I may have said at some point in the video something like “Jon isn’t a stark” but I meant to say he isn’t Ned’s biological son. Obviously I know Lyanna is a Stark. Just wanted to clear that up
On character ranking you hit the nail on the head with what you said about Tyrion. There is one super specific reason that Tyrion was better in first 4 seasons. It was because the writing came directly from the books. Believe it or not, the perfect dialogue came from there and that's what made for an amazing character. So you noticed it. They ran out of source material after season 4 especially on some characters including Tyrion so this is 100% the reason that he never feels as good again as he felt in the earlier seasons. It is what it is.
Especially because they really sidestepped that in the show to create that effect, meanwhile you can believably intuit it after (or while!) reading the first book 😅
I love that the main instigators of the Red Wedding got a similar comeuppance. Tywin - Crossbow Roose - Stabbed Walder - Throat slit. The North Remembers 🐺
Blonde hair is a recessive gene. The Targaryens mostly commit incest, and that's why they all have it. It takes two copies of a recessive gene, one from each parent.
Imo Tommen committed suicide because he understood that Cersei was behind the explosion and because his own mother had just murdered the woman he loved along with hundreds of others. His love was dead and his only remaining relative was a ruthless mass-murderer. He simply felt powerless and didnt see the point in continuing on.
The soundtrack at the beginning is called "Light of the Seven", again made by the amazing Ramin Djawadi. It's the first time they use a piano in this show, to give the viewers a feeling that something's going to go wrong.
Cersei's coup was foreshadowed in the preceding four episodes: in 6x06 , Bran saw a vision of wildfire explosions in tunnels; in 6x07, Olenna told Cersei that she was surrounded by thousands of enemies, and asked her "You're going to kill them all by yourself?"; in 6x08 , Jaime suggested that Cersei would do anything to protect her children, like "burn cities to ash"; and in Battle of the Bastards (6x09) , Tyrion prominently mentioned that Jaime killed the Mad King due to his plans to destroy the city with his secret caches of wildfire...
If anything, this show has too much foreshadowing, but somehow we don’t see it til we rewatch. Jamie at the Lannister breakfast at the start of the second episode (1-2) gave me CHILLS!
@@yusufraage8554most of the foreshadowing in Game of Thrones are used for a resolution of a certain problem, aka a means to an end. These led to her burning the sept of baelor as a resolution. Tommen quit being king because he KNEW his mother was responsible for the Sept exploding. Remember, Cersei told him before that she would “burn cities to the ground” for him. The Mountain was sent to prevent him from attending the trial so he KNOWS his mother wasn’t at the trial either. He comes to realize that he is partially responsible for all who died in the explosion because of his mother’s actions. He literally gave up. This episode was my favorite of the series 😁
I think Tommen also realizes Cersei sort of did this for him in her own twisted way and he feels guilty I think it was more than just Margaery dying like people make it
THIS is in my TOP 3 episodes, if not #1. The little wisp of wind that moves Cersei's bangs as she sips her wine watching the Sept blaze is cinematic genius!
I love how everyone’s first thought is…”He’s a Baratheon”! You figured it out faster than most! They usually have light features when it’s incest, but remember the seed is strong! The darker coloring wins out against the light! As the daughter of a blond haired, blue eyed mother and a brown hair hazel eyed father I can attest my coloring is my dads not my moms! As Ned said in season one “you may not have my name, but you have my blood”!
I left this comment on another reaction video. Lyanna was only ever linked to two men, Robert and Rhaegar. If she’s afraid of Robert killing the baby if he finds out well process of elimination is an easy task.
The opening montage up until we see Cercei drinking her wine and smirking while the Sept explodes and burns… omg that show opener is one if my favorite scenes of all time… the music… the outfit… the build up… it’s just so good
I really enjoy that in the end Cersei didnt outsmarted Margaery. From the first moment, Margaery knew something was wrong. She came first time, and even asked about Cersei. Later is interesting that Margaery is looking at everyone in the crowd. She notice that Cersei enemies were all there. Look how she got some conflit moments before she came to High Sparrow. That would been she could lose her advantage. I really like how she even tried to have a chared, a mask while trying to convince High Sparrow that something has wrong. But once she understood, that was all for nothing.

