- Season finale!! What's going on yall its ya boy Mike here with my favorite episode so far. I know I said that last week but this one definitely takes the cake. It starts with 18 minutes of pure cinematic mastery. We see all our characters in Kings Landing get wrecked by Cersei. Tommen commits. Jamie talks with Walder Frey, while Sam does stuff at the citadel. Davos and Jon banish Melissandra, with promis to kill her of they ever should cross paths again. Dany breaks up with Dario and Arya gets revenge for her family, killing Walder Frey. Baelish talks to Sansa. Bran finds out the truth about Jon's heritage. And Jon is crowned King in da Norf!! All this leading up to Dany and her army uniting with Lady Olenna and Tribe of Oberyn to pull up to Westeros together. Seriously, the best episode so far. Sooo happy my baby Cersei won. Even though it cost Tommen, I don't see how it could've turned out any better for her. Anyways yall 13 episodes left then were onto HOTD!! Excited for the next one yall hope to see you there. Pce :)

The way I cackled when that was said 😂😂😂
Tommen: immediately does something rash

I’ve never heard anyone think Ned was the dad 😂😂😂
That was craaazzzyyy right😂😂😂
Right!??!! 😂😂😂😂
I have seen it MANY times. And every single time in the comments, everyone is like “wow I’ve never heard that before.” So weird.
@@WarKrieg who then?
considering their conclusions the entire show, are you surprised?
Idk if Cersei necessarily outsmarted Margaery, but she definitely out-crazied her
Cersei didnt oustsmarted Margaery. Margaery knew that something was wrong. Unlike Catelyn that only had confirmation when she saw Bolton armor. Margery realized that every enemy of Cersei was there... She kill her mask of loyalty to the faith. Margaery was not outsmarted by Cersei, instead she was dragged by a stupid man, who assume he could play the game, and neglected cersei completly.
well even though Margaery realized, i dont think she wouldve gotten far enough once it exploded even if she got out, she realized too late kinda, even though she did realize
Yah she defo didnt outsmart her cus blowing up the sept, as cool as it was, was one of the stupidest things she could've done and should've suffered more dire consequences for it but it all worked out cus of inconsistent writing.
That's because Margaery is a masterful player and someone Cersei wishes she could be. And since Cersei can't compete with her in the game, she had to flip over the chessboard and burn it all down, which is what she did here. No one alive expected a player of the game to do something as insane as this. The fact that Margaery had a hunch speaks volumes about her intelligence and cunning.
Catelyn thought Ned had an affair and thats why she hated Jon. Ned lied to protect Jon, she never knew. Ned traded his honour for his sisters last wish, to protect her child. Very reminiscent of his conclusion.
This is also one of the reasons why Ned allowed Jon to go to The Wall to join the Night’s Watch at such a young age. Once he was a sworn Brother of the Night’s Watch, Jon would be safe from King Robert. This is why Ned told Jon that they would talk about his mother the next time they saw each other, because by then, as member of the Night’s Watch, Jon would be beyond the legal reach of the Crown. As a sworn Brother, even if Jon found out that Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen were his parents, he would not be allowed take any titles, much like his old grand uncle Maester Aemon Targeryan. He would pose not potential threat to the Baratheon dynasty.
Technically he traded peoples perception of his honor not necessarily his honor itself but yes otherwise you are right!!
But why did it need protection, though... 🤔
@@andreasrademacher5715 What do you mean?
@@yomamma.ismydaddy216 While one of the definitions of honor is personal integrity, another one is personal reputation, which is directly tied to other people’s perception of you. and also, lying is by definition dishonorable, and as Robert told Sansa, lying to a King is a great crime. Ned lied not only to his King, who was also his friend, but to his wife and to everyone.
Lyanna died in childbirth, she wasn't killed by the two Kingsguard who Ned had to fight
Yes, they were there to guard Rhaegar's son on his orders.
The fact that this was the first comment I read when I cut the video on just let’s me know they are still completely off with their takes lol.

