- Driving 2024 Mustang GT back to FORD Dealership for the Hydraulic Clutch Line Recall. This is an issue on the MANUAL 2024 S650 Mustang GT and MANUAL 2024 S650 Mustang Dark Horse. Apparently, there is a 6-8 week delay due to the severity of this 2024 Mustang Problems. For those who have not done the recall yet we are going to have to wait a while. Get a breaded stainless steel clutch line. I had mine installed when I went to Ford to check for the recall. It's a perfect upgrade and this issue will never happen with the stainless steel line

Yo, I took mine in when you posted about it originally - thank you. They only had mine for a day and said I did not have the issue. Because I was there so early, they actually had to look up the recall because the shop was not aware yet. Im in Vegas - 6 weeks is nuts! I scooped up that shift knob also thanks for that

I have the 24 gt premium 401a white, nite pony. That I got back in March. I've been waiting to take mine in for the recall but they are packed Everytime I go. So I'm gonna hold off for awhile. My clutch line is attached to the firewall like it should be.
I just called the Dealer about the clutch line recall and lucky for me it was done at the dealer i bought it from. I bought my car 2 weeks ago.

I heard it's the metal Clip that gets pulled in and out when installing or replacing the line.. Is it different from the one used on the S550 MT82's??? And are you seeing any fluid on your driveway or garage when you get home from a long ride?? Keep a good eye on it..
Mine was in and after checking nothing had to be done and picked it right back up.

Ford only had mine for one day since there were no issues. If they were to have found issues, they would have kept my car and given me a loaner while it would have been getting fixed.

How much money folks make to be saying 50k plus for a mustang is a good deal? I remember when i bought my 2014 mustang gt for 25k out the door with inly 18k miles in it.

Check your miles and gas level too. Do both.. And that happened to me I had my brakes done at the dealer right when I bought my GT and new front brakes was something they threw into the deal when I bought it. Anyway I caught the kid banging second gear in my car and they were trying to make excuses that it was a test drive for after he did the brakes, Tried to say he was checking the brakes and that's why he was driving it a little hard.. I'm like really?? You had to Blaze second to check the brakes???

I really like the stock mufflers on these BUT I am doing some more exhaust mods!
I took mine in about a month ago for the recall and a bunch of other problems I was having it's been almost a month and the car is still sitting there and hasn't even been looked at. But atleast they gave me a loaner. When I first bought the car the routers were warped. They fixed that. Now I'm having transmission problems. Brake problems. Burning smells. Rattling noise. I paid 45k cash for this car and I'm freaking pissed with all the problems I'm having. I'm not taking back the car till everything is fixed. I don't care if it takes 6 months. Ford really pissed me off with this one
This is why I am hesitant to get into a new GT. Issues like this is unacceptable and no surprise GTs sit on the lots unsold.
Lemon law. Take it back and get your money back too.
