If a zombie picks up a totem of undying, there’s actually a way to get it back! Just give it a sword of any type, and it’ll prefer the sword over the totem
Oh 😮 thats new for me
Thx bro 😁
ty
Thanks homie
If your in bedrock don't punch zombie or he ain't gonna get the drop items

One detail about the sun protection part (11:13), their helmets will constantly take damage and eventually break if the sun is up.
true, I remember philza collecting a diamond zombie in one of his worlds, he made it clear to his chat that the sun will break its helmet and gave it a solid block above it.
Iirc, this can be circumvented by giving a head item that has no durability like a carved pumpkin or a mob head.
Wow I did not know that, thanks!
Wow nice
@@ellisbourgoin3932 pumpkins are endless
Fun fact: if your home base has enough villagers to consider it a “village”, zombie raids can happen too!
I had 20 zombies show up at my house…
bonus fact: the original zombie drop was a feather, before chickens were added
Fun fact: The Zombie is actually the oldest mob currently in the game since the human mob gets removed
I always assumed the potatoes and carrots dropped by zombies were supposed to be an undigested last meal of the living person before they got turned into zombies.
And they probably mauled the iron golems, as an explanation of dropping iron ingots
I think they steal it from villages😂
I thought *sense carrots and potatoes are plants that grow underground* that the zombie just had them growing out of there body’s.
@@lelandholmquist2467 That's a really cool theory!!!
Parent disappointing furry lmao
so early it says "you didn't about"
edit: im famous
😂
It's still that
Hey, I made it early enough for that, too!
Lmao i just realized 💀
I was so excited about the upload that I didn't even notice 😂
Ive always interpreted zombies having crops, iron ingots and tools as that they were just normal people/villagers and those were things they just had on them at the time of "turning"
I wish there's a zombie horseman wearing a pumpkin and wielding its shovel, just like how the skeletons can ride their own horses
Yeah they should make the zombie horse useful and able to appear somehow in survival
The traders threatened by zombies are actually good source for invisibility potion, although they will run and drink potion quickly, making killing them pretty difficult
Golden carrot is so abundant by farmer villagers and with fermented eye it's so cheap anyway ●︿●
But free things is different feeling 🗿
@ryuk2883 yeah dude 1 emerald for 3 golden carrots is so good, I know what you mean tho I feel dirty for buying everything for so cheap
If the wandering trader doesn't have good trades, I wait till night to kill him. I have 4 potions of invisibility so far~
@@testsubject6829 Well, actually you don't have to wait until night. When they are hit by projectiles from a mob, they will start to drink invisibility potion, so you can hit them with a sword and line yourself up with them so they get spitted by the training llama, and then quickly kill them with a looting III sword
I also noticed that normal zombies have the same tendency to group up and chase the player as zombie piglins do. This occurs when they don't see you though. If you hit a zombie while it doesn't see you (like in a zombie spawner and you covered the entrance a bit), all the nearby zombie will come closer to the hurt one.
they are just slow and it is not so noticeable
Obviously, the ingot drop is rare because it takes a LOT of zombies to kill a golem that zombie who drops those happens to last hit and survive
I'm guessing the iron drop lore is the lucky zombie that finished off an iron golem.
5:20 small mistake, that feature got removed from bedrock a few years ago. While the drowned may still be converted with a trident, it will not drop when killed
I'll add to your comment, I haven't finished the first 30 seconds of the video, but I think I know what you are talking about. I had a zombie spawner that was set up to drown the zombies and turn them into drowned to get tridents. I believe I got nautilus shells, and copper, but I couldn't get a trident. Then I did some research and found they removed the chance of converted zombies to have tridents. Also my non drowned zombie farm is really deep and uses water in 4 corners to push zombies toward a centre hole. This occasionally gives me glow squid drops because they will fall and die. So I'd like to note that
Not so fun fact a drowned with a trident with impaling v is so broken especially if it has been given a strength potion in bedrock
When you've been grinding for hours, of course, this becomes a not-so-small mistake.
I remember being in cave in bedrock edition and seeing a zombie that had a baby riding its back, once i killed the zombie the baby ran to a spider and just hopped on and i had no idea that they could do that and even thought it was bug lol
Another fact: On Bedrock, when a zombie turns into a drowned, they drop all their armor and held items. These items are also at full health so long as you didn't hit the zombie. Lastly, there is a bug with this that has been around ever since zombies could turn into drowned. That bug is that on rare occasions, zombies that turn into drowned won't drop their helmet. This causes a slight visual bug because drowned have a larger head, so the helmet will be inside their head and will show through at some small spots on their head.
