Pipe dream follows:
Jumbo decide to support Sepp for GC. Roglic and Vingegaard pay him back for the times he helped them win grand tours by being his super domestiques.
Nice dream and one many people would love to see. All Jumbo wants is the race win to have the trifecta. Supporting Kuss to get it really would be something!
After all 3 grand tours at the same year. And all to Jumbo
Who knows?! We all know he’s a super climber, but question is how’s he gonna fare on the ITT.
I sure hope he does well.
More than deserved for him. 😃
At the end of the day, Jumbo will still win, regardless of who it is. 🚴
@@toninavegan That's right. On the 19K TT in the Giro, Kuss was 2:09 behind Evenepoel. This is a 25K TT. We shall see, it should be interesting. I'd love to see another crazy performance by Remco. And I'm curious who is gonna end up ahead between Remco, Ganna or Vingegaard
@@severusrogue259 I’d say it will actually be between Roglic and Evenepoel, so I hope Kuss doesn’t lose too much time. 😅
I’m pretty sure he’ll have the TT of his life has (most likely) he’ll be wearing the red jersey, giving him a few extra watts. 😜
I’m so glad Sepp has a grand tour leaders Jersey for all his selfless work for the team
So deserving for Kuss after all the work he's done this summer. 🇺🇸
Dreaming of a Sepp Kuss GC win 🏆 and how amazing would that be to have Jumbo win all three Grand Tours with three different riders! Amazing!
Very happy to see sepp as a gc leader instead of only a domestique for once.
Edit: I know he isn't a leader in jumbo but I'm just happy he gets to wear the gc leader's jersey even if it's for a few days. I think many of you are misinterpreting my comment.
I wonder if the team will allow him to continue to try to keep the lead. I sure as heck hope so.
He’s still a domestique here
Jumbo is running two race leads and Sepp isn’t one of them. His time will come, might have to move teams though
@@mrninjaninjamanhe totally is. I just hope that they'll protect him if he's still the highest placed rider after the TT. He's got a solid lead over Jonas and Jonas seems happy(for now) that Kuss is placed so high
Seeing Sepp in the red jersey puts a huge smile on my face. I really like his style. A glorious domestique getting his just reward.😊
We finally get a celebration from Primoz rather than him stopping his computer and 😅🎉
Remco giving Roglic the best super domestique lead out since Van der Poel for Phillipsen!
Gift from Soudal quick Step team poor management : Remco didn't know he was sprinting for victory...
And then bitching because he lost...
@@yvesrosenbaum7718Lmao 😂😂😂😂
Spectacular stage, seems to me riders had a lot of fun... pushing pedals pretty hard...big surprise like usual, every winner we go crazy happy indeed, congrats Rogla superman, congrats all riders, they are all winners of only keeping up, cycling is the most exciting adventure of life guys, never stop believe in ❤🚴💎👍🚴🌈🚴🥂💯
Love sepp kuss, he's such a beast honestly
Almost dropped
@@user-rj4kh7dm4u and he dropped everyone else the other day. your point?
Rogla 😎😍
Roglic, an example of overcomimg and resiliense!!
Need to get Kuss on the final podium
1st Ving, 2nd Roglic, 3rd Kuss ? Would be some kind of sickness.
Why not first?
First hopefully, he deserves it big time!
I hope TJV will let him go for GC he is a great rider
This is a great highlight. Love the narration over it.
Thank you so much🙏💕
Sepp Kuss!!!!! Woohoo!! :)) leading the GC!!!
For someone who's not watched the race, the highlight always gives away the race outcome midway through the highlights. Not the first time it's happened. Case in point when he mentioned that Martinez will be down ~1min at the end of the day somewhere in the middle of the video.
Sepp 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
GC Kuss punching the air because he was happy for Roglic and the team. GC Kuss is the ultimate team player.
Jumbo as a team is too good
Heck yeah super domestique in the leaders jersey! Lets hope he can hold it and the team lets him
Kuss will take some unshipping if he goes into a protected rider mode ! Jumbo have a trident spear to nail any moves against them . awesome position to be in.
