is every single energy all are activated or have heat source which means heat energy are the true reason why everything has energy. Holy crap i been typing for 36 minutes .

This is actually an amazing theory, also about soul sand and soil, when you put on soul speed boots?! (Not sure if thats the name i forgot lol) it releases a particle and when you look closely, it looks like a soul. Its blue and brown, similar to the colour of soul fire and soul sand. You can also watch another video about this. I think the channel is Wiffies and they also make content similar to Dragonic.

Phantoms attack you if you don't sleep so maybe they know the cat only attacks other mobs when their owner is sleeping.

what i think it is: cats are nocturnal and hunt birds and small mammals, the phantoms likely go after us when we are weak from sleep deprivation, making them a likely already weak hunter and giving cats another upper hand
cats are mostly active at dawn and dusk as most of us know, well.. at that time we ppl are still asleep, so yeah, pretty obvious they will hunt at that moment when ur sleeping.

I think phantoms fear cats because they are birds and cats in real life like to chase and eat birds so it makes sense that the phantom would avoid cats so they don’t get hunted by the cats.

I think that is because warped forests are the least hostile nether environment so endermen mostly live there to be safe from potential danger. Warped forests are also very rare and most of the nether creatures stay away from there because it is plausible that they fear cyanish colour as they think that the warped forests contain free souls which are roaming, but invisible to the eye and potentially dangerous. This hints the reason why Piglins are scared of soul-related light source and hoglins are scared of warped mushrooms. But if that is the reason, why endermen live there? There might be a logical answer to this:- we know from the end city that endermen are the only living fauna with shulker and endermites there and endermen definitely were the ones to build the castles because we know for a fact that they can pick up blocks and place them. But picking and placing doesn't mean being able to make a castle but endermen are still as intelligent as us. How?? So, here's my theory:- endermen are beings from different dimension with human-level intellect. They already had discovered the nether portal by completely different materials only available in the end and had a unique recipe of making eyes of ender which we don't know. But not-so-long ago, they discovered the overworld. Unfortunately, the ender portal broke and they lost all connection to their own dimension. So, they started to know about the overworld. They only pick and place the materials in the overworld because they can't have any information about the material and crafting it might be catastrophic. I theorize that neter portal ruins are actually the nether portal of endermen. HOW?? I do have an answer. They might have seen a player, who existed before us, building the nether portal. They were familiar with the material, which was obsidian(it is available in end dimension) and so they tried to imitate but they used a different ender chemical to ignite the portal. It actually worked! The endermen broke an obsidian or two of the nether portal from the nether so that other mobs don't enter it. The ender chemical was probably very hot and radioactive and spilled on the ground and as a result, the nearby blocks might have turned into netherrack and some tools of gold lying nearby turned into lava. But you will ask, HOW DID THEY KNOW MAKING GOLD TOOLS WAS SAFE?? I have the answer:- As I mentioned before, the endermen went to the nether before the overworld and they were familiar with gold, which spawned in the nether. This explains why there are mostly gold tools( idk if there are other things who spawn in the chests of portal ruins) in the chests of portal ruins. Endermen already knew that materials for making their version of the eyes of ender were available in warped forests which is why they are in warped forests. So, the endermen in nether are actually the endermen who are trying to make the eyes of ender and go back to their dimension asap. It is also possible the endermen who traveled the overworld interdimensionally meet the endermen of the end who came to the nether from their portal and some of the endermen may have finally reached their own dimension and meet their fellow friends at the end. This can mean that the nether dimension is like a gateway dimension in minecraft. There might be potholes in my theory but this is the most accurate answer I could give you. But I answered a different question, which is "why do endermen spawn in all dimensions and why do they spawn mostly in warped forests in the nether?" I didn't answer your exact question because endermen also spawn in other parts of the nether but I know for a fact that this answer will help you.

My theory is that phantoms are scared of cats because cats like to attack anything that's smaller than them and petting cats can reduce stress just like sleeping can.

I have a theory on your video about why villagers have large noses I remember you saying in the video that you didn't have a theory on who built the village's but I think I know who if it is true that the humans and the villagers were evolving at the same time then maybe the humans stumbled across the villagers and saw they had to live in trees to survive the humans thought to themselves how they can help so they learned how to speak villager and told them that they would build a new home for them so the humans built a village and even showed villagers how to protect themselves those who knew how to would later become iron golems and the reason they drop iron is because they aren't actually made from iron but they are wearing armour and you can make a iron golem with iron because they had the armour on for so long it became a part of there skin now back to the main theory when the village was made the villagers stayed in the village for years and years not knowing that the one's who gave them a home have sense went extinct except for one that is the player
