  • Cheapskate builds a DIY snow plow for a Suzuki Carry mini kei truck.
Using scraps and very little understanding of how a plow works I build one from scratch. A bit of welding, grinding, and drilling - along with plenty of head scratching. In part 2 I finish the fiddly bits of welding, painting, assembling the plow.

Between this and your front end loader project for the lawn tractor, I’m really impressed. Lots of stuff I’ve always wanted to do, but never did. You actually did it! Well done! Your ingenuity and patience are truly commendable. Good work!

Thanks! Some people do yoga, therapy, run marathons. I do these things. It's all just a form of distraction.

To fix the wobling, id make a frame in the shape of an A, it'll always have some wobble being mounted to a hitch, but the A frame will make it strong. What you got will probably bend

How's your crawl space doing have the walls collapsed

No collapse yet. I'll happily provide a video when, as I'm told, the certain disaster happens to teach me that I've been a naughty boy.

You are only not good at welding, if it breaks where you welded it. If you welded, and it helded, then thats good welding'.

True 'dat. The breaking will probably happen somewhere other than the welds, in which case it's bad design. Still on me, but I can't blame the welder 🤣
