Thanks a lot, I appreciate this I prefer that you explain even if you cannot pronounciate English very well, we can understand. But this video is so clear. The lower part as I understand is the pre-filter
Hi, I have Getz 1.1 2003 . Doest it has the same fuel filter in the fuel pump of this car that you are showing in this video? My mechanic says that it doesn’t need to change it and that it is self cleaned. Where is the filter, can you show a more detailed video? Thank you
I've just changed filter and I have trouble starting. Does it take a few times or is it supposed to start near enough straight away. Or something else. Please help thanks
@@panhofenschneider1650 mine fails to start when it's a hot day coz I've got a K&n air filter, have to crack the air box open for it to start but I'm starting to think it's the fuel pump/filter. Hopefully for you it's just air flow. I find it starts straight away if I turn it on first wait 10 seconds then crank it.
Found the issue, u Gotta take the O rings (rubber) and transfer them from the old to the new filter, crazy how just 2small rubber bands didnt want to make the car start
@@bresek874 there is enough space, my local mechanic (was a good mate) charged me a bit extra cause the seats had to be removed. But they don't I found this out when cleaning the car and rolled them forward, there's plenty of room
Thanks a lot, I appreciate this

Is it the same for Getz 1.4 ? Also can I only replace the sponge ?
Did the swap myself for $200. Mechanic quoted me $1000. Do it yourselves guys. Super easy
We never find such a professional mechanic in any car workshops, all are unprofessional just they learned by joining as helper in any garage.😢
Thank you so much👍

@@panhofenschneider1650 haha that would make sense without those there wouldn't be any pressure to push the fuel to the engine
Donde va el filtro de la gasolina?
This is diesel or petrol?

Excelente 👍
Thank u sir
What did you do at first
My Getz won’t start, can you help me? Please…
Hi did you get yours to start
vacuum clener plus petrol evap is super combination.... dont do it...
You very good at what you do clearly, but talk us through the video on every step please.
Great 👍
you should show how to get there and where is the pump, how to desamble the seats...good video though
To disassemble the seats: you need take off 4 bolts from underneath, undo the latches near the head rest and get them out thru the boot
imagen having the rear seats in. *this comment was made by the 2 seater big boot gang*
You dont have to remove seats... Just take the backrest down and all back seat roll over to the front seats, there will be enough space...

@@callanmurphy9807 Yea, i changed fuel pump and it is not necessary to remove them :)
Mate you didn’t even show the fuel filter where is it
The fuel filter is part of the assembly. it actually encases the fuel pump
Thanks a lot.
Much support from ZAR - KwaMashu.
