You should have included your S24 QSD in the test for all the Exynos haters 😉. Something important that could have been emphasized more clearly is that the power consumption of the S24 is lower in RUclips and higher in Meet. Most likely because Meet is doing a lot more processing of the image. Gotta use that 2x performance of the Exynos 2400 for something 😅. To make the battery life and heat comparison a bit more fair you could put the S24 into light performance mode which makes it about 10% slower (still crushing any mid range SoC ^^).

The speaker volume levels weren't set to the same level either. He also uses benchmark apps, but if you do a battery drain test, that's not fair because a more powerful chip with less battery capacity will, of course, use more battery than a mid-range phone with lower benchmarks and a bigger battery. I have an S24+ with an Exynos 2400, and my battery experience is great, so don't let this video fool you. You get what you pay for.
Since the s24 fe was just announced, I do hope you can compare it to a55. I don't need a very powerful phone. I just need something that would last longer but is still capable when I need to. Thanks.
The more powerful the processor, the more it heats up. 2400 heats up more because it is more powerful. 1480 heats up less than 1380 because it is slightly stronger. I think this is the problem.
Well the S24 SoC has 2x - 5x better benchmark performance, that's worlds apart and not even a fair comparison. Looking at 4:05 which is very interesting, you notice that it's even better optimized (lowest power consumption of all) but on the other hand has highest power for other tasks. As they're all performing the same task it seems S24 SoC fires its high power core(s) up unnecessarily early. So Samsung could definitely do some optimization per software update for better battery life. To check this at least in parts, you could do the same test but with S24 in energy saving mode (would still outperform the others by far performance wise).
You should consider that the S24 has a screen brightness of 2600 nits and the A55 has a screen brightness of 1600 nits. High brightness may cause heat.
That 2600 nits is useless anyway, no one will use it in real daily activity. The max brightness i ever used only on 30%-40% and i rarely use it. Unless you have abnormality with your eyes or you facing the sun directly, even that you don't need 2600 nits brightness.

Will i get any issues like samsung wallet/network issues like volte and 5g reception or any update cycles or any others which you aware of.. please i was not able to get this answer in whole internet, all the answers which i got are not cosidtent. please help me here.
And then those youtubers who make "a day in a life with s23" try their hardest to show max battery life when the base models are clearly not capable of surviving atlast half of a day . Btw even my mom's s23 with snapdragon is heating like crazzyy EVEN MORE THAN EXYNOS 1380. base models of flagship are only for one specific audience.. those who want small phones because other mini phones have been discontinued
If you're a hater ,you are happy now. If you're someone who notice the success of meditek and the growth of exynos from its previous versions, there is a much powerful processor (comparing other two here) and a lesser battery capacity. Exynos is on the right track 🎉
Instead of 5g, it's better to use 4g. More people use it in their daily routines. Also, using s24+ would make more sense in this comparison, given the sizes of a55 and a35
Question: the diplay of the S24 can achieve much higher brightness. So, at full brightness, it's much brighter that the other two at full brightness. But doesn't this mean it consumes more battery? The scientific approach would be to measure brightness and set it on par on every phone, even if the bar is at a different setting.
Why wouldn't Samsung want to make it all the same ? Have the Qualcomm Snapdragon chips in all their flagship models regardless of the country or region the phones are being sold, i'm sure that will help to push up sales of their handsets globally. Qualcomm Snapdragon chip's good performance is well known throughout the world as these chips are used by many smartphone manufacturers. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying that the Exynos chip's performance pales in comparison to the Snapdragon's chips but at least until they have managed to resolve the battery life and heating issues, they should use Snapdragon chips in their handsets.
Techmo, I'm genuinely confused idk the reason but my s24 exynos get hotter using chrome than playing genshin impact and the weather isn't cold and I didn't download upgrade I'm really confused, if you could have idea I'd like to know it

