Thank you sir this was the best video I've seen, especially because you stated the 17 mm drain plug socket size LOL. I don't have my owner's manual so hats off to you sir.
I can also vouch for the Bolt. I'm about to do my 4k service which is why I'm watching this video. I'm a big guy and my wife is a thicky and we ride 2 up no problem
About the drain bolt, according to the owners manual, the washer needs replacement every oil change. The washer can works few more times, but not forever and ever, I suggest its replacement every 2 change oils at least.
The stock drain bolt that you remove when the oil comes out? Check bikebandit.com. I’ve ordered from there. They have good prices and customer service is great. Call them and they can help you find the part.
I believe I ended up using an aftermarket filter. No issues with it. I always use full synthetic. It’s better for the engine and I believe it lasts longer. That’s just what I hear. I don’t like doing maintenance so when I do I do it right the first time. I sold the bike with 19k. Check out my latest video for a review!
You have an amazing attention to detail. I haven’t ever changed the tire or removed the fender which means the dealership put it on there backwards! I bought this bike brand new! Thanks man!
@@SmallButMightyx I'm in a Bolt group on facebook. I hear guys mentioning to others about their front fenders being backwards.. That's how I noticed it.
This is thoroughly written and explained for a beginner like me. Thanks so much!!
No problem!

No problem. Glad you enjoyed it!
good video!! could you make one showing how to flip the mirrors??
The video is up! Sorry for the wait!
Nice sounding pipes. I'm parting out my broken Harley and getting a Bolt in the spring. I need a bike I can count on.
Great bike. I’ve never had an issue. Only have had to change the oil. I’m nearing 9,000 miles. Haven’t even changed the battery.

Thanks for the vid. Did you feel a difference before and after the synthetic oil?

Cesar Barroso Correct. It’s very cheap insurance and it’s easy to install. Might as well buy a pack and toss one on. Better safe than sorry.
Great video. Where can I get the drain bolt? Please reply with a link.. thank you

What is your opinion with OEM filter and Yamalube? Would you recommend full synthetic?

@@dangunn6961 That’s awesome. Surprised the dealerships don’t double check that part when they receive it.
@@SmallButMightyx mine came new from the dealer with the fender backward too. Haven't changed it yet lol
@@HooDRidEWhiteY Yeah I tried to fix it. Didn’t realize I had to remove the wheel to do so.
Thank you
No problem!
