For anyone going for the “Complete Catalogue” achievement, black cats cannot spawn naturally. They only spawn in witch huts (or at midnight under a full moon in villages, apparently, but I spent weeks trying this to no avail). Witch huts are kind of rare, but chunkbase has a locator.

Nice video but there was quite alot of missed important information about foxes so here: Tamed foxes attack any mob that attacks the player that tamed it, this also includes other players. While the foxes attack damage is quite meagre, you can give them a sword by throwing it at them and they will actually use it when attacking. Enchantments like fire aspect and smite work when the foxes use a sword with those enchantments. To get the sword back, simply throw any food to the fox and the fox will swap the sword for that item, and then they will eat the food after a bit, this also applies to any other non-food item a fox obtains. If giving a fox a weapon, make sure you don't have any food lying on the floor or berry bushes they can harvest from because the fox can swap the weapon for the food and it might despawn if you aren't aware quickly enough. Foxes can also wear armour, at least in bedrock edition, all you need to do is throw armour at them and if they don't have any other amour on they will wear it although it is not visible on the fox. Enchantments like thorns work when you hit a fox with thorns armour. Unfortunately, the only way to get the armour back is to kill the fox, I found out the hard way when I died next to my friend's tamed fox and it stole all my netherite armour which was on the floor.
@@munchrat69 First find two foxes. They spawn in biomes like the taiga and snowy taiga and their variants. Make sure you're crouching with at least 2 berries in your inventory, these can be either glow berries or sweet berries, then feed the berries to the foxes. This works better if you have them both on leads so they cannot run away from you. Once the foxes have produced offspring, the baby fox will be automatically tamed or 'trusted'. This means it will never run away from you. At the start it may look like it's running from you if it is near a parent or an untamed adult fox because it tries to follow the adult who WILL be running from you as it is untamed. What works best is waiting til the breed cool down resets, then breeding the two untamed foxes to get another baby. This is so you can take 2 babies away and breed those together to have infinite tamed foxes to do your bidding and you can do all the cool things I mentioned above with them (don't mind the minecraft incest lol). Hope this helped.
Some more notes: Wolves can actually be bred and fed any type of meat, including rotten flesh and cooked meat, as well as raw meat. This applies to untamed wolves, too, but the babies won't be tamed if the parents aren't tamed. Untamed wolves naturally attack foxes, sheep, strays, and skeletons. Foxes, strays, and skeletons both run away from untamed wolves. Tamed wolves also naturally attack strays and skeletons, and strays and skeletons also run away from them. Llamas and wolves fight each other naturally (unless they're both tamed), but wolves run away if the llama's strength value is 3 or above. Untamed cats will naturally attack chickens. If you make a nearby tamed allay hear a note of a note block, they will drop the items they pick up at that note block for a short amount of time. They have 2 inventory slots that work as normal; an "information" slot (the item you give them) and a "storage" slot (the items they pick up). Axolotls will also naturally fight drowened. Sometimes, when you're fighting alongside them, they give you regeneration and an advancement. When they're low on health, they play dead and get the regeneration effect. While playing dead, hostile mobs won't attack them. Untamed ocelots and foxes naturally attack chickens. Foxes can pick up items, but they always prefer sweet berries. They can pick seet berries and use items (for example, totems of undying and fire aspect swords work the same as for the player.) The calico cat texture was inspired by Minecraft: Story Mode. Horses, donkeys, skeleton horses, and mules are other tamable mobs. If a rabbit is named "Toast," you get a special texture. You can out a saddle on a pig and move while riding it using a carrot on a stick. You can't move llamas while riding them. You can move striders while riding them using a fungus on a stick. Skeleton horses in Bedrock Edition don't need saddles to be ridden, unlike horses, donkeys, mules, pigs, and striders. Sheep can be kept as a pet since if you name them "_jeb" they become rainbow-colored, but if you shear them you only get their original color.