I have an S24+ with an Exynos 2400, and my battery experience is great, so don't let this video fool you. You get what you pay for.
When s24 gets hot drains battery like crazy
My only gripe with this test is maxing out brightness that's not realistic should atleast be just before the warning you get for going too bright.
Im guess, i sticking to s23 as a new phone.
Thank you for informative and honest reviews
High brightness may cause heat.
outside...inside the house no1 blasts the screen that high....take it as is...S24 exynos ain't that great (it's ok for non tech enthusiasts)
That 2600 nits is useless anyway, no one will use it in real daily activity. The max brightness i ever used only on 30%-40% and i rarely use it. Unless you have abnormality with your eyes or you facing the sun directly, even that you don't need 2600 nits brightness.
I am planning to buy snapdragon varient of s24 to use in india. Will i get any issues like samsung wallet/network issues like volte and 5g reception or any update cycles or any others which you aware of..
please i was not able to get this answer in whole internet, all the answers which i got are not cosidtent. please help me here.
Right now in Europe I didn't encounter any issues, I don't know about India.
Which doesnot hurt eyes?
Your voice is like Ronaldo
And then those youtubers who make "a day in a life with s23" try their hardest to show max battery life when the base models are clearly not capable of surviving atlast half of a day . Btw even my mom's s23 with snapdragon is heating like crazzyy EVEN MORE THAN EXYNOS 1380. base models of flagship are only for one specific audience.. those who want small phones because other mini phones have been discontinued
Took Xiaomi 14 instead and I am happy with it. Only other compact I would choose are the Sony phones.
Is that after an update or something? What is causing the overheating in your opinion
a real test thank you ❤
If you're a hater ,you are happy now.
If you're someone who notice the success of meditek and the growth of exynos from its previous versions, there is a much powerful processor (comparing other two here) and a lesser battery capacity.
Exynos is on the right track 🎉
Hope to add Snapdragon version of S24
would the the slight differnce with a55 and 135 justify the 100e price difference? for normal use no gaming
I would say yet, but depends on how much that 100 means to you.
Bro, can u tell me which part from which sec is these phone connect to 5g?
Exynos 2400 is a bad joke in terms of power draw and efficiency.
it's also sad that Google keeps using those subpar chips for their Tensors
best result, the s24 temp really bad.. even if it is normal, but for area which already HOT, using this phone really bad decision.
A55 best
Hello sir, I am from India What is the price of Samsung Galaxy S24 Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Valet at your place and can you get it couriered in India?
Too bad A55 does not have wireless charging. I do not want to have wires on android auto so that is why I want wireless charging.
Instead of 5g, it's better to use 4g. More people use it in their daily routines. Also, using s24+ would make more sense in this comparison, given the sizes of a55 and a35
What on screen app do you use?
I wrote it myself, it's not published
Can you please compare s21 fe exynos vs SD 888 vs s23fe exynos VS SD 8G1
Question: the diplay of the S24 can achieve much higher brightness. So, at full brightness, it's much brighter that the other two at full brightness. But doesn't this mean it consumes more battery? The scientific approach would be to measure brightness and set it on par on every phone, even if the bar is at a different setting.
Hi, I did measure the brightness using lux meter on a white background.
Thank for this video❤
I just bought an a55, is it normal for the battery to drain fast the first week or so if it's brand new?
For the first few days it's normal, the OS is compiling the applications on the background.
@@techmo2020 when will it normaly stop draining faster? Like for it to drain at normal speeds
@@rradusstefan4883 After 3-4 days, if it's not maybe the battery has a problem. How much screen of time do you get?
@@techmo2020 how do i check that?

Please do a galaxy a55 camera test. Love from Bangladesh.
Damn the s24 aint as good as i expected it to be. Glad, I got my s23 with the maximum discount :3
Can anyone say about s24 pwm . Is it bad for our eye?
I'm not a doctor so frankly I can't tell. I know it creates some nausea and issues for some folks.
Snapdragon S23 w/big discount is the best deal. My mint condition 512GB S23U cost me less than a base line new S24
Every test you make with exynos2400 we can see exynos is trash

@@casuarius6576 did you watch the s24 exynos vs s24 s8g3 :)
S24 would be great if they made it as thick as a pixel 8 so it could fit a 4600mhz battery
I know the S24 Exynos 2400 will go first, but the results are still quite disappointing. Definitely not worth the full price.
Althought he a55 has a weaker chip then the s24, its bigger display and still a greay performance i would rather want the a55 tbh
Techmo, I'm genuinely confused idk the reason but my s24 exynos get hotter using chrome than playing genshin impact and the weather isn't cold and I didn't download upgrade I'm really confused, if you could have idea I'd like to know it
Depends on what u are doing on chrome is can be very intense for the chipset.
@@techmo2020 thx for answering and also could you if possible compare the 4 best cpu (dimensity 9300 , sp8 gen 3 , A17 , exynos 2400)
Can anyone who bought the a35 tell me if it gets as hot as the a54?
Exynos is terrible across the board. I have an A34 which I keep on protect battery so it stops charging at 85% and I can get on average 7 and a half hours SOT. I also put it to charge with about 18% left.
Because your phone knows your usage. While these are factory reset
Hi. I have noticed that new update is draining battery faster than before. Have you experienced same? (S24+)
No I didn't, but give it time, phones drain the battery when there is an update because of background processes.
@@techmo2020 yeah, It is better now, thank you anyway :)
Ok i will stick with my s23 with snapdragon gen 2 😁
A much needed comparison for me, thanks mate 👍
4000 vs 5000 Miliamperes
This is why Exynos should never had a place in flagship phones, it's a hot mess and poor battery optimization.
Does anyone know how much tempeture A55 can hold at max? Or just a regural phone
I bought the A35 jist very little difference from A55 they're almost the same
No a55 is better
The s24 has a smaller battery, and also higher screen brightness and so on, but its more expensive so it has to be better than them.
Not sure where GSM arena got 18 hours 53mins of video streaming from on A55??
They test on airplane mode with 200 nit brightness.
@@techmo2020 seriously? That's basically false advertising then