Trying to stear Aaron towards the truth is like trying to wrangle 20 feral cats in a rainstorm. Hahaha
Dayne and The Whitebull were guarding Lyanna…she died from childbirth. Remember Ned asked them “why weren’t you protecting your Prince?” And they said “he wanted us here.” What would warrant the two best Kings guard? To protect the Princes Son.
These guys are baked haha they remember events but dialogue way over their heads 😂

Ser Arthur Dayne love the lore in the books man
Half Stark and half Targaryen, a literal song of ice and fire.
That intro was amazing. In every way. Why is Mike so musically inclined. Also a good writer.

True! But no Aaron neglect.
The realization of what Cersei is about to do gives me chills every time 💥
And the score that goes along with the whole opening is just perfection, the revelations in this episode is amazing, this is not only my favorite GOT episode but top 5 episodes in any series I've watched
"She's got a list! She's checkin' it twice!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Love watching you guys!
I liked Margaery as a character very much. Her and Olenna became two of my favorite characters in this whole series because of them being great game players. Margaery played the game so good and was very intelligent and cunning in all of moves she made. She wanted only 1 thing: To become the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms and rule alongside whoever was the king and be the one true ruler from behind the scenes by influencing her husband into making decisions. She also wanted to strengthen her family and house’s positions as well. But despite her being manipulative I don’t think she ever had bad intentions as a ruler at all because none of her schemes ever resulted in anyone getting hurt. She gave people win win solutions where they would get something they wanted and be safe from the results and not just herself and her family. And she never betrayed those people either or got them killed, unlike with what Cersei did. She wasn’t destructive or cruel to anyone and fought off evilness with kindness and politeness and I really liked that about her. She may not have cared for the smallfolk but she did show herself to still take care of them and kept them clothed and fed for publicity. If her schemes resulted in the poor being fed and Westeros being a better place as queen, I would’ve been totally down with her being queen, even if that kindness was fake. Most of her schemes and manipulations resulted with good results, win wins, and never got anyone killed and because of that, I believe she had good intentions for Westeros and would’ve made a great queen.
And not just that, but despite Margaery being very manipulative, she did show herself to genuinely have a kind heart, compassion, empathy, and care for certain people. I don’t think she was completely heartless like Cersei was.
For example it’s quite clear she loved her family very deeply. She loved her brother, Loras and was extremely tolerant of his homosexuality. She even lied to protect her brother and that caused her to get imprisoned remember? She did everything she could think of to get him out of prison and even in her final moments she was trying to get him out of the sept of Baelor with her before it exploded remember? In the end she really cared for her brother. She also has a strong bond with her grandmother, Olenna and in the end, she kinda saved her life because if she hadn’t have told Olenna to go home, than she would’ve appeared at the trial and would’ve gotten blown up as well along with the other Tyrells. And Margaery also loved her father, Mace as well but that could’ve been a little less love. In the end you can’t deny Margaery loved all of her family members and did everything she could to keep them safe. I think all she was doing in season 6 was trying to protect them from the High Sparrow.
And as for Margaery and the three kings she married, it’s clear she loved none of them and were just ways for her to be queen, but I believe she had a genuine feeling for each of them.
Renly Baratheon: When she wed him, do remember she gave him and Loras no hate in having a relationship behind her back. She knew perfectly well what Renly was like and was very accepting and understanding of his reluctance to sleep with her. She even told him to do whatever he wanted with Loras so long as he gets her pregnant. In the end I think she was genuinely fond of the man because she did seem to like his tourneys he hosted right?
