WOW! What an interesting life you lived. Being a city girl - I can't imagine not having an fully functional indoor bathroom. However, I do remember visiting my dad's mom & dad on their farm. Also remember them having to use well water and pumping it in their kitchen sink. Remember it tasting so different from my city water. Thanks for sharing a small part of your childhood. Love these stories!

I still dont get how morpheus has so many subscribers while you are way better with lights, camera, sound, stories and positivity.
Here are my observations as I subscribe to both.
1. When Morpheus started his channel years ago, it was much easier then to grow an ASMR channel than it is now. RUclips's algorithm does not favor ASMR channels as much nowadays.
2. He was one of the first "grandpas" to do ASMR. First mover's advantage.
3. Morpheus eats a whole lot more fast food. Fast food brands drives traffic.
4. In relation to #3, there's a lot more diverse and popular fast food options in the USA than Canada. Therefore, easier to gain an audience.
5. Most ASMR traffic comes from the USA, so if you combine #3, and #4. It's easier to get subscribers.
6. I feel they both have good lights and cameras. Sounds are highly subjective. Some people do not like stories, and just prefer straight up eating sounds. As for positivity, I wouldn't say Morpheus is negative, but I will say Fixated is more positive.
Just my 2 cents.

This is very interesting Willchu, thank you for sharing. I still don't understand how the algorithm works or why some of my videos took off like a rocket and others burned on the launch pad. @@auralfixatedasmr8647 Fast food asmr videos tend to gain traction easier and have higher view count than non-fast food asmr videos. This is why most ASMR channels focus on eating fast food rather than eating normal foods. This may also explain why these videos do better because it allows RUclips to place more valuable ads than non-fast food videos. At the end of the day, like most businesses, platforms like RUclips will better promote videos that will allow them to maximize their ad revenue. Money is king.
@@auralfixatedasmr8647 The algo also seems to LOVE videos that are shorter in length. 7-12 minutes seems to be a sweet spot in addition to the outright "Short" videos which seem to be over before they start IMO.