Go go! Durango Joe! Congrats Sepp!
glad to see vingegaard letting Roglic shine and cheering him....im starting to like him....i am a big Pogacar fan so I was a bit miffed that Vingegaard made Pogacar look weak 😅😅😅
Pogacar was weak in the tour but not for Vingegaard effect, but for lack of training and racing in the three previous months (because the injury): he is fabulous and did podium but not miracles in cycling.
Do you really think Vingegaard can outsprint someone 😂?! We saw how he sprinted against Remco and finished behind him. He is maybe the best climber, but his sprinting abilities are poor.
@@user-hk3zm8tm3h Vingegaard NEVER could win a sprint against Pogi, NEVER. He's a very endurable climber and (if well prepared) is excellent in tour's TT.
Awesome Sepp and Roglic (superb sprint in the final!). One of them will win the Vuelta (I hope Sepp.. Roglic already has the Giro).
I mean Roglic sprint was good but wasn't the same kind of sprint Remco did a few stages ago. Remco shoumd have won actually. He was stronger but had no idea they were sprinting for victory. Too bad. I'm hoping some fireworks from him tomorrow
@@severusrogue259 Nah... Remco won that sprint because he was intelligently OPPORTUNIST not because he's stronger. Watch again: the peloton was distracted, Roglic was absolutely not interested. When they reacted was late. Those kind of event didn't happen often, he was intelligent and.. lucky
Cartenia? Carta -he-na!
What a strong Jumbo Visma performance
Remco Remco Remco... He didn't realise they were sprinting for win? If that's true not one of the other potential race winners made same mistake.. He could of asked Rog or Ayuso...ive seen Rog out sprint him before so it's hard to not find it unrealistic that he beat him again. If Kuss wins then Jumbo would have won the 3 Grand Tours with 3 different riders in one year... Insane
Sepp Kuss for La Vuelta 😁😁😁
I'm glad sepp Kuss got the Jersey for now he deserved it
Another proof that Soudal Quick-Step still needs to improve a lot for a top cyclist like Remco Evenepoel.
For example, Remco Evenepoel was not informed in time by the team management that he could sprint for victory today.
Unforgivable
What??? remco is top, but top "looking-excuses" rider! Do you really believe that he lost because a manager doesn't tell him that he has to win the sprint to win the stage? wasn't he in the race? 😄😄😄 I've never heard something more ridiculous!
Sorry, are you seriously saying that Remco didn't win because he wasn't told that he could sprint, even though he was in front where he could clearly see that to win he had to sprint? His fans are quite special, I have to say...
@@hughjanus7354 not a fan, but you may have noticed he didn't make the sprint intensively in the end. Why would he not throw it all, if not for this reason ? I'm just wondering
@@yvesrosenbaum7718 come on, he SPRINTED as INTENSIVELY as he could. He couldn't more then he has to blame others, AS USUAL. He's a very bad loser (and too much arrogant).
@@yvesrosenbaum7718 as manlike Senna (RIP baby baby) famously said: if you're not going for every gap that exists you're not a racing driver. Remco should focus on more racing and less moaning.
It remains to be seen whether Martinez's red jersey was just a flash in the pan.
Can we all just take a moment and clap for GCN for not spoiling (clickbaiting) in the titles as E**osport does.
Why does the commentator tell us who wins before we see it? So frustrating!
Why does he have zero excitement?
It's a recap
If you don’t know who won by the time you get here, a little to the show.
It might be a recap, but it's obvious there's going ro be a lot of people who missed the stage watching it... he has no ability to maintain any suspense for the final outcome. Saying "Lenny Martinez would lose over a minute"... half way through the video just takes all the air out of the remaining gc fight today. It's so easy to NOT make all those spoiler statements it would seem he's going out of his way to ruin it for people. 🤦♂️
I hate it when they have in description to
Sepp Kuss should be team leader for Ineous or EF Education as leader he would win the Tour.
No
Can we just acknowledge how drab this blokes commentary is, tells us who won the stage before the finish line and sounds like he’s producing a documentary on badgers
is there any day where remco not pissed..?