Something interesting about the piano music at the start- Ramin deliberately chose an instrument he'd never used for GOT (piano). Something out of place, off-putting, because everything was about to change with what Cersei was about to do, to signify a new era. It's rare in soundtracks to be very aware of musical choices, it's normally a lot more subtle. But this is immediately off and different- something meant to fill us with unease. He is a masterful composer!
I’ve watched many GOT reaction videos. You are in my top 3! Love your genuine reactions. (So much so, I watched this reaction twice, lol). Keep ‘em coming.
Tommen knew his mother wasn’t in there and he knew she was responsible for it. He killed himself because he basically worshiped Margaery. He didn’t want to live without her and he knew Cersei would be devasted by his death.
I didn't catch this until my third or fourth re-watch. If you remember back when Arya was Tywin Lannister's cup-bearer, he told her "lowbowrn girls say mi-lord, not my lord" Arya was saying "my lord" to Frey before she pulled her face off.
I’ve noticed your love for the music, if you ever get the chance you should go see one of Ramin Djawadi’s Game of Thrones-concerts. I saw one of them in London when he did a European tour five years ago and it was amazing.
This still truly is one of the best episode episodes in the entire show, dare we say the best or at least top 3 ! the opening and the ending is some of the best stuff set to screen! DANY LOOKS SOO DAMN GOOD AT THE END!!
I smiled from ear to ear when you noted that the piano is something new that we have not heard before... Ramin Javadi used the piano for this scene for exactly this purpose... in all 6 seasons he has never used the piano as main tool. He needed to create a sense of suspense and surprise. He told all this in a video about how he created this magnificent soundtrack "Light of the Seven". This is my favorite episode of all seasons and your reaction was amazing! True, I’ve never seen it take so long for someone to realize that Liana’s child is John😂 but it was also funny to watch
Jon Targaryen Stark the king of the freaking North! It's a bit subtle but when Jamie's talking with Walder Frey towards the end of their chat you can see Jamie just being disgusted with being in the presence of such a man i loved that, the music, set locations and cinematography are very much characters of the show so when those things are amped up to a 10 like they were in this type of episode it's just an amazing viewing experience, I watched new episode live on my 70 inch 4K with 5.1 surround sound so these two last episodes of season 6 were freaking cinematic
I may have said at some point in the video something like “Jon isn’t a stark” but I meant to say he isn’t Ned’s biological son. Obviously I know Lyanna is a Stark. Just wanted to clear that up

The Stark children avenged the Red Wedding. Arya took care of Walder Frey and Jon and Sansa took care of The Bolton’s. Ned and Robb would be proud.
Ahahahahaha, the other reaction I've been waiting for! 😂
Yes! I love that. It immediately made me feel like something big is about to happen because of it.
I’ve watched many GOT reaction videos. You are in my top 3! Love your genuine reactions. (So much so, I watched this reaction twice, lol). Keep ‘em coming.
The greatest TV episode of all time
These two episodes back to back are peak GoT, imo.
This is one of my favourite reactions to my favourite episode. Thank you.
Tommen knew his mother wasn’t in there and he knew she was responsible for it. He killed himself because he basically worshiped Margaery. He didn’t want to live without her and he knew Cersei would be devasted by his death.
Makes sense
This and season 4s finale are my favourite episodes of the series.
I didn't catch this until my third or fourth re-watch. If you remember back when Arya was Tywin Lannister's cup-bearer, he told her "lowbowrn girls say mi-lord, not my lord" Arya was saying "my lord" to Frey before she pulled her face off.
That's such a cool detail
Pretty awesome reaction to all the crazy moments in this episode! This is my 2nd favorite episode of GoT. Season 6 is my favorite season.
“He’s quiet, too.”
I’ve noticed your love for the music, if you ever get the chance you should go see one of Ramin Djawadi’s Game of Thrones-concerts. I saw one of them in London when he did a European tour five years ago and it was amazing.
Yess! My girlfriend was telling me about them and now I feel like I have to go to one of them in the future.
@@MovieFusion You absolutely should!
The Mormont girl is named Lyanna Stark.
Top tier reaction. I already saw it on patreon but I’ll watch it again
9 and 10 are both stellar television, your reactions were good
This and episode 9 are hands down my absolute favourite episodes!!! So glad you enjoyed it!
Wait, wait, wait, wait! Best reaction and happy no one spoiled it for you!
Very happy it wasn't spoiled as well!