Joffrey Baratheon: It’s clear that Margaery hated Joffrey very much because you could tell that she looked disgusted at his behavior at their wedding feast. But she had to tolerate his evil ways in order to control him. But she wasn’t just trying to get on his good side. She actually was trying to get Joffrey to make better choices as the king because she got him popular with the people of King’s Landing and taught him to actually be loved and not feared remember? Even in their wedding she got him to decree to make all the leftovers be given to the poorest of King’s Landing. Maybe all manipulative but that was something Joffrey should have done in the beginning because in order to be a good ruler you have to take care of your subjects instead of trying to be feared and kill them right? And the little queen was trying to get Joffrey to do that. I don’t think Margaery liked Joffrey at all but I saw that she was a very good influence for him in the end. And that shows that Margaery actually had good intentions as queen as well right?
Tommen Baratheon: I think Margaery had the most affection for him. I don’t think she loved him like he did but it was clear that she genuinely liked him. Because despite Tommen being naive he still did have a sweet, kind hearted, caring personality and since he was a very sweet boy, she probably grew to like him because of that throughout their marriage. Plus if Margaery could love her father who was very foolish and naive than she probably could grow to care for her husband as well because Tommen was also very naive and foolish just like her dad and she loved him. In other words Tommen probably reminded her of her dad and grew to have affection for him because of that. Not just that but she also gave Tommen win win solutions in her schemes whenever she manipulated him and kept him happy and safe from the results and not just herself and her family. And she never did betray Tommen even during the sparrow fiasco or put him in danger in her schemes either did she? In the end, although she feigned an attraction to Renly and Joffrey, I believe she genuinely cared for Tommen in the end and may have loved him as a little brother in their marriage. At least 60% of me think she did anyway.
As for her relationship with Sansa Stark, despite her having an ulterior motive with her, she never put Sansa in danger in any of her schemes and never hurt her did they? When she and Olenna plotted to marry Sansa to Loras, yes they knew that if the marriage happened than they would have some control over the North, but they also knew that if Sansa had married Loras, than she would’ve been happier and safer in Highgarden than in King’s Landing and that she would’ve been with a kind, decent husband in Loras. Remember despite him being into men Loras is very kind and chivalrous when he doesn’t need to and I don’t think he had any intentions on mistreating or abusing Sansa if they had wed. At best they could’ve become good friends if they married and they would probably have a good relationship together. Overall Sansa would’ve been safe and happy with the result of marrying Loras and not just the Tyrells and Margaery knew that as well. Plus, Margaery was still choosing to spend time with Sansa even after that plan failed and consoled her on her forced marriage to Tyrion. That shows that Margaery actually cared about Sansa because if she really didn’t care, than she would’ve abandoned the girl after she found out that Sansa has to marry a Lannister now because there is no longer any benefit in befriending Sansa now that she is to be a Lannister soon. But Margaery never abandoned Sansa though, has she? Plus, at the Purple Wedding, she did try to get Joffrey away from Sansa and Tyrion right? I think one of the reasons she did that was so she could keep her control over Joffrey but I also think another reason was because she felt genuinely bad for Sansa and Tyrion and wanted to keep the peace at her and Joffrey’s wedding. Because of all that, I believe Margaery genuinely cared for Sansa to an extent and really was her friend in the end. Especially since she never betrayed her or put her in danger. And when she said “We would be sisters you and I”, I believe she would’ve actually grown to genuinely love Sansa as a surrogate sister down the road if she had married Loras as planned.
In the end Margaery was manipulative yes, but she also showed herself to be genuinely gentle and kind to certain people. She truly loved her family most of all and put them first before anything, but I think she was also was truly fond of Renly, genuinely sympathized and cared for Sansa on some level, and actually cared for Tommen as either just a friend or as a little brother. But the love she may have had for Tommen wasn’t as strong as the love she had for her true brother, Loras.
