Pretty nice! I never heard of them (til now), but I rarely get on the web. Looks like a good flats rig. Nice job on the walkthrough.

@ it’s great seeing flats boat companies starting to come back as a retired boat and yacht builder I enjoy seeing quality boats being produced , I worked for Silver King the last two years before they were bought by Jonny Morris , my only regret is is should of built and bought one then , I’ve been away from boat building for 17 yrs the cost of materials has gone up considerably, unfortunately this is part of reason why the boats of today are so costly, and unaffordable especially during the current administration, but maybe that will change soon , tarpon boats look very well made were is there their company located ?

good looking rig, but i thought in the tournament you had a boat with a 150 merc??
also, you got rid of your egret?

No that was this boat. This is the owner of tarpon boatworks. We used it because mine wasn’t ready yet. I didn’t get rid of the egret, that’s my dad’s. I got a tarpon 17 and sold my Microskiff. Check out the other walkthrough!

Isn't this the same boat company that Justin M fished for a while and did reviews like crazy? Then he ended up with a different brand. Seems to be. I wonder what the whole story on that deal was. Poor guy want backto the Gheenoe for a while.

Nice rig but went to their web site and no pricing information. I am always skeptical of a company that doesn't at least give a base price and warranty information. I am quite a bit older than you and have been around the backcountry for many, many decades and have watched the industry change. Unfortunately they have out priced the average fisherman and family man that is not a tournament fisherman. I've seen a lot of companies come and go because people just can't afford today's prices so the volume isn't there to support the business. Let's put it this way, I saw Hewes boats in the beginning with his first flats boat. Good luck with your 17, I watched the video and nice rig.

Thanks man. Yea the base price for a fishable boat is somewhere around 58k I believe. Pretty bare bones.

We build every boat to custom order and give out customers there dream boats. The 19 starts at $58k the boat in the video runs $91k to be honest its the options that everyone wants these day that pushes the price up.. Our price compares the Hewes redfisher