Cats and foxes also attack rabbits, and foxes also attack fish, white foxes are more likely to attack fish while red are more likely to attack chickens and rabbits. You can also equip foxes with armour although it wont appear on their model.

for the cats, if you have a village and tame all the cats they will spawn back as different breeds. I’ve tried it in bedrock so I guess it’s an infinite cat generator.
I seem to keep losing my parrots when I start to cross the river from my jungle. I could have sworn you were about to say that they don’t follow in water. I did notice that they come back to me when returning to the jungle
I have been playing minecraft for many many years, and I am shocked that cats can give you gifts. Since when is that in the game?! Very informative video. I thought I already knew everything. 😂
Actually for the cat instead of chasing them once you get a little close the first time you stay there and they will run away but then they will come back until they feel that you are safe or however their program feels
Ive got a pet spider xd. I didnt find some way to tame it, just spawned it by blocking out light sources. Gotta love how it always tries to bite me when i walk close
Man, i wish they made ocelots and foxes tameable! Well, atleast its realistic, because a baby wild animal (like domesticated wild cats for example) will probably trust you
i cant stop watching your vids, they're very informative and occasionally funny! i loved the cat-alogue. i couldnt hear the parrots make the mobs' sounds tho u didnt stop talking 😅
The axolotl is the Aztec god of fire and lightning, Xolotl, which disguised himself as a salamander to avoid being sacrificed according to Aztec mythology. I think it would be really cool if you could name tag a blue axolotl "Xolotl" it would gain the ability to shoot fireballs at mobs on the surface and lightning when under water and have a glow to it like enchanted items. It don't have Reddit but if anyone like this idea feel free to post it to the Minecraft suggestions subreddit. 😊
My parrot just scared me half to death omfg I knew about the mimicry but it just made the scariest noise like- It wasn't like any in-game mob I know of. It was a cross between the wind, breathing, and some kind of cave sound. I am no where near A cave or any other mobs. Me scared.
Bunnies also go for dandelions. Found that out yesterday on bedrock. I don’t know if you can breed them that way, I was just collecting a layer of dirt on a flower mountain and putting the pretty flowers back.
I think horses and donkeys can also be considered as pets. I found taming them can be quite hard and I expected an explanation of that in this video, so I still don't understand their taming mechanics. Anyway, horses can make transportation easier. Donkeys make trading easier if your base (i.e. where your farms are) is far from villages. However, I prefer mules instead of donkeys because they're faster and can jump a bit higher. Mules are born upon crossbreeding horses and donkeys using golden apple/carrot.
Not sure if it's an actual feature but on a world I had a carrot farm and after a while a Rabbit was then in the farm, which I thought was neat since I fenced off the farmland to keep sheep from eating or jumping on it
I think you skipped a feature of the fox. I don’t know about Java, but on Bedrock I believe foxes will fight for you if you are attacked if they trust enough. I remember back when they first introduced foxes, I breed a whole Island of them. One day a drowned popped up and hit me, and then next thing I know is every fox on that island rushed to my defense.
1:20 Choosing to name the cat breeds by running around instead of making them sit in a line really captures the experience of owning a cat

What about the horse

Thank you for your hardwork and amazing videos bro
Creepers: *exists*
Cats: who's your favorite fearless hero?
That great feeling when Eyecraftmc uploads.
When you lie down on the bed with a cat, it'll also purr ❤
Rip Jelli, queen of Minecraft. ❤️
You missed horses, mules, and donkeys
for the cats, if you have a village and tame all the cats they will spawn back as different breeds. I’ve tried it in bedrock so I guess it’s an infinite cat generator.
rip jellie you'll be missed
I seem to keep losing my parrots when I start to cross the river from my jungle. I could have sworn you were about to say that they don’t follow in water. I did notice that they come back to me when returning to the jungle
This guy makes such great videos
As always, the most knowledgeable and helpful minecraft youtube to even someone with hundreds of hours in minecraft.🎉
You are the best minecraft youtuber. ❤️
Every time I RUclips something for Minecraft I look for this guy first. Subbed.
