My brother manifested and won a radio contest for a private concert for he and 20 of his friends with our favorite band 311 and a brand new 2010 Kia Soul. We've been following 311 for the past 15 years and has been a major influence in our lives. How did this happen? It's really not as difficult as you might think. It is possible to manifest whatever you wish into your lives as the law of attraction does not discriminate as to who you are or what you want to manifest. If you're a 311 fan, you should know this already. Live it, love it, be it!

Ok, I started crying as soon as the video showed your brother. What a crazy awesome experience for you guys. When my daughter was younger, I used 311 when volunteering in her 4th grade class as a 'Reading Ranger'. I told them to read anything and everything, including song lyrics. The chorus to "All Mixed Up" kind of became their mantra, and these now, 21yo's see me and tell me how much that impacted them, and that they are still my 'stars'.
I'm so glad that all of your friends seem to be 311 fans as well, must've been awesome experience.

Man, I saw them at Layola College in a gym, it couldn't have been more than 250 people, I thought I was lucky, this must of been fucking awesome!

Jason Siebold I had to go to the little ticket pile I have accumulated over the years and found it. 10/11/01. Damn I didn't realize it was that long ago. I'll tell you what was awesome (other then the show with a tiny crowd) before the show started, me and two of my friends were sort of walking around the place looking for the doors, we all the sudden walked up upon this bus, I guess we didn't put two and two together that it was their bus (fucking pot) so we are walking past this bus, and all the sudden some dude walks right past us, kind of brushes up against us, says "whats up guys" then goes inside. And it wasn't until he had already said that and was half way in the door that it registered in our heads that was Nick. What! I wish I could have said something to the guy, something, anything!

That's awesome! Isn't it funny that whenever you run into them you think you know what you're going to say and then you freeze up?. It happened to me at the private show and on the cruise. No pot, just froze up! At least you have an excuse, I don't.

They already had a setlist. Since it was a radio contest, they didn't know if a fan or non-fan was going to win so they played it safe.

Mississippi Nights in St. Louis I nearly died from being crushed from the fans pushing me into the barrier at the stage. I was pulled over the railing and high fived by P-nut. It was a pretty good show.

Brad Luck i think they played two nights. i went to the first night. first 311 show. they destroyed miss nights. there were so many good shows there. shame it doesn't exist anymore.
Last show i seen there was Alkaline Trio and it is truly a shame it is closed.

nice buttrock guitar, buddy! I cant believe that lop was openly crying, esp when they were only doing a soundcheck! hilarious! Im ALWAYS burnt by a bunch of tall dudes that feel like they should be in the front row of a concert, tho... First off, why cant they be gentlemen and let a girl have the front spot? They can obviously see over their heads (rather than make a girl stand three feet away from the band & stare at the back of your zitty neck)! chicks usually get into the music more, the band has some eye candy, and WHY give up the opportunity to stand behind a strange girl bouncing & gyrating on yr package for free? you'd pay HUNDREDS for the same treatment at a strip club! I find that if I just push past them, they'll allow it without a challenge, so that's what I do... the sweaty greaseball behind you is just the price u pay for seeing a badass band with your vision unimpeded... :)
Entitled skanks: the hard core fans (men and women) show up as soon as the gates open. They stand and hold their piss in during the crappy opening bands that only get reactions from the crowd when they mention the headliner. They want to be as near to their idles as possible. But you lazy short bitches with beer guts can show up and offer to stand in front of me and grind in my crotch? Nah. Wanna be right on the rail? Well since you "get into the music" so much more than men, buy a rail ticket. Usually a couple hundred more for what I have seen. Or get a seat. Or shut the hell up.

Ive been to 16 shows from 1995-2000, then just last August. This is my ultimate fav band of all time & NEVER MET THEM ONCE! Ive partied w Deftones, sat on Courtney Loves stage, hung out w No Doubt, met many 90s bands but NEVER my boys... Im the same age as them.. So, this chic is back on the map! This Beautiful Disaster will meet my guys sometime, somewhere... Beyond the Gray Sky... And a ways to go. Sara Boc, Wyandotte, Mi.

No, it was an organized event through Kroq and Dell Taco so they showed up to play and left after they finished sigining all of our stuff.

No, unfortunately they didn't. It was a Dell Taco contest in L.A. and 311 didn't know if the winner was going to be a complete newbie to the band or a fan so they created the set list with the assumption it would be a complete newbie.

I am familiar with the law of attraction and am wanting to ask the poster of this video a specific question: What if everybody is trying to manifest the same thing? Obviously, only one person could have won this competition ... is it a matter of who wants it more? Seriously, please explain how the law of attraction works with competing influences.
