I definitely remember This Six Flags Magic Mountain! I was stationed at Camp Pendleton in the Marine Corps in 1981. This is when the park had So Much Charm to it. The Mountain Express, an Anton Schwarzkopf Wildcat , the same kind that was also at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. I was hoping to see footage of my favorite Wooden Rollercoaster at that time in action. The Colossus. But thanks for sharing the video. It definitely brought back some Great Memories of how Six Flags Magic Mountain used to be.❤

I love Colossus too! I have only run and find memories of it and experience pure unbridled joy when riding it. I felt like it was a privilege to have done so

The year I was born - you certainly notice more families back then.

Yes I recognize this as the Magic Mountain of my youth. I rennet it all like it was yesterday. The Eagles Flight was still running and the Metro! The Aquarium I remember fondly. I hardly remember where it used to be but it’s where they have the Dive Devil Bungee Jump and Slingshot thing is now. I rode Mountain Express when I was maybe 7 years old in 1975 which was my first time at Magic Mountain. It was so exciting to have an amusement park so close to home rather than make the drive to Disneyland. At least my mom was glad about that. And let’s not forget my ultimate favorite roller coaster of all time Colossus. Of course Revolution was the best too as it was my first big scary roller coaster on 1978 when I rode it. Colossus I rode for the first time in the summer of 1980 and it was a two hour wait and both tracks were running. There was nothing at all quite like it. I miss the classic Colossus but Twisted does it justice as it’s still got the heart and soul of the original. There will never be another like it.

@@admissionand15adventures I subscribed. I at some point want to create similar content. More like a vlog of my visiting the park and various others.

I loved the Mountain Express. I rode it the first time in 1974. I was 13. I still go there. My favorites now are Tatsu and X2.

Woah! Great and rare footage! This is probably the first footage of Dragon Railway and Mountain Express as those rides closed around the time this was taped.

Lol, thanks for the names, as i had no clue, lol. It's an extremely rare home video of 6 flags as the camera was so big you actually had to carry another bag that had the battery parts, lol