So excited to watch this tonight! My husband and I watch your vids at the end of the night to relax and unwind after a long day. :)
Animals for President!
My top fav Bedrock teacher right now ❤
I have been playing minecraft for many many years, and I am shocked that cats can give you gifts. Since when is that in the game?! Very informative video. I thought I already knew everything. 😂
Actually for the cat instead of chasing them once you get a little close the first time you stay there and they will run away but then they will come back until they feel that you are safe or however their program feels
Can you breed two calico cat together?
You have a guide for everything!! 🔥
And I thought I'm a Minecraft expert 😅
Fun fact about wolves: They can actually eat rotten flesh and breed them with it, So it makes rotten flesh have a use
Fun fact! The wolf can use armor now! And it’s super sturdy too
Ive got a pet spider xd. I didnt find some way to tame it, just spawned it by blocking out light sources. Gotta love how it always tries to bite me when i walk close
Man, i wish they made ocelots and foxes tameable! Well, atleast its realistic, because a baby wild animal (like domesticated wild cats for example) will probably trust you
i hope you reach a million subs this year😁
Bring back bunny taming!
Amazing video as always could you make a video explaining cords?
i cant stop watching your vids, they're very informative and occasionally funny! i loved the cat-alogue. i couldnt hear the parrots make the mobs' sounds tho u didnt stop talking 😅
He explains very neat and clean in detail ❤️you bro
I started playing minecraft a month ago and your my go-to guy!! Plz don't stop:)
BABE BABE WAKE UPP EYECRAFTMC DROPPED NEW KNOWLEDGEEE
The axolotl is the Aztec god of fire and lightning, Xolotl, which disguised himself as a salamander to avoid being sacrificed according to Aztec mythology. I think it would be really cool if you could name tag a blue axolotl "Xolotl" it would gain the ability to shoot fireballs at mobs on the surface and lightning when under water and have a glow to it like enchanted items. It don't have Reddit but if anyone like this idea feel free to post it to the Minecraft suggestions subreddit. 😊
thxx
I had NO IDEA about the llamas!!! Omgggg I've been playing MC for YEARS and I NEVER knew that
Your the best Minecraft RUclipsr I have ever watched. No joke
ngl they should make it to if you keep feeding cats they get fat and run around less
My parrot just scared me half to death omfg
I knew about the mimicry but it just made the scariest noise like-
It wasn't like any in-game mob I know of. It was a cross between the wind, breathing, and some kind of cave sound. I am no where near A cave or any other mobs.
Me scared.
True thanks eyecraft
When you will make updated version with camels don't forgot again about donkeys and mules! 🐪
Bunnies also go for dandelions. Found that out yesterday on bedrock. I don’t know if you can breed them that way, I was just collecting a layer of dirt on a flower mountain and putting the pretty flowers back.
My mind was absolutely blown by the allay duplication!
Wow! I learned a lot !!!🎉. Thank you!
I was waiting for horses!! but I loved this vid I learned some thingsss
I wish wolves came in different variations.
Thanks for the video!
He deserves an oscar
this was rly helpful! ^^
Great guide as always
Not sure if it's an actual feature but on a world I had a carrot farm and after a while a Rabbit was then in the farm, which I thought was neat since I fenced off the farmland to keep sheep from eating or jumping on it
Rabbits also like dandelions
I think you skipped a feature of the fox. I don’t know about Java, but on Bedrock I believe foxes will fight for you if you are attacked if they trust enough. I remember back when they first introduced foxes, I breed a whole Island of them. One day a drowned popped up and hit me, and then next thing I know is every fox on that island rushed to my defense.
Love these vids, been an avid Minecraft player for almost a decade. I’m curious as to why horses weren’t included.? 🤔
Horses have a whole Eyecraft video of their own from 10 months back so it would have been a bit repetitive to see that in this video too
Love this damn channel. So useful.