He's a sore looser. When we see Pogi congratulate Jonas on TDF for a win and vice versa like true sportsman, Remco sadly is not on the same level. He's so full of himself that after todays loss he had to beat up a poor fence. He couldn't even look at anbodys eyes let alone congratulate. While Martinez loosing red went and congratulated Rogla and Sepp.
He was born pissed...😂
He wants to prove he's an A- level rider, but still hasn't. The big boys come out to play hes always going to be nowhere. Still B- field, hence he's always frustrated. He's no Pogi or MVDP level. This is the first time he's racing a big boy like Jonas. Must be frustrating.
"beat up a poor fence" my man put his hand on a fence after a tiring climb to support himself
and just because we were not shown him congratulating doesn't mean he actually didn't
@@saturnative Pogi is a gentleman and sportsman, not comparison with the pathetic, arrogant crying Remco.
Sepp is winning Vuelta with Jumbo.
2:31 to Remco is good margine.
There is a stage 10. Let's take it from there
SK!!!!
Wonder why they played that clip of remco without him mentioning how he didn't realise they were sprinting for the race win... Then 5 mins later they played the clip again this time with the part where he mentioned not realising they were sprinting for win. Interesting.
Is Soler a threat to the overall? Because he’s ahead of the Jumbo duo by almost 2 minutes
EXACTLY! but UAE is not brave/innovative enough to support a domestique (like Jumbo does). They insist with Ayuso or Almeida, 2-3 minutes behind!
Not at all. The TT will send him far behind the Jumbo duo.
They need to start helping Sep to win the race. Seems like he is not getting any help.
Jumbo Visma have been too dominant this year.
If this was team sky the cycling world would be up in arms
Think the way JVC racing is very different to the Sky train...Plus even though they are the dominant team we have super interesting races with Pogacar in the mix.
It won't last eternally
The vocabulary used by the commentators on this channel always make me laugh. The only other time I hear the word "resplendent" is in church hymns! They must have worn out quite a few thesauruses.
👍👍👍👍💥💥💥💥Sepp Kuss 💥💥💥💥👍👍👍👍
Why is this kid, Ramco always complaining? I don’t understand. And Yes Sep kuss deserve that Red malya🎉
because he is not so good as he (and his fans) thinks then gets frustrated frequently and do not know how to manage the anger.
Immature kid
With two pretty handy 'domestiques', and unless he can't time trial (?), how can Sepp lose now!? 😅
3 weeks is long enough to get sick, crashed, tired.
Why wasn't Remco wearing white? Wasn't he supposed to be in white while Martinez was in red?
Question from a noob: Will JumboVisma now drive for Kuss, or is it just a coincidence for them that he is the leader? Will they drive for Roglic or Vingegaard?
Well, THAT looked lumpy!
I live only 20kms from the final climb and its an absolute beast . In fact there's hardly a flat bit of road for about 50kms around here .
😢
Yumbo.🤣
Kuss for the win...
Let's go USA! So proud to see an American wearing red in a grand tour. Go Sepp!
This guy could make a sunny day seem cloudy.
New name:Sepp•GC•Kuss
Someone start the USA chant
Im still trying to figure out why Remco is beside himself! We cant hear it but am sure he said a few curse words 😅
He thought there was someone ahead, manager not even telling him he's racing for victory
@@yvesrosenbaum7718 😄😄😄😄 and the elephants fly...
@@yvesrosenbaum7718 But how can that be?!!! 😂 You lose some you win some Remco, no need to be extra

Here's a report from journalists interviewing him after the stage finish:
Evenepoel admitted, though, that he wasn’t happy with the final turn of events. ‘Today we were riding for the victory. Probably the sports directors said it on the radio, but there were so many people I didn’t hear and it’s a shame,’ he said, as he revealed he had misjudged the finish.
‘I was on Roglič’s wheel, I felt easy, I was following him but I didn’t know where the line was. It’s a shame because I was looking for a second victory here and a few bonus seconds, but I ended up losing some time to Primož, which is a shame, and I feel a bit stupid actually.’
