FAQ: (Questions that are asked to me OFTEN, will answer here)
Q: Why is a small portion of the video completely muted?
A: Copyright reasons. Sometimes I get hit with copyright claims AFTER the video has already been posted, my only choice is to refute the claim but if RUclips denies it, I have to either take down the video or mute the small portion they are claiming. If the video has been up for a while, it is much easier for me to mute this small portion in the YT studio and then unmute it months later after people aren't watching the video as much.
Q: Why is the movie not as loud as I want it to be, why can't you show more of it uncut?
A: Copyright reasons. Notice a pattern here? Most of your questions will likely be answered with some type of copyright related reason.
Q: Why is the movie footage flipped?
A: Again, copyright reasons. I am watching the movie the normal way, it is only flipped for the video.

Can't believe you're on season 5 already😅 feels like we've all been on this journey with you
Right!
We have though... lol
I feel like he is My son 😅😂
"The freedom to make my own mistakes is all I ever wanted" I love that quote.
11:42 Uncle's name is Kevan Lannister and he is Tywin's younger brother.
We've seen him a few times in season 1 when Tyrion with the hill tribes of the Vale and Bronn came to the Lannister camp Kevan was with Tywin at the time, he also attended the council of the Lannister army in season 1 before the battle with Robb and in season 2 during the council at Harrenhall
6:38. When daenerys got the unsullied in season 3, Missandei explained their names were given by their masters to remind them of who they are, vermin. So yes, their names are animals.
About Varys and Daenerys... One could remember a scene from the very first season when Arya accidentally eavesdropped on Varys talking to some 'foreign dignitary' (the very same Illyrio Mopatis mentioned in this episode) about upcoming war in Westeros and the right time for invasion of dothraki army.
This is certainly going to be such a rewatchable show for me just based on all these small details with payoffs.
The scene with Jon and Mance is one of my favorite in the series...great characters with great dialogue 👌
When cersei asks „will i wed the prince“- she was talking about prince rheagar, dany’s brother. Tywin had plans to marry cersei to him but Mad King Aerys refused and married Rheagar to Elia sister of Oberyn. and that’s how Tywin and Aerys were no longer friends and they went to live in Casterly Rock till the day Jaime killed the Mad King. I love the potential marriages in the books lol. So Cersei and Jaime‘s mother was friends with Oberyn and Elia‘s mother and intially wanted Cersei and Jaime to marry Oberyn and Elia. But Tywin refused because he wanted cersei married to Rheagar and Jaime to guess who LYSA catelyn‘s sister😂. So he proposed Tyrion to marry Elia but Dorne refused. It’s all so funny I love it. These are in the books but aren’t spoilers so it doesn’t matter
You realize how much is left out of the show when we all know backstory that was never included.
And Jaime actually found Catelyn more interesting than Lysa when he went to River Run, but he liked listening to the Blackfish's war stories the most.
We know that Varys has been working towards a Targaryen restoration from the start. His friend Illyrio was hosting Dany and Viserys. Illyrio (and presumably Varys) organised Dany's marriage so that Viserys could get an army. We later saw Illyrio in King's Landing, plotting with Varys (Arya was hiding amongst the dragon skulls). Admittedly, it's all been put on the back burner for a few seasons . . . he probably realised that until recently Dany was doing fine on her own.
EDIT: "Would she be called King if she was crowned?" Um . . . let's ask the late Queen Elizabeth if she'd have preferred to be King Elizabeth! Mind you, I understand that if a woman becomes leader of the US, she's to be referred to as a Presidentess, so maybe you're right.
So much has happened in 4 seasons but at the same time, in a weird way it also feels like we're just getting started...
In a very uncommon move for a TV network, HBO renewed the show for both seasons 5 & 6 only few days after the airing of the season 4 premiere episode the set a new rating record at HBO.
As someone familiar with them... Tyrion is well and truly an alcoholic. When they don't drink, they shake with tremors and puke up nothing. Better to puke up the first drink, then get another one in your system. It's the best thing for nausea, at that point. Plus, it's mulled/spiced wine, also watered down back in the day.
Ahh that does make sense
The witch was laughing because of her last line to Cercei
'Gold will be their crowns, gold their shrouds'
This is one of the best seasons of this show. Buckle in! Enjoyed your reaction and commentary.
Uncle Kevan Lannister is Tywin's brother, cousin Lancel's father.
I hope you noticed Ollie looking at Jon weird because he hates wildlings
He has a right to; they killed his family 🥲
Yes
It’s not just the kneeling unfortunately. Bending the knee means permanent loyalty - go to war when they say, worship the gods they say…. I agree mance is a great character
this season is dark and full of terrors
S5 is my personal fav. What it comes down to for me is the colouring scale😂. S4 is so bright and colourful, where as s5 is so doom and gloom with its colour spectrum.
Keep up the outstanding work 🤩
Cercis Uncle is Kevin Lanaster, he is Tywins younger brother.
Yes, the names of the dragons are Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion. The three dragons got their names from Khal Drogon, her oldest Brother Rhaegar and her other brother Viserys.
Elizabeth Olsen's movie look was actually inspired by Melissandre. 😂
In the books the fortune telling flashback was different because (very very small spoiler), cersei kills the girl who was with her by throwing her in a well so no witness can speak of the prophecy and keep it alive
Not a King. A Khaleesi. Or, a Queen.
She's basically a knight.
Cersei definitely believes what the witch told her; especially at this moment because almost everything has happened, including her friend dying, which was something the witch also told them (this part is in the books only).
