      @@stainedsplinters Just finished watching all the way to the end - you definitely need the high viscosity stuff. It'll save you sooooo much time fussing with getting your top coat to the edges. I'm a newbie and I can do it after just a couple of practice trials, you'll get it in no time. I'm also very sorry about your autoimmune issues. I have chronic pain / PTSD / depression issues and some days are harder than others. Congrats on producing such beautiful stuff even bad days!

    I love these, never thought about doing an Ombré on these before. Where did you get your blanks?

    These are very pretty!!! I have a question about your blanks. Do you glitter the "back" of the blank and put vinyl of the "front"?

    • @stainedsplinters
      @stainedsplinters  Год назад

      I do glitter the back. For most shapes the front and back are the same, but for some, they aren’t. It’s important to check especially when you buy blanks with decals!

    I need to learn how to make my own blanks and decals. Do you teach a course for that or could you recommend one?

    • @stainedsplinters
      @stainedsplinters  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for the question. I can do a video for each of those; how I make my acrylic blanks and how I cut vinyl for decals.
      I will also do one for the printed stickers, because I use those for some of my designs as well.

    Instead of the 3M tape can I add a dab of resin and secure it that way?

    • @stainedsplinters
      @stainedsplinters  Год назад +1

      You can, but with the UV resin, it’ll be a bit difficult for the UV light to properly cure the resin.
      You can use 2 part epoxy (super inconvenient) or a good super glue.

      You can also use superglue. I like Loctite professional liquid.