P.S: I know you guys weren’t a fan of Margaery but unlike others I don’t care who or who you didn’t like in this show. Everyone has their own opinions and they should respect them, or at least agree to disagree. I still love your channel and wish you both a great day.
My top 6 are #1 Queen Cersei Lannister #2 Sansa Stark #3 Olenna Tyrell #4 Melisandre #5 Margaery Tyrell #6 Gilly. But Olenna and Margaery played against the queen and they weren't even in the same league. And Queen Cersei LOVES her children very deeply. Even more so than Margaery loves her family. NONE of the things that Margaery or Olenna did were for the good of anyone other then themselves. Margaery didn't care for any of her husbands. She card about the tittle they held. The Tyrells didn't care about Sansa's happiness or well being they care about her position. The Tyrells are EXACTLY the same as the Lannisters and want the EXACT same thing. They just go about it in a different way. Both Olenna and Margaery tell us they don't care about the common folk. Margaery says she is disgusted by the poor people. When a group of people disgust you that means you HATE them. So all her "good deeds" were literally a lie to make people love her. SPOILER ALERT Olenna tells us TWICE she doesn't care about the people. She says "people will die no matter what we do. Better them then us" when they are planning of getting her grandchildren out of prison. And this is the real spoiler she is the one who 1st tells Dany to burn King's Landing. She says " the lords of Westeros are sheep. Are you a sheep? No. You're a dragon, BE a dragon." So they only care about the people IF IT GETS THEM WHAT THEY WANT. Otherwise they are disgusted and would let them burn. The Lannisters and they Tyrells are EXACTLY THE SAME.
They aren’t really the same. Both houses are cunning and smart but you forget the one main thing the two houses differ from: the Lannisters are toxic and aren’t a very affectionate family while the Tyrells have very good healthy relationships between each other. Although Olenna calls her son and grandson fools, she does love them both very much. She tried to save Loras from the High Sparrow and didn’t even bother hiding his preferences. She even admitted to Tywin that he was gay in season 3.
And I believe that the Tyrells did somewhat care about Sansa in a way, at least Margaery and Loras. Because if Margaery didn’t care about Sansa then why did she still choose to spend time with her even after the Tyrell plot to wed her to Loras failed? If she really didn’t care, she would’ve easily dropped Sansa like a hot potato once she found out the plan had failed. Because there was no benefit in spending any more time with the girl when she was to wed a Lannister and not a Tyrell. Plus, even though Olenna kinda did frame Sansa for Joffrey’s murder, it’s heavily implied that she helped plan Sansa’s escape with Baelish.
And Cersei may have loved her children but her actions killed all of them:
It was her who raised Joffrey as the monster he became at birth, allowing him to do whatever he wanted, thus creating the monster he was and his eventual death.
If she hadn’t have set up Tyrion for the murder of Joffrey, then the sequence of events wouldn’t have happened: Oberyn wouldn’t have died, Ellaria wouldn’t have went in a blind less rage and Myrcella would’ve still been safe.
And as for Tommen, if she hadn’t have blown up the Sept of Baelor with Margaery or any of the other Tyrells in it, then he would still be alive. His death is completely on her for being stupid.
margaery always attempted to fix the issues that people saw in the kings she married.
with renly if she got pregnant people wouldnt think he was gay.
with joffrey she steered him to at least looking like he cared for the people of kings landing.
with tommen she tried to force him to grow up and stand separate to his mother, which worked but ultimately led to the events that happened
I really liked Margaery. Cersei to me was selfish, cruel and way too arrogant for her own good. Probably because she grew up without her mother and only had Tywin as a role model.
Wow, thank you for writing this. Margaery is a character who deserves an essay written about her.
Excuse me what do you mean by lyanna redeemed herself for you ?! What did she even do to get you to dislike her lmaoo
I think Cersei Lannister is my all time favorite character from tv. I see the qualities, the big flaws, her tragic upbringing, her addictions, her struggles and in a way her fate. So well written, all the grey areas. And the best actress to play her, damn it.