She would be Queen if she took the throne.
At least one of the witch's prophesies didn't come true: Cercei had 4 children, not three. In season one she talked about first born son that died to a fever.
I always just assumed she was lying to Catelyn to act like she was empathetic about Bran. But I never read the books, so only know what they gave us in the show.
@@Dani-vu7em No, Cercei wouldn't lie about something that is so easily checked. All Cat had to do is mention it to Ned, who would ask Robert. Also, a death of a prince is a pretty important event and everyone in Red Keep would know, and any of the King's servants could be asked if something like prince's death really happened.
New season let’s go!
i would also like to see a "characters death prediction": who lives and who dies before the end of GoT. it's already a bit late to do but it would be interesting. At least for main characters:
Tyrion
Cersei
Jon Snow
Daenerys
Arya
Sansa
Jaime
Jorah
Samwell
Theon
Varys
Brienne
Davos
Baelish
Bran
Missandei
Bronn
Podrick
Grey worm
Tormund
Melisandre
Margaery
Stannis
Ramsay
Doesn't matter how short Jon Snow is... he's got big dick energy, he always has been the Alpha in most rooms. And always doing the right thing. Mm.
Jon the goat
If you want to see more Mance Raider watch show Kin, it also stars Daredevil and Peter Baelish
Think I've heard of it!
I don't get why Stannis army looks so big going after King over the wall and small against Boltons.
Hey, its better not to know how 2 year olds look than to be able to exactly guess the age of any small child just by looking at them, that would be much worse ❤😂
Why? Why does this even matter?
"You will have three." This is a mistake in the show, as Cersei had Robert's child (on the show) who died. This was confirmed as not just a lie she told Catelyn when Cersei and Robert discussed it.
miscarriage, doesn't count as having had a child
@@soup8900 I mentioned (twice) I was talking about the show when I said she'd had four children. A *little dark-haired beauty,* who fought to stay alive, from the story Cersei told Catelyn (only on the show), and confirmed when Robert and Cersei discussed it (on the show).
Kevan Lannister has been around, just not very noticeably.
I like the sendoff they gave Mance, but I must say I like the book's direction better. They burned a decoy in the books. Mance is alive. Melisandre saved him. She needs him for a very special task in Winterfell. But I like the Wall storyline and the King's Landing stuff in this episode.
Dany, though, is on a very different path. In A Dance With Dragons, she trying out Mereenese politics, but also feeling incredibly suffocated by the burden of trying to follow Mereenese traditions. The more she does this, the more of her Targaryen self is chipped away. She feels increasingly choked by everything until the end of the book, with an explosive and brilliant high-fantasy climax.
Interesting. Does Mance go by a different name then
Agree about the Mance thing. (And other plotlines . . . ) Plus, though I greatly admire Ciarán Hinds, he's not the Mance from the books. I miss that Mance.
Welcome to the best season of game of thrones!
Now the painful seasons
Bro, I just noticed low key you look like walter jr
LMAO, I've heard that before tbh
Cersei should be glad Tywin is dead, to be honest.
Wow. I almost never read the comments on your videos, and today I discover that your viewers are either really well informed, or complete dicks. I'm sorry you have to deal with the latter.
As a huge fan of the books, I check out a lot of reactors when they start Game of Thrones, very few do I watch for more than a couple of episodes though. I really enjoy a few things about your reactions - first, you're truly a 'summer child' as unspoiled as anyone can be about a show this much a part of the cultural zeitgeist. Second, you *think* about the plot, and what reasons a character may have when they do something that seems surprising. Lastly, you leave in the hopes you have for characters, the errors with names, the joy at the downfall of the despised... all of this makes for entertaining viewing.
Should you ever feel so inclined to read the books, I invite you to look at the 'booktube' corner of the internet, there are insanely clever people making amazing content about the books, and I think you'd enjoy it. I can heartily recommend The History of Westeros, and Radio Westeros.
Idk if he’ll read the books now… TOO MANY spoilers from the books 🙄
@@AmericanMumReacts LOL... he might *think* so, but the changes to the storylines and characters mean there is an absolute WEALTH of great stuff as good or better than what got on screen, that simply never made it into the show.
I'm not a fan of Stannis as king, considering he killed people for following the faith of the Seven.
Ramsay, Stannis and Cersei are the reason the world sucks.
Season 5.....in my opinion good to watch but not so good for reactions. There are only few things/episodes i'm waiting for, like it was for S3.
Why would Daenarys name her Dragon after her brother? I don't think in the history of man did a woman name her child after someone she despised & had him/her killed. With the many names in Westroros, just in the show itself, there are hundreds of other names that she could of called her dragon, other than Vaesaryan. Chalk up another one on the poor writing. Drogon, Raegar are commendable, Vaesaryan, her brother's name (Yeah, I know there were many Vaesarys'), when there are many other Targaryan first names, is a very poor choice by the writing. A complete contradiction in the way Vaesarys was taken out,("He was no dragon, fire cannot kill a dragon), by paying homage to her brother by naming her dragon after him.
Oh FFS, Kings are male, Queens are female. Just like Emperors are male, Empresses are female. It is not that hard to figure out or understand.
I'm aware that's how it normally works but we are watching a show with dragons and magical powers so I didn't think it would hurt to ask if those rules apply here especially since I'm sure the King/Queen could make whatever rules they want.
About time, a series I hope you react to is peaky blinders, at least if you haven't already.
My favorite RUclipsr 🥹❤️ always get so happy to see you post
Thank you!!
