System.... 😂
My GOD those tunings sound good.
Donald Barrett? Heh it would be pretty cool if i was related to a great drummer...
Great review, great playing, thanks for sharing!
Very nice playing
Awesome kit, great playing... Funny faces that I can not ignore jaja : )
Bar Mizvah..... cool. =) Sound as good as top of the line kits.
What mics did you use?
Was that the alluminium snare 14x 6.5??
What kind of bass drum muffler? thanks!
Please write which remo drumheads you used on the yamaha tour custom in this video. Thank you
But what kind of snare is that?
brad, looks like it might be the recording custom aluminum. great sounding snare
:50 "This is my first time playing these drums..." - 2:12 "I swear by them..." LOL
pro trick : watch movies on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Dorian Crosby definitely, I've been using flixzone for since december myself :D
🤣
They tune easy, but do they stay in tune?
No they don't . I have a Stage Custom Standard. Had it for 19 years.
Yesss this kit stay in tune.
@James 12 Erby
Yamaha stage custom is a great drums and versatile. But so is the tour custom too.
I though the Stage Custom was for the working drummer??
I've had my Stage Custom Standard for 19 years. Cheers!
Stage Custom is birch, Tour Custom all maple.
😂
Yes dear'friend, every Yamaha kits are for working drummer.
Even the Rydeen sounds great.
I'd love to hear these without eq and compression.
Robert Cozart I’ve got a set, they sound awesome provided you tune em right.
@@williamperri3437 Absolute lugs ... problems .... really? Quality fittings all around I would have thought. Kit is made in Taiwan so there's that.
Do these actually sound this good or is it all in the mix?
They Actually Sound That Good!!!!!
Yes they do... I have the black tour custom...
@ Bill Perri... Poor guy. Not my experience!! He better call Yamaha.
@ Bill, yes I agree Yamaha makes great sounding and great quality drums. However anything is possible... Could I play my tour custom for the rest of its life? I certainly can... I have no problems with it at all. I alternate between it and my stage custom which I love as well.
@@williamperri3437 the stage custom is made of the same wood the high end absolute is made with, so theres not a big difference when it comes to that to me. The stage custom just don't have the high end hardware on it and its wrapped in a cheaper material but I've never had a problem. I love the sound of it, tuned just right with some Evans... cant go wrong. Tour custom... its maple so there is a difference.... it really depends on what you're looking for and the style of music you play. Me, I'm r&b, jazz and gospel both kitsch are very versatile and dependable.
what do you think is better quality sound? The stage custom or tour cusrom?
I own both kids and they actually sound pretty similar, right out the box though the tour custom sounded better.
Like a lot of drum demos the snare (not the tour model which came out later) and cymbals were emphasised most. Missed opportunity.
Awesome playing, but he was more focused on the snare. emphasize the toms and bass drum more.
is his beard painted on his face?
No.....its gaffa tape.
“Why don’t I hit on them a bit so you can hear what they sound like.” - plays a snare solo