What is not mentioned is that in 1.20 it is much more likely to meet a zombie holding an iron shovel than any other type of instrument
Ive been building a farm recently focusing on the zombie reinforcement mechanic and thought I would share a couple of extra facts.
1. Leader zombies base health is set to 20 but there max health can go much higher (90+) if harming potion is used to heal them
2. chicken jockeys and other jockey variants will not be moved by any entity interaction and will not be teleported if the riding zombie is targeted in a command
3. Reinforcements can spawn from any source of damage as long as they have any target (e.g. in my farm im designing I use magma blocks and villagers as targets)
4. reinforcements can track their targets through solid blocks and will not retarget another target unless out of range, moved to another dimension or their original target dies
cool
Really missed your videos. Glad to have you back!
More facts!
- Through drowned conversion, Zombies also become a source of copper.
- Aside from the Giant, there is also the unused Zombie Horse, which is functionally pretty identical to the Skeleton Horse. As with Skeleton Horses, the most unique property is that these mobs don't drown or float, and can be used to ride along the ocean floor, provided the player has some form of water breathing.
- Zombies are one of two mobs that are playable in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, the other one being Endermen, although between the two, Zombies are much more true to the source material.
- Putting a hat on a zombie will not protect it from daylight entirely, as the head armor actually absorbs the damage from the sun and will, after a few day cycles, break from the damage. I can't find any test proof of this, but I think zombies wearing carved pumpkin will be safe indefinitely because carved pumpkins do not have a durability stat.
awesome vid idea eyecraft, maybe try unknown villager facts??
I know it’s never been explained but I always assumed that zombies were supposed to of picked up the carrots or potatoes as they clawed themselves from the ground!
I just assume lore wise, it what they died with
So many things I didn’t know! Thanks as always!!
You got membership
Nice
The best strategy for early survival is find some zombies with swords and golden armor and make them drown, so that you can take their thing all in one piece!
I remember getting full iron with that before lmao. Imagine the diamond zombie spawns in your world on your first day and you do that. Even better if it has enchants.
Pretty sure that's only bedrock though. I know it doesn't work guaranteed in java.
@@sixolddereks2130 true!
I'm surprised you didn't mention the swarming behaviour, where if you attack one, all zombies in a radius are aggravated, even further than 35 blocks, and they don't even need line of sight.
Is that why i get jumped by zombies????
21:18 I like how there is a zombie right when he say "there isn't even a single zombie here"
If you lightly suffocate a zombie in sand, will it dry out into a husk? It'd probably just die but maybe there IS a way to turn a zambo into an ashy boi.
I've been playing my survival world for over 2000 minecraft days and I came across a zombie in full diamond armour about a month ago, was so cool but I didn't spare it which I kind of regret now.
Doesn't matter how long I play this game, you always manage to show me stuff I didn't know. Thanks for that 😀
Missed you man, I guess one day you may not recover from one of those outros eh?
It's been 4 days since the last video. Is Eyecraft coming back to regular posting? If it is, that's very cool. Thank you!
Gurgle gurgle
I found full diamond zombie last week : )
In Minecraft Bedrock, if a Zombie with armour turns into a drowned, it drops it's undamaged armour if you didn't hit it
I woke up at 4 am to catch this video, nice job. Keep it up Eye.
The only mc channel i can listen to and stay sane. I appreciate your calm and detailed style of videos, and always learn something new!
the only youtuber i know of who really tells unknown facts
Great vid Eye you always make something I never expect!!!!
“50 facts you didn’t about zombies”
I would never have thought I would like to know this many facts about zombies in Minecraft!!
Thanks 🙏 I appreciate the video a lot🔥
I love capturing two zombie villagers so I can start a trading hall later. If your base is in the badlands like mine, it's way more convenient than kidnapping someone from a village & transporting them hundreds if not thousands of blocks. I like how that gives us the option to start up a new village nearly anywhere.
Really interesting!
Best Minecraft channel out there.
You make the best videos. I work hard and have no time to play Minecraft anymore. I have sons of all ages that love this game. Your videos make this dad look like a Minecraft expert to a 6 year old! Thank you my dude.
Dad of the decade right here y'all
"spawn chunks are OP" video talking about the different approaches to spawn chunks staying loaded. I've seen people completely fill them with farms, kill every mob and spawnproof, blow it up, etc. I've also learned the hard way not every farm works in the spawn chunks 😅
Super cool !
Good to know
I have a zombie xp farm in my base, and I put down my shulker box and went to go pick it up and I thought I lost it for a sec when I realized one of the zombies in my farm picked it up!
