I remember back in the day when some mechanics would finish a "tune-up" on a customers car by moving the driver's seat one click forward, so when the customer applied the throttle for the first time after the tune up, it felt a little peppier. lol

@@818sylmarcali9 No, this is a throttle booster which just makes the throttle more responsive on a drive-by-wire system to reduce response time. It makes it act more like a drive-by-cable throttle. 2004 and earlier Panthers use a throttle cable instead of a throttle wire.

Hi I followed the link that you provided earlier in the reply thread. I could not find the module for a town car. Did you use the one for a 2005 mustang? That was the closest I could find on ebay

No, just 05+ cars with drive by wire throttle bodies. You could just get a slightly bigger throttle body off of an F150 or Expedition. Probably be a lot cheaper too.

Is there anyway to override the speed sensor so the car will go faster than 103 miles an hour
A SCT hand held tuner will shut off the speed governor in the menu options

@@jhill108 the wheel changed in 05, also ECU moved under hood and drive by wire was introduced in 05 models. 06 brought the new clusters
Did you get a new throttle body to or u just kept the one that came with your car?
At one point I “upgraded” to a BBK unit but had nothing but issues with it so I went back to the stock one

King J start low until you get used to it. Otherwise your going to get whiplash lol. Once you’re used to it slowly work you way up until it feels natural. I run my car on Race 9 now

@@carguysnewengland did sport mode 7 feel more convenient than race mode? Like did sport mode feel just as responsive as race mode?
Cedric Miller sport mode pedal feel has a slightly different feel than race. There is a little more forgiveness on the feel of the pedal.

Gotcha so that one will still work with the TC? I wasn't sure if timing and gear ratio differences would be a problem.