A little book lore: the guys that Ned fought (including Ser Arthur Dayne, The Sword of The Morning, the best knight in the history of Westeros, an honorable, almost fairytale-type knight) did not kill Lyanna, they were actually protecting her while Rhaegar fought the war with Robert. They were loyal to the Targaryens and to Rhaegar especially, and they were protecting Lyanna and her baby, for Rhaegar

The moment Tommen realizes the woman he loves is dead, by his mother's hand. His best friend (it was more obvious in the books), Loras, by his mother's hand, and every ranking member of his newfound religion, the Sept, and he just knows deep in his heart that Cersei is not, in fact, a good mother. She doesn't love him. She loves herself. She didn't care one bit that Margery made him happy. And, she didn't get Olenna. So Olenna will now withhold the food, and is still alive to be her worst enemy. She took Margery and Loras. The entire future of the Tyrell family is ruined. Keeping your kids alive is not ALL there is to being a good mother. And you might love her more because she's bad ass, or whatever. But she is now just a villain. With no redeeming qualities.

I think my favorite intro to any episode ever. The music is unmatched
This opening scene is one of the best in the whole show. The music always ties it together perfectly too.

Right! Daenerys is the ONLY Targaryen that’s immune to fire, and in the books she’s only immune during the birth of her dragons.
Small titbit about how Arya killed Walder Fray: if you remember the episode after the red wedding when Bran was talking about an old story from the wall. The Rat Cook from the Nights Watch was angry at the king at the time for some reason. When the king visited, the cook killed the kings son and baked him into a pie and feed it to the king. He liked the taste of his son so much that he asked for a second slice, not knowing what he was eating. The gods turned the cook into a giant white rat cursed to be always hungry. I love that Bran kind of foreshadowed that Fray's crime would not go unpunished. He even specifically said that the gods weren't angry at the cook because he murdered nor for serving the kings son in a pie, it was because he killed a guest under his roof. The same way Fray killed guests under his roof, and Arya feed him his sons before killing him. Full circle, foreshadowing, callback, the whole nine.
The best part of the episode is learning John Snow parentage, you are not realizing it yet. The guards at the tower were protecting Lyanna, Lyanna died giving birth to John.
John snow is the true heir tonthe throne.
It's amazing they didn't realize it
@@deucesdad11 Sadly the writing on the show goes down hill from here u.u
That was not at all revealed in this episode. It was revealed that Jon Snow is the son of Lyanna Stark (and Rhaegar Targeryan, unless you are watching this so stoned out of your mind that you cant take an obvious hint). However, this dos NOT make Jon the true heir to the throne. As far as is shown so far in the show, Jon is still a bastard, and as such does not have any rights of inheritance at all.

