Unfortunately, none of the Doolittle raid participants ever made it back to the carrier, they weren’t supposed to, most of them were either shot down after dropping their payload on the target but some made it into allied china but most didn’t make it and were captured.
i remember having to land on CV's with my B-17 becuz most sea maps didnt have air fields back in the day, half the time you make a good landing and youd stay in place while CV moves away then you fall into the sea

Doolittle would be so happy, but they just don’t have enough fuel I guess.
It's crazy how they could manage landing a plane like that land on an aircraft carrier.

I think you are talking about the Dolittle raid, and they didnt actually land back on the carrier, they landed in mainland china

The fact that he didnt break the engines or the gear is itself amazing
they actually did use b25 on carriers due to their light weight and size
