  • This retro 70's throwback machine sports Yamaha's fantastic triple cylinder 889 cc engine. Also added this year is a new 6 axis IMU with all the electronic toppings like lean sensitive traction control, wheelie control, slide control and brake control.
How does this new and improved XSR 900 work? We asked Phil Dawson to give us his impressions.

These bikes are available but they are super rare to find one in a dealer to look at. Deposit on one of the blue and got word it shipped to the dealer and should arrive in the next week or so. I bet the snow flies that day I go to pick it up :) Hope it rides as good as it looks. At 60 years old and a multi bike owner this is going to be my fun bike to nowhere. No fairing, no extras, just the basics!

I love my 2023 xsr900. It is by far one of my favorite bikes I've ever owned.

Cool review. I’m a first gen owner, and love the bike. The newer version, in my opinion, is a completely different animal. There’s a lot to like, but it’s not for me. That said, I think it’ll be a big seller, and cheers to Yamaha for the overhaul. It’s already hugely popular in the asian market, and hard to find in the states. Cheers guys. 👍🇨🇦🤪

I'm coming round to the revised looks. At first, I didn't like it. I prefer big twins, though, which is why I've just bought a low-mileage SCR950.