@@johnwestwell2241 and then? he is pathetic BAD LOSER, he only has to say "congrats Roglic, in the sprint you were stronger than me" . PERIOD. Instead he is always looking for excuses and hinting that he's the better but lose due strange circumstances.
OMFG If anyone believes Remcos BS story after getting beat to the line by Primos I’ve got some very nice ocean front property for sale really cheap!😅
They dropped the break how far back? And he didn’t know they were sprinting for the win? Bahahahaha😅 I’ve grown to like the guy for his talent on the bike but as a BS artist he’s a little embarrassing!
As usual: Remco's excuses are ridiculous and embarrassing.

This is what Evenepoel said to journalists at the end of the stage:
He admitted, though, that he wasn’t happy with the final turn of events. ‘Today we were riding for the victory. Probably the sports directors said it on the radio, but there were so many people I didn’t hear and it’s a shame,’ he said, as he revealed he had misjudged the finish.

The idea that everyone always knows what's going on in a bike race is a bit far fetched, I'd say. Of course, if you've raced at World Tour level at a summit finish, you will know better.
Remco would never have won ,jumbo letting him do all the work primoz had it all in hand.
SEPP🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Love seeing Sepp in red! But honestly props to Remco for taking on the Jumbo train singlehandedly. He's got his work cut out for him.
Yeah, I think he was looking frustrated after the stage not because of his second place but because he had no teammates with him while Jumbo had three riders. I totally understand why he's thought about switching teams.
I think remco should rather focus on classics with this competition.
He should end career and look for anger management help.
@@dejandoles2683 exactly, not nice at all. I like all riders... except him. Arrogant, rude and always looking-excuses.
Why? He looked strong today.
He's not experienced enough to risk riding on gut feel in a three week race, against Giro and Tour winners teamed up on him, yet. So he's doing the strategically smart thing: Following "orders" from his watt meter and sports director.
You may ultimately well be right: Perhaps he does not have quite the sustained wattage to keep up, once Primoz and/or Jonas lays down the law for real. But at least today; he certainly had enough to discourage them from having a go at him. Roglich has been around long enough to sniff out any weakness a challenger on that level may have had on a bad day. While Vingegard don't seem to know what "bad days" are.
On longer, sustained climbs, later in the race, things may change. The number of riders able to pretty much follow all the way in, suggests that at some point, the Giro and/or Tour winners may shift into a gear yet another notch higher.
But per today, Remco looked solid. He looked no more burdened than the two Jumbo stars. And he put a guy of Kuss' caliber visibly into the red, without appearing to be unduly burdened by the required pace/watts.
Great competition & tough stage. you can see the race from another angle from road shot. ruclips.net/video/DVebYhXfWlw/видео.html
it has become a bad habit of Kirby's to anticipate important race results before you actually can see them (e.g. Martinez losing the red jersey)
evenpol cocky
carleton the stand up comic, not a pesky commentator???
Mmmmm. Face nappies. So good for you
Remco, good rider... but what a baby. He lets them get into his head and shows them how frustrated his is...
RE drama queen
Evenepoel seems like a bit of a drama queen.
This commentator’s mispronunciation of Vingegaard drives me crazy every single time I hear it.
That’s how it’s pronounced in Danish
Sounds pretty accurate to me
Why? He does a pretty good job. The first and last vowels are correct, the middle one is only slightly off, he doesn’t do the stød on the last syllable but that sound is very difficult for foreigners. The only real thing I’d like him to fix is to say /ŋ/ instead of /ŋɡ/.
Or did you want him to say a wrong vowel for the last syllable?
I think you should learn how his name is actually pronounced rather than how you think it should be pronounced.
Please please stop saying who wins the stage before we see it happen on screen!!!
Do your editors not know the most basic rule of editing: say dog, see dog . You’re announcing that Rogelio won before we even see him pass Remco! You always do the same thing with sprint finishes, you announce the winner when they’re at 300 meters to go! Let us watch the sprint and SEE what happens before you SAY what happens. Really the most fundamental rule of video editing, I learned this in my very first college video editing class!
These highlights really are unwatchable.
I guess Rog’s special juice kicked in at the right time. Cheater 🩸💉