Babe wake up eyecraftmc posted
I think you forgot the 'Didn't Know' in the title my dog
Amazing thank you for entertaining us thank you eyecraftmc 🌹❤️

Eyecraftmc: there is no zombie in mushroom biome
that one fucking zombie with his creeper friend in the cave: hello :=)
That's srsly great info tho never knew zombies have leaders🙂
I love your videos you’re the new minecraft guy that actually teaches everything not almost everything
Husk Jerky..good eatn'
I"m a bedrock player
I have actually noticed that zombies will notice and follow you from further away than other mobs
Well I know what I’m doing in my Bedrock world - camping the Jungle until I get me a zombie riding a panda, haha.
Zombies spawning with armor based on local difficulty can eventually start spawning with diamond armor and equipment. Gotta say, having a zombie spawn with a diamond chestplate, helmet, and axe near your base is hell
This video inspired me to add a tank with a drown in my alchemy room. 🥛🧟♂️
Remember when zombies used to jump around all the time?
That Skeleton lurking in deep dark 😂
I’m willing to bet they got the iron from golems
Eyecraftmc never dissapoints
One thing this video is missing, is a “zombie word count” 😂
Yay new video ❤
you should do an asmr bc your voice is so relaxing!
About the helmet thing that zombies pick up, if they are wearing a helmet In daylight, the helmet will start taking damage instead of the zombie until the helmet breaks and then the zombie will start burning again if I'm not mistaken. And about the Turtle eggs, if a baby Turtle is near a zombie, the zombie will attack baby turtles
could you make a video about drowned farms? I've tried looking from other but they seem too complicated for a survival world
Zombies are my favorite mob so thank you for this 💕
Wow bro. You are the most info giver of mc
Flame can’t be put on swords but fire aspect can
Fun fact: When trying to harvest free un-damaged armor from zombies, try turning them into drowned without hitting them, and they will drop all they have including armor and tools with a 100% drop rate! I tried this in bedrock, although I am not sure if it applies to Java Edition. This is very useful especially when working with diamond armore zombi, it will be very very useful✨
21:16 there is a zombie
Just a day ago,I encountered a zombie in full Iron armor ,it was pretty neat
Zombie reinforcements look so strange in the nether being a bright blue and green mob
Whenever i have a zombie i need to keep around, like for an iron farm, i always love to swag them out with great armor lol
I've been told that zombies and zombie villagers do not despawn if you can get them to hold an item, however, I haven't gotten them to pick up a single item i've ever thrown at them. Do they like to pick up certain items more than others? What about armor? Do they despawn if you give them armor to wear?
the return of the king!
In hard mode bedrock edition mobs can spot you from reaaaaaly far more then 16 blocks
If you want a quick armor in early game, Just go around at night and find a zombie with armor, then try to drown them, that way you'll get 100% drop rate of the armor, and the armor will have full durability
I like the way you talk 👍
Lol “you didn’t about”
50 Zombie Facts You Didn't Know About In Minecraft
I like to put pressure plates on my doors so I don’t need to turn and close them. So when a zombie seige happened they raided my house.
8:22 I’m guessing this is part of the new update, I had a skeleton riding a spider the other day ☠️
2:19 if a zombie villager spawns in a jungle biome, it will be a jungle villager!
Something that I think nobody have ever noticed about zombies in minecraft, is that during Christimas when a zombie attack a village, the village don't turn into a zombie villager. They just die
Have you ever seen a zombie wearing a Skeleton head?
15 likes let's goo
I'm getting "Number 15 - Burger King foot lettuce" vibes for some reason...
Idk how it works on java, but on bedrock you can always get the items and armor a zombie has if you turn it into a drowned because they drop those items
I’m not to sure about that because on a full moon if you try to do it at night (full moon) they will just pick it up again
It works only in bedrock
I didn’t even know that there were 50 different things to know about zombies
One time I saw s Skeleton Spawn with full Diamond Armor once!
could you do the ultimate bastion remnant guide for getting netherite upgrade🌺
zombies that convert to drowned do not spawn with tridents in the current version of bedrock edition, that was a bug a while ago. they do convert with nautilus shells though
wow such perfect timing, this video is about zombies, funny story:while i am mining i actually found a zombie spawner and i died once and i died for about 6-7 times trying to retrieve my items(this happened just recently)
1:52 zombie villager chicken jockey?
Only about 500 likes ur so under rated
I clicked on the video 58 sec after release
Fire aspect on sword NOT flame that's for a bow...
I saw a zombie with a enchanted foaming helmet and he actually dropped it for me
Fun fact:- phantom and zombies are enemies phantom will hit the zombie if the target of him is not to the player
