another great character and artist has left us, RIP Mister Harry - it hurts to see such awesome personalities go, but Harry Belafonte will live on through all the wonderful music, films, activities and support he has given to so many people :) - greetings to his daughter Shari and her siblings David, Adrienne and Gina, my dad has left almost 3 years ago, I know what this feels like .. I think of him every single day - let's focus on the positive memories :)
He was always my hero as a Civil Rights Activist. His other accomplishments as an Actor and Entertainer were just icing on the cake. Rest In Power great one!

For God so loved the world that he gave his only son (Jesus) that whosoever believe in him (Jesus) will not perish (in hell) but have everlasting life (in the new heavens and earth) God offers the free gift of salvation to anyone who will simply " believe" in the death, burial and resurrection of his son (Jesus) and you will be saved from the eternal wrath of God in hell, and once you are saved you are saved FOREVER because you have now been sealed with the holy spirit of promise and nothing can ever break that seal, God is eternal and he only gives eternal salvation, my prayers to the Belafonte family
Tears are rolling down my cheeks for someone whose music, whose ways of expressing himself is so humble, so eloquent and inspire me so much. Sadly missed. RIP
besides being a great singer , activist , and dramatic actor he was incredibly funny , check movies like uptown saturday night and buck and the preacher i guarantee you will laugh your head off ; rest in peace and power peaceful warrior .
Thank you for posting this. I danced, sang, and cried throughout the video. For the past few months, I couldn't stop myself from singing "Angelina" as I feed the street cats in my community. I'm an 80s baby, and I grew up in the Middle East listening to some of his best hits. It sadness me but I respect and trust in God that it was his time. May his family find peace and comfort and may He Rest In Paradise 🕊