Liana wasn’t killed at all she died during childbirth. The Targaryen soldiers were their to protect her from Robert because if he found out about Jon he would have him killed, that’s why she asked Ned to protect him. If you think back to the very first episode Robert asks Ned about Jon’s mom (when they’re on the way to Kings Landing and Jon is on his way to the Wall) and he lies to Robert and tells him she was just a random woman in a tavern.
6 x 9 & 6 x10 are prob the best back to best episdoes in the series.
Big facts
That opening made me smile alot thank you.
I knew this was gonna be good but my God what an intro!! Best reactors on all of RUclips 🔥
Great reaction - Lyanna died in child birth. Arthur Dayne and Gerold Hightower were there to protect her for Rhaegar.
*The only one who didn't deserve to die like that was Margaery, a waste of a valuable and intelligent character.*
love the songs you guys make for these, hilarious and fire at the same time 👌
I did my music theory final on the opening song. I love how another instrument is added when someone gets closer to death. Such a masterpiece!
I absolutely love the scenes of Cerci getting ready for “the trial” the way that whole sequence is shot is just absolutely beautiful
This is my favorite episode of the entire show. It has everything you could ever want. Great reaction as usual. You guys rock! ❤
Yo, Jon and Sansa also avenged the Red Wedding too. Walder Frey didn’t kill Robb. Roose Bolton did. Arya took care of Walder Frey and Jon and Sansa took care of The Bolton’s. All because of Tywin Lannister. He was the REAL power behind The Red Wedding and he gave Walder Frey Riverrun and The Bolton’s got The North and Winterfell. House Stark for the win!
There was also a subtle flashback to a conversation between Arya and Tywin when she was his cupbearer which Arya said to Frey when showing him the pie. Tywin told Arya that only highborn girls say, "My Lord" lowborns say "Me Lord" To mock Frey she said, "They're here My Lord.....here My Lord" (I know you didn't show that bit but you would've heard it) Frey being as thick as a brick would never have picked up on that and as he was so obsessed with everyone mocking him it was poetic justice that right before his death he was mocked again because he really was just a little fish with a bridge in a big pond. Perfect.
STFU this intro was amazing!!! 😂😂 why is this channel not bigger?? they’re waaaay more entertaining than most reactors!!
Love watching this again with you guy's! That Intro made my day! Only problem is now it's stuck in my head!😆😅🤣
I love how y’all correctly predict stuff beforehand, like Cersei using the dragonfire and Tommen k!lling himself, yet you’re still extremely surprised everytime it happens😂
I’m a new subscriber and wanted to say you guys are THE BEST reaction channel ever. Been binging your videos for the past week and finally caught up! Love your discussions and enthusiasm. Can’t wait for the rest if the series!
I just can't with people that don't understand that the scenes take place over a period of time. They are not happening the same day or the next day to each other. Even when this episode first aired and people kept asking how Varys got there at the end so fast, it annoyed the heck out of me. Even if your brain isn't comprehending that the events being shown are over the course of a time period and not hours or a few days apart, how could you see that huge fleet of mixed banners and not make the connection that it takes time to build ships and coordinate between allies?! Months?!? Years?!? Who knows but to think that it wasn't a long enough period for Varys to travel from Mereen to Dorn and back it ridiculous. Comon. This isn't that difficult. Now are there incredibly stupid illogical things coming that have to do with time and distance?! ABSOLUTELY. The things in this episode can be easily explained..........well that is Gilly's baby Sam. Why is that kid still an infant?!? Now THAT makes zero sense.
That's exactly what I was thinking 😂😂😂 like it ain't even rocket science, just common sense to make up a logical explanation of a moment.
Cool intro! Fun note, during the Battle of Blackwater Varys said "I always hated bells, they ring for horror". Now, note how there is no music just the sound of bells at the beginning of this episode.
Omgggg you guys were SO CLOSE to piecing it together at the end there lol
The intro was so dope 😂 i also CANNOT WAIT to see the Jon ancestry unfold for y’all lol it’s mind blowing lol
This is honestly one of my fav episodes it’s just so so well done. And I adore you guys! I could honestly watch you react to anything
Y’all have the adult friendship I dream about
He wasn’t trying to protect his sister’s name; he was trying to protect John Snow (whose real name is Aegon Targaryen) from Robert Baratheon who wanted to kill every man, woman and child who carried the name Targaryen.
When Ned Stark asked Arthur Dane why you are not with your prince, he replied he needs us here, now you can understand who John's father is and his last name.
YEEESSSSS MY FAV EPISODE OF ALL TIME!!! The opening music is my alarm and ringtone ❤
This episode is hit after hit after hit after hit. Truly the best episode of the show. Season 6 is my absolute favorite
i get goosebumps every time with the start of this episode. think it will be years b4 any show can replicate that first 15min with the musical score.. it starts then fades in thee background but keeps building. one doesn't really appreciate the true magnificence on the first watch, but looking back/rewatching it... dang. though, must say, loved that you actually picked up and commented on it!
I found your channel a couple of nights ago and have been loving the reactions. I smashed the subscribe button because your intro song to this episode made me chair dance all the way down in Sydney Australia 💃
This reaction just came on my suggested having never seen you before…now I’m going to have to begin watching GOT through the eyes of these two reactors. You’ve bought me into it chaps!
Glad to have you watching with us!!

s6 was very underrated in my book. Ep 6x5 hold the door is an episode I still talk about today. I forgot just how jampacked that finale was. Cheers bust!
That intro was amazing 😂😂😂
